Bills separately for each skin spot frozen. $675 for office visit and freezing 4 spots. I won't be back. Greedy.

The message function in the patient portal is disabled, messages sent via the message function on the website were not replied to, and several times phone calls go to hold and then are dropped. When I did finally get through by calling, I was told I would be contacted and never was. Still no messages or call. A terrible way to treat people with potentially serious health issues.

That one complaint generated three separate billable procedures across two visits. Here is the actual itemized breakdown from my own bills and insurance statements: - CPT 11102 (tangential biopsy of skin, single lesion), the removal itself: $451.20 billed, $299.27 my responsibility. - CPT 88305 (tissue exam by pathologist), because the removed tissue was sent out to pathology: $377.00 billed, $20.00 copay. - CPT 17110 (destruction of benign lesion), a follow-up freezing: $403.03 billed, $334.92 my responsibility. That is over $1,200 billed for one wart. Between what was applied to my deductible and the copays I paid, my out-of-pocket came to more than $770. Here is what I was not told: that a single wart visit would be split into multiple billable procedures, that the tissue would be sent to pathology as a separate charge, or what any of it would cost. At no point did anyone discuss pricing, or walk me through alternatives, before doing the work. The follow-up visit is what I want people to know about most. I was told at the first visit to come back in about 30 days to check whether the wart was gone. I went into that appointment expecting and understanding that it was a follow-up check, and that all it would cost me was a visit copay. When I returned, the staff did not seem to know why I was there, and the provider asked me where my original procedure had been done, at their own practice, a few weeks earlier. I was told it was too soon to tell whether the wart had resolved. Then I was told they would "just freeze it to make sure," and it was done. It was presented to me as a quick precaution. It showed up later as that $334.92 destruction procedure above. I was never told, before it was performed, that it was a distinct charge or what it would cost. Had I known, I would have said no. When I raised all of this in writing, it was reviewed at the practice's highest levels, including their Chief Clinical Officer and their Chief Administrative Officer, who also serves as their Compliance Officer. The practice declined to adjust anything. That is their right, and I want people to know the response came from the top, not from a billing clerk. One more thing, and this is the most important advice I can give: document everything yourself, in writing, as you go. Take photos, keep every bill, and put your questions and their answers in writing (patient portal messages or email) rather than relying on what is said in the room. It is my opinion, based on my own experience, that the account of a visit as it is later described may not match what you remember happening. If it comes down to your word against the record, you want your own contemporaneous notes and messages to fall back on. Protect yourself from a he-said-she-said. But I would also tell anyone considering this practice: get the specific procedure codes and the price in writing before you agree to anything, ask whether tissue is being sent to pathology and what that costs, and do not assume that a "quick" add-on at a follow-up is free or included. Ask before they touch you. A wart removal cost me over $770 out of pocket and left me feeling like I had no say in what I was being charged for. Go in informed.

I really appreciated the consideration that went into my medical history and goals (I have a pacemaker so RF treatments are off the table for me - although other spas have recommended it) We came up with a game plan for treatments to address some scarring on my arms and skin laxity on my neck. I've done a few of the laser treatments and a few rounds of microneedling now on my face and neck. Alissa is wonderful! She outlines expectations for each step of the process to keep you comfortable and calm. You have to commit to the plan and the after care, and I still haven't reached the time where I would see peak results but I am SO happy with my progress. Neck skin is most definitely tighter, sun spots on my face are faded, and my skin is just overall brighter and clearer.

I realize every result is different depending on severity. My spider veins were rather typical, minimal. After the second treatment I developed an infection in one spot. When I brought it to the practitioner's attention it seemed like she was annoyed and her response was rather rude. As a result my veins are MORE pronounced. I'm not happy with the results. I would love to have additional treatments but I'm planning to let the passage of time be the deciding factor. Also, there was NO follow up from the facility. Kind of left me feeling like they got their money and they just don't care. What a shame.
