Can't recommend these guys enough they were super professional and experts in fixing my electronic issues on my Honda accord. The dealership wanted to charge me 2k grand and make unnecessary replacements and not even address the issue. These guys helped me actually fix the problem without the unnecessary replacements for an affordable price. Thank you guys - Samuel read more

Just because I wasn't able to get what I wanted (a service they never offered), I can honestly say I stood by and watched Henry and Jorge give it their best shot. I watched the whole effort, and I saw the time they spent, I saw the progress they'd make--and it wasn't even a service they offer. Henry worked his hands off. I really appreciated the effort, the professionalism, the knowledge and expertise. At the end of the day, this wasn't what they did, but they gave it their best shot. I have replaced my son's starter here on a 2006 Toyota Highlander and my daughter's brakes on her 2013 Honda Pilot. Both times we received amazing service and pricing. Parking can be tough, but if you are patient and understanding, you won't find a better place. read more

I have a 2011 Honda Odyssey with over 237,000 miles. Our local mechanic is out of town for over a month and I needed the alternator replaced on our van as soon as possible. Henry and his team are super friendly, reasonably priced, and pleasantly quick experience. I was able to get same day service on my vehicle. FAS (Foreign Alternator & Starters) is very easy to talk to. No nonsense and straight shooters. I've had a very good experience during my first time visit. Henry is very knowledgeable, transparent, timely, reasonably priced, and do good mechanic work. Henry also explained their diagnosis clearly and present options for solutions. I was given a quote recently, and they got the job done in 2 hours and charged a lot less than the competitors. read more

They provide great, fast service at a very fair and honest rate! I use my car for my work and was a little nervous when AAA said it looked like I needed a new alternator. FAS was recommended to me so I called them up and the price they quoted me was much less than the other options available. I was pleasantly surprised that when it was time to pay it wound up being even less than expected. I had my alternator replaced on Monday and my car has been driving great all week! I will go there again for future car repairs. read more

Excellent service. Dropped off car on short notice and they fixed the alternator or replace the same day at a reasonable price! Very happy

I was given this shop as a referral from Hanks Tires. I have a fusion hybrid with the tail light inoperable. I brought it over at first just to diagnose the issue. They charged 25 bucks and figured out there was power to the light. I went back a few days later and they spent over 3 hours working on it. Henry was very knowledgeable as was Hector the shop owner and figured it was a ground. They did a simple bypass and I was in my way. Cost 140 which I thought was very reasonable. I would recommend to anyone with electrical issues or starters, alternators or batteries. read more

Please do yourself a favor if you have an electrical issue with your vehicle and take it to this shop. I have used them twice in the past few years. First time I had rats or squirrels eat through my wiring in a Hyundai Sonota. The dealer wanted a grip of money to fix the issue. This place did it for a fraction of the cost and the repair was done quickly and for a fraction of the price of the dealer. Just recently I had all three of my brake lights go out on my 2003 Toyota Tundra. I tried to fix it myself by testing the brake light switch, it was good, checking the light bulbs, they were good... Finally I decided to take it in on Monday to F.A.S. I called them Monday morning and they said bring it on in. I was there in less than an hour. They took a look at it right away and cleaned the contacts of all the brake light bulbs (Duh, for some reason I did not think of that). This fixed the issue. On top of fixing the issue in less than 30 minutes, they were only going to charge me peanuts. I gave them a bit extra because they were so quick and honest. This place could have taken in my truck, charged me hundreds and I would have never known. Fast, honest, reliable... I cannot say enough good things about this place. Thanks! read more

Let me just start by saying this has given me one of tHe most eFficient and quickest services I've ever had. Went to mechanic I was recvomended to who told me that I needed a new alternatorr, thankfully recommended to F.A.S for a second opinion and it turned out that all I needed was a new battery, it's hard to come by mechanics that are honest in their work and only care about providing sincere work. I'm very grateful that I was recommended this place, I will definitely be coming here from now on and recommending to others! read more

My car's backup lights have been non-operational for about 8 months now on my 2007 Toyota Camry. I've taken it to 2 shops since and they were unable to diagnose the problem. Recently my brake lights go on and off when I open and close the trunk lid. I took it to Hector and his crew and they were able to diagnose the problem within 30 minutes! There is a fault in the design of this vehicle's trunk and it cut a few of the wires to my rear lights. This shop fixed it fast and did a great job at a reasonable price. I highly recommend this shop. A+++++ for service excellence. read more

Bought my starter online before I found out about this place, installed my starter I got from here works great so far, 1 year warranty for under $100 can't beat that compared to going to a dealership paying $500 in labor and $300 for the starter if not more def come back if my alternator goes out read more

Hector is the man! They fixed my vehicle for a real good price and I was back on the road the same day!

Yooo I just wanna give a huge shout out to Hector and his team over at Foreign Alternators & Starters. They did a great job on repairing an electrical issue I had on my car. OK, they fixed my AC. All I needed was refrigerant. Fast and cheap, that's how I like it. And that's not all. I had a brake light problem that took them over an hour to diagnose. The problem ended up being a dealer item, so they couldn't fix it. But FAS didn't charge me a dime. They told me what the part was and referred me to the dealer. The dealer was going to charge me $150 for the same information. I ask you, "Where can you find that type of service?" I will take my car to FAS every time from here on out. I am blown away by how pleasantly these guys conduct business. read more

I'm assuming the guy is the neighborhood mechanic because he was very trust worthy. I didn't need my car so I didn't mind leaving it there basically all day. Let me just say my car isn't in the best of shape but it's my work car so I need it to get to go from point A-B.m, he didn't lie when he said my car would run like brand new. My car literally runs like new it's so smooth !! So thankful he fixed it. Over all great service. Can't beat the price either very affordable especially for all the work I needed. read more

Shop is really dirty, lady I called told me the price was 115 out the door with the exchange of the old one. Once I got there she gave me the part and started speaking in Mexican with some old man and they decided to say 115 was the price without tax. Came with no bag and no box. Won't recommend to any of my friends. Only worth it if it's something you need last minute read more

This place is great for Alternator replacement. I brought my 2006 Toyota Avalon here to replace the alternator last Saturday. I came early in the morning to check them out personally to make sure the place was legit. I called prior to check on the cost of the alternator and cost of the labor. Their prices on the part and labor was cheapest anywhere around the valley. The service was great. I was scare that they were not honest since this is the first time trying them out for their service. The place is great and I would be coming back for any alternator and starter need in the future. Glad I found this place and it's a gem. There are not many places left in the Valley that deals with alternators. read more

WARNING DO NOT GO TO THEM!!!! They are sketchy! A sketchy tow truck man pressured my sister into going to this place. (He was in on a cut of the cash) After so many hours trying to diagnosed the issue, they gave her an ridiculous quote that was double the price from her original mechanic. She said she was going to pick up her car to go to her original place, and then they had the nerve to start working on her car without authorization! AAA sent us another tow, (same guy) he showed up telling us to let them finish the job. We were disguised of how we were being cornered. Long day short, we had to call the police to be able to get our car out. Northridge Towing Service was the place that sent us sketchy George. so beware of him. AAA also informed us that this place wasn't even an approved AAA place. During a long day there, we saw sketchy people dropping off dirty used parts. I'm sure they get old parts and charge you for them as if they are new so yes. DON'T DO IT!! read more
