I've visited Ford's Garage in Sarasota and Long Island, and the Estero location is excellent. The Miromar Outlets are where it is. The restaurant's vintage décor, which includes vintage gas pumps and a Ford Model T that serves as the focal point of its spacious bar area, adds to its allure. Both indoor and outdoor dining are available at the restaurant. Of course, you have to sample their famously wonderful burgers. However, they provide so much more. Always a wise decision. read more

We were starving after getting off a flight at Ft Myers airport and were scrambling for a place to eat. Ford's came up on an internet search and boy am I glad it did! This is located at the Miromar outlet and we were told it was going to be a 30-40 minute wait but ended up being 5 (!). It was my husband and 12 year old twins, we all found things on the menu to enjoy. I had the Ford's signature burger with no bun (I'm gluten free) and the truffle fries which were REALLY good, in fact one of my twins said they were the best truffle fries they had ever had! This restaurant is located in a nice outlet. The staff was friendly all the time and they had good recommendations for us. We tried the Ford's original nachos. They were warm, but they lacked a bit of flavor. On the other hand, the Famous Firestone shrimp was excellent. They had good size and an amazing flavor. We're fans of the Ford's Garage restaurants. We find everyone in the family can find something to enjoy and we've had consistent, good experiences at the various locations we tried. While they have quite an extensive menu, we tend to order and enjoy their burgers. We found the same thing to be true at the Estero location. First off, it was a beautiful day to enjoy our meal outside. We weren't the only ones with this idea as there was a bit of a wait for a table but the make it easy to get your name in and wander around the adjacent stores a bit while you wait for a text indicating your table is ready. We started with a side of cheese curds which were a tasty way to start off while we waited for our meals. We both ordered items off their special menu. My husband went with the Bumper to Bumper Buffalo Blue Cheese Burger. He knew this was traditional angus with buffalo sauce and treatment and really enjoyed how it was put together. I went with the Overdrive Melt curious to try a burger version of my favorite Ruben treated sandwich. I loved the variation of having a burger on rye bread. read more

Prior to going inside while going to the nearby restroom I checked the outdoor patio for availability. There were several tables available with umbrellas. We went inside and asked for an outdoor seat in the shade. The hostess said there were no seats available in the shade. At first I was going to challenge her, but thought maybe it's the policy of the restaurant to only seat groups of 3 or more outside. As she walked us to a booth, the thought of her saying nothing was available bothered me. The manager must have noticed how disgusted I looked as he stopped by our table. I explained to him I didn't appreciate the hostess lieing about the absence of outdoor seats. My wife saw him walk and talk to the hostess in question. Mot sure what he said. Our meal of brisket burnt ends was good. We had a good server who gave us helpful advice on ordering. We stopped in for lunch on the way to the airport. It was super busy. The food was pretty good, nothing phenomenal but good enough to fill our bellies and enjoy it. The menu offers a lot of options, enough for anyone to find something. They also have some good lunch specials. I got the pulled pork nachos from the appetizer menu as my meal and it came out first; not a big deal but I almost finished my food before the rest of my family's came out. My husband got a chicken sandwich which he enjoyed. The service was not very good and was very slow. Again, they were busy but they had a lot of servers/employees around so it felt like they should have been able to provide better service. My mother and I went there today and it was a terrible experience. Right after getting our table we sat for about 10 mins without a simple table greeting. After our appetizers hit the table we never saw our server again. Calling for our check and a box at the host stand and through another server Instead of asking us how our burgers came out our server proceeded to serve other tables. Everyone ordered something different from seafood to hamburgers, and all were well Pleased. One diner did not care for the Chardonnay wine, but I enjoyed their Cabernet Sauvignon. The decor is just what you would expect, including a model T hanging over the bar. We were on our way to A show at Hertz Arena so we wanted to dine somewhere close . Ford's Garage is a burger and craft beer restaurant that opened its first location in Fort Meyers in 2012. Fort Meyers is the home of the Edison and Ford Winter Estates. When they opened they hadn't secured the rights to use the Ford name. When contacted by Ford Motor Company they expected a cease and desist letter and instead were surprised to learn the car company liked their concept and wanted to work with them. A deal was struck in 2014 that allowed the restaurant to use the iconic logo, archival images, and even have actual Model T's. They have now expanded to more than 20 restaurants in four states. I was on the west coast at lunchtime and am a fan of the cars and the chain so I decided to stop here. Ford's Garage Estero is located in the beautiful Miromar Outlet Mall. This location is very popular and there was a bit of a wait. They can text you when your table is ready which allowed us time to explore the mall until a table was ready. Ford's Garage is known for their cocktails and burgers. I love all the attention to detail like the gas pump door handles, tire sinks and gas pump handle faucets in the restroom, a craftsman tool cart used as a buffet, oil rag napkins with hose clamp napkin rings, old photos on the wall, Model T horn blaring, and actual car suspended over the bar. If you are a gearhead or Ford history fan you will love their decor. Ford's Garage offers a gastropub style menu with wings, hot pretzels, nachos, soups, salads, burgers, sandwiches, and comfort food plates. Dessert is lava cake, key lime pie, turtle brownie, caramel apple cookie skillet, and milkshakes. They also offer a weekend brunch. For my meal I ordered the American Standard with American cheese, chopped romaine, tomato, red onion, and pickle planks on a brioche bun. The burger was huge and cooked perfectly and the fries were hot and crispy. Unfortunately there wasn't room for dessert. The restaurant and restrooms were very clean and despite being busy, the service was efficient. I definitely would visit again if I returned to the area. read more

What a terrific experience! Four of us had lunch on a Wednesday afternoon, two of us had burgers, one had the chicken mac & cheese, and fourth had Mama's Meatloaf. Keziah, our server, was prompt, friendly, and attentive without interrupting our conversation. Her smile could light up the room! She made great suggestions from the menu, and our order was prepared perfectly and arrived perfectly timed after our appetizer was completed. The manager, Adam, came by and introduced himself and made sure everything was as we expected. We loved the auto-mechanic-themed vibe of the place (which carries through unexpectedly in the rest rooms), and it's obvious many others do, too. At 2:00 on a Wednesday afternoon, the wait time to get a table was 20 minutes. Absolutely worth the wait, and we'll definitely be back! read more
