I detest buying cars for the same reasons as everyone else. However, I bought a Mustang at Flammer Ford and actually enjoyed the experience. They did not have the exact car I wanted but they found me one. The price was reasonable, and they did not do the high pressure upselling for things I did not need like gap insurance. Their internet service team did a lot of pre-sale work with me via e-mail which saved so much time and frustration. It was nothing like the normal psychological game playing. My wife's car transmission quit working in "drive" late on Friday so we swapped cars and I phoned Flammer. Mike in service department told me straight up they were swamped and we couldn't get an appointment until later in the week. I asked if they could run a quick diagnostic to find out whether it was TCM or something serious IF I was willing to tow it in Monday and wait for a break in their schedule to check it out. Yes, with that understanding. When I showed up Mike was busy and a different service writer was very pessimistic about prospects. Mike stepped in, backed up his promise, and I waited politely for hours. Mike and Ryan (the technician) didn't just work in the diagnostic between appointments, they had it back on the road by 3 pm! Ryan was VERY thorough explaining what was wrong, what he did to fix it, and what he recommended in addition to keep it working right. Nice people, very helpful attitude. read more

I went to Flammer Ford a few days ago to see about a used Lexus they advertised. I called first to see if they had it, the person said yes, knowing they make commission I asked his name and he didn't tell me and rather gruffly said ask for sales. So I get there and a saleswoman comes out and I said I had called about the Lexus. In a very impatient angry tone she demanded to know who I spoke with, I repeated what the guy on the phone said. She actually harrumphed at me and reluctantly went for keyless entry. I went to look at the car. So she comes back and angrily puts the plate on the side of the car(?) and hands me the keyless entry and leaves. I couldnt figure out the keyless entry and its a hybrid so totally different to start and shift. So I had to walk all the way back to the show room. Now she is livid. She angrily shows me how to start it no instructions on shifting. So I figure it out on my own and do my test drive. I come back and made the mistake of asking what kind of a deal they can give me and into the office we go. No one is wearing a mask except me. So she comes back with 18000 for a 2013. And this whole time she is obviously is hating everything about me. Again I make the mistake of asking if they can come down , one finance guy later ( he was marginally less hateful) they come down 1000 and refuse to take my trade in in very snotty language like how dare I ask them to take a trade in. So I tell them I want to consult my son on the phone, he says its a terrible deal and he found 2 2015s at the same price. In the mean time I need to use the restroom, its down steps and a hall way , when I come out I accidentally go up the wrong stairs , the guy I talked to on the phone comes out and yells at me thats not for customers, btw this whole time I haven't said anything snide to anyone . I go back to the showroom and I'm pretty done , so the finance guy comes back and tells me I lied to him or perhaps his saleswoman lied to him that I would accept the 17000 offer. Then the sales woman comes back more unpleasant conversation and they insult my intelligence and say my son is stupid about cars unless he works for a dealer. I'm still being polite( not sure why) and say I'll think about it. And the saleswoman pipes up with really snotty voice well I guess you will have to keep driving that truck! I will be buying a car but it not be from them. I went to Sun Toyota in Holiday earlier didn't buy from them but they were very nice and civil to me. Robert Dull the Service Manager at Flammer Ford ordered the 2 recommended Michelin Primacy tires to replace the tires that were put on my car a few weeks ago that were not compatible with the 2 good tires that are on the car. I am very pleased with the handling and ride that these tires give. Mr Dull did everything he could to make this problem right. This is THE BEST dealership ever! This is the 7th vehicle we have purchased from Flammer. Our salesman, Rick, is a non pushy salesman. We told him what we were looking for in a used car and lead us to the best car for us... A 2013 Toyota Corolla with low mileage. ok... where do i begin...... i have been doing groupon coupons for flammer getting my oil changed here for the past 3 oil changes.... 9 months roughly.... this last time one of my tire studs was stuck... they couldn't do the rotation.... wanted me to pay two hours shop time to fix it to the tune of 250.00.... i leave.. start thinking... ummm... why? no problem last time... if its stripped it happened there they should be fixing it.... talked to sparky... who was decent and admitted it .. and my stud was fixed.... but when whomever fixed the stud only rotated the tires on that side of my truck!!!!! left the worn tire on the other side... rotated half of truck!!!!!! this is called you cant fix stupid ( or lazy). in addtion to the fact i had to call 6 times to get thru to service.... first time i called it rang 43 times and no one ever picked up!!!!!! i will never ,ever go here again..... what idiot would do half assed work like this... and its a dealer!!!!! mind you i drove up there thinking spring hill would be a cut above what ive had in port richey.... what a joke!!!!!!!!!! dont do it!!!!!!!! read more

Okay I've been inspired to update and do some reviews on my Yelp today and so i was not going to do one for Flammer cause my experience is bad but i see a lot of people saying good things about them when i did not receive the same experience! First i will share i Did purchase a New 2016 Ford Fusion but not from this Dealership! I am also writing this Review for a friend whom bought their SUV from them and had a recal as well as a Oil change come up and went in and boy i cannot believe what they said to him in the service Department! okay first with me ( Now you see the need for me too do a review as follows) follow along with me...I went in late November early December to do car shopping Iv'e been single for a while and my Ex well handled everything, so i never had credit nor needed it! I dound myself starting over after a bad break-up, so i was establishing my credit, got a credit card, my own banking etc. I decided to look for a Car, i seen Flammer it looked like a nice big outfit here in Spring Hill, so went online talked to a online support who had a Gentleman by the name (Nickname) Gunner for being in the Military i found out later to be my salesman to see about purchasing a car!Gunner Contacted me and we went over things he told me to come in and see him and he'd work with me! Okay now here is where it started wrong i arrive there at Flammer and he met me shook my hand then handed me off to some young lady ( Very Young like early 20's)whom looked to have been office personnel?) And said ( I do not remember her name being so mad at this) will handle and show you some cars? Well she walked me to A CAR and said here is one Gunner wanted to show you, like i had one and only one choice Now let me share i was going at first to possibly consider Leasing a car cause my sister leased and said Shay leasing is better! so it was my first intention so let me put that out there first! Ok so one car and the cheapest model they had we talked a minute me my girlfriend Rikki and this young lady i asked her some questions which she did her best to answer but you could tell not qualified at all! then Gunner comes out and says while with another customer i will contact you shay let me figure things out and i will call you! so i was sent home! ( on a side note ladies this dealership will not take you as a women alone serious, no will veteran salesman Gunner) ( To think i was honored to have a Veteran salesman be my salesman and show some love for serving our country i was just some women nothing more no respect given to a lady trust me) Why do i say this, well check this out upon arriving - lets back track a little, when i was handed off to this young lady Gunner told me he was with another buyer whom was a man a local and a State Highway patrolman who was purchasing a vehicle! how do i know this cause Gunner tells my friend Rikki my client the guy he was with taking care of him after telling me to come in and talk to me (knows and remembers you meaning Rikki cause she had a lady pull out and hit her , and he (The SHPTRLman) took the report and remembered my friend Rikkis sport Fusion!). So see i was no more important the MAN was the hell with the women, why would you tell me come in if you had another appointment then pawn me off to a non sales person show me one car send me home? Okay so at this point i was a little upset but i thought no i will give our serviceman a chance, so waited Nothing, then I had to call back to find out what was going on, in that time he said all kinds of things could not pull my report, i did not have enough qualified credit, then went from leasing to buying, then buying to used to nothing, Now funny thing is i checked my credit report now yes i am new credit i have a credit card and not alot of credit but they pulled my damn credit report 12 times fudging my credit for Hard Pulls dropping my credit score tremendously! I called back but was told nothing they could do and sorry but tough luck goodbye! i was pissed to say the least "Hell hath no furry as a women scorned, long story Funny how i gotten a car at AutoNation no problems? Flammer hell NO..ok secondly if you need service my friend Al bought his SUV there it was time for a oil change and he also gotten a recall notice on his SUV this is what they said Oh its too early for a oil change after they sent him a letter saying its time to get one?? also check this they said Don't worry about the recall we will do it when you come for the oil change next time??? WTF, what if this is a dangerous recall nothing it was like their service department did not give a flying "F", i tell you after my ordeal and my friends with the Service department Damn so happy i did not by there, and AutoNation took care of my friends Recall No Problem, see amazing the service and quality you get Flammer Big outfit, AutoNation smaller home town outfit better service! On December 23, 2015, we purchased a 2016 Ford Explorer Sport from Flammer Ford of Spring Hill after spending nearly a year researching the vehicle and the Ford Dealers in the Tampa Bay area. We recently purchased a used 2011 Ford F-150 from Flammer Ford of Spring Hill. The price was very fair for a low milage truck with all the options we wanted. This is the fourth vehicle we have purchased from Flammer. The pickup truck had an issue with a strange vibration at certain speeds. The dealership rebalanced and replaced tires, checked the balance and alignment of the drive shaft, and then reset the computer on the transmission cure the problem. The truck now drives better than the 2017 Dodge pickup that we had also looked at! All of this service work was handled under the dealership's 30 day 1,000 mile warranty with no out of pocket costs to us. The dealership went out of its way to "make it right". The General Manager, Service Manager, and Service Director all were involved in making sure that Customer Service was not lacking at Flammer Ford. read more

I was visiting family in Florida and had hot spots on on my 2013 ford expidition. The deal warranted the turning of the roters. I left the dealership and within in 2 miles had very loud noises from the front calipers. Got back to dealer and found out that the tech did not tighten all the caliper bolts!!!!!!!!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!!! Very bad. It gets even better. When the tech drove the car out of the service bay, drove it straight to the Customer pick up area. SO THEY DID NOT EVEN ROAD TEST THE CAR AFTER FIXING HIS MISTAKE!!! Probably did not road test 1st time either when he was done or he would have noticed the mistake. Guess my safety is not a concern!!! Offered a free oil change ! NO THANKS!!!! The tech should be fired. Service writer was very nice though!!!!! read more
