Two strikes, and I'm done with Fairfield Ford. First, they dropped off my brand-new 2024 Mach-E with only 5 miles of battery. Now, a few months later, I scheduled a service appointment online for 7 AM. I even called on Saturday to confirm they'd be there Monday morning. Come Monday, no one shows up--I had to call them myself to figure out what was going on. On my second call, I learned they don't even service my area, and to top it off, their mobile service isn't equipped to handle the service I scheduled through their own system. I called in before hand and had a conversation if I could either get it looked at and fixed or if it was too much to fix we can figure out a trade I come in a couple days after and they tell me that they don't work on Mazdas (than why sell it?! Buyer's beware, Ford Fairfield tried to play me like I was stupid last Sunday, 4/13/2025. Don't let that be you. Walked in there around 6:17pm, was greeted by Sam and she mentioned that they had been closed for 17mins but she could help me out. I didn't know because Google still has their close time at 8pm on Sundays. Not sure why they haven't updated that? Anyways, came in with my bf explaining that I was interested in LEASING a Lincoln Aviator and wanted to see what their "From America for America" sale was about. Spoiler: it wasn't about anything. Sam explained to me that they only had 5 Aviators on their lot and they were all the Reserve trim level. I test drove one with the jet appearance package and yes, it does look nice on the outside but the car as a whole did not live up to my expectations AT ALL. It is small as heck on the inside despite it being 3 rows, and the features are found on a lot of other cars with similar or even lower prices. Then it came time to talk about numbers... we sat down and she asked me questions like how many miles would I drive per year, my credit score, my zip code etc. all while inputting this into a screen on her computer that calculated the "numbers" for her. I told her that I barely drive the car that I have now and that 7,500mi for 36 months would be an ideal lease term for me. I also have an over 800 credit score so I should not and will not put any money down (you should NEVER put money down on a lease anyway, this is just the salespersons commission and if anything happens to the car during the lease term you are out that money). The car itself had a MSRP of $77k but with the "sale" brought it down to $72k. After she input all the information above into her computer screen, it popped out with an estimated monthly payment of about $1,500-$1,600 for 36 months which turns out to be $54k to $57,600 over that period. LOL! But just wait because it gets better! After I express my dislike with this number, she told us to wait so she could talk to her manager to see if she could get us a "better" deal. After several minutes of her being gone, she came back and presented us with the "better" deal which was $2,300 drive away payment (which I believe were the taxes and fees) with a now reduced monthly payment of $1,300 for 36 months. LOLLLL! $1,300x36+$2300=$49,100. I expressed that I was still unhappy with the monthly payment as it was still high and that I was ok with paying the $2,300 but not a monthly of over $1k. Now comes the BEST part. My bf asked what down payment would it take to bring the monthly down to $800 and you wouldn't believe what Sam came back and showed me. She was actually really bold to even come back to me and say this. She went back to talk numbers again with her manager and came back and told me that if I wanted my monthly payments to be around $800, I would have to put $20k down! LMAO! I'm not sure who the hell these people thought we were at that point. When you lease a car, you are basically leasing the depreciation. The car is $72k and they were asking me to pay $50k+ over a period of 3 years and driving it for only 7,500mi a year. The fact that they are basically saying that the Aviator will depreciate $50k over a period of 3 years is insane and further justifies how I will never own one (you shouldn't either, the car itself sucks). I am not a Ford person to begin with (Sam and I had this convo while I was there) and after experiencing the antics of this dealership, left a super bad taste in my mouth of Ford as a whole. I will definitely be taking my money elsewhere and you should too! read more

I recently purchased a new Ford Bronco Badlands from Ford Fairfield. The salesperson was generally nice and the process was relatively easy. That is where the pros end. The process took incredibly too long. There is no excuse to take 3.5 hours to purchase a car, especially when the process does not involve price negotiation. They have "simple pricing", which is a fancy term for the fact they don't negotiate (doesn't mean it's the best price). Furthermore, they had a nearly identical Bronco in stock that had a "Dealer Installed" tow hitch and harness for $500. As this was a dealer installed option, I requested the same for my new purchase. I was told they could see what they could do, but that they could not honor the listed $500 price. I was then told that I could have one for a couple hundred more (no quote), but that did not include the harness. I explained that the harness was included on the other vehicle and was told told by the salesperson to just go somewhere else (as it would be cheaper). I requested a price quote and was never provided one. After my purchase I reached back out to Ford Fairfield when I was sent a satisfaction form request. A "sales manager" reached back, but again refused to honor the $500 listed price. He provided some line about dealer installed options being reimbursed through Ford. I explained that I had purchased a $65k dollar vehicle and it was ridiculous I was being nickel and dimed over a couple hundred dollars. He claimed he would give the service manager my VIN to get me the hitch "at cost". I never heard back or received a price quote. I reached out again requesting a quote and again did not hear back. I was able to find the hitch on the Ford Motor Company website that included/required installation for a total of $695. Ironically Ford Fairfield was one of the few listed dealerships to do this install. Odd, that they could not provide me a quote. More odd that they claimed they would give me a quote "at cost", but that it would be more than $500, when the retail price was $695. Clearly they do not care about their customers once the car sale is made and it appears something dishonest is happening with there accessory prices. I no doubt chose a different dealer to complete the install, and will make future purchases there. read more

I have a Mach E, and this is the closest dealership that works on electric cars. My first experience was horrible. I took it in for a diagnostic. I rented a car for three days. I didn't hear back on day 1 day 2 or day 3. I called every day to check on status, and no one called me back. I asked to speak to a manager, and that person never called. Day 4 I went to the dealership to look into this. It happened to be the person who took my car in called in sick and NOTHING was done. It was sitting in the lot while I paid for a rental for three days!! Unacceptable. I went this morning for recalls and the undiagnosed noise getting worse. The same guy who was there from the previous time took care of me. I was told the same thing. I cannot tell you how long it will take. You can sit here and wait but it doesn't matter because we wont look at the car until this afternoon. So how come I'm here at 715??? I reminded him of our previous encounter and he just kept repeating himself like a mantra. I got in my car and left. Ford Mach E is stellar. Ford Fairfield customer service SUCKS. I will be driving out of the area to another Ford dealership and post if this is a systemic issue or a local one. I hope this post helps someone else. read more

I took my car in to be seen about a rattle noise in the strut assembly. I'd listened to the car for a month and tested the car for noise before turning it in. In addition, I'd been on several forums with other people who have my exact make, model, and year car having the same issue. I asked them to investigate using a noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) tool. After a week, I called in to get info about the progress. They told me they were taking apart my cargo area trying to identify the rattle. (There was no rattle there and they did nothing to the cargo area). They did not perform the test I had asked and did not check the strut assembly. Then I go in 3 days later because they said it was done. But when I showed up at the agreed upon time with the service rep, that we had been going back and forth on text about, the service rep and tech had taken their lunch. No one else offered to help me, so I had to come back later in the day (because we all have schedules and things we have to get done). Later that day, I found that they had done nothing to fix the rattle and the tech after riding with me agreed on my original suspicions. I left upset my car was still going to be unavailable to me. THEN they decided to close out my original request for service and open a new one for a "new" issue to make themselves look better to management and not have a car for so long on one one ticket. After that I asked for my car back, no further "work" to be done. When I finally got the car, took it home and washed all the white spots from their terrible car wash, I find that a brand new to the metal scratch is on the hood and tons of micro abrasions are on the right side (from their shitty car wash)!!! I will not be back for service, or to buy a car, EVER. Not only did they not fix my car, but handed my less than 4K miles brand new car back in WORSE condition! read more

Took my truck here to get fixed. The truck stayed in the shop for one week. I left a credit card in the glove compartment and my handicap placard. When I went to pick up the truck both were missing along with coins that I had in my glove compartment. I hadn't realized at first but after getting home I was notified my credit card had $1000 worth of charges around the area. I reached out to the ford manager and all he said was sorry and I shouldn't have left anything in the truck. I would think they would hold their employees more accountable and care for their customers especially when I spent $4300 at their location. Made an appointment for what they call quick lane. Simple oil change. I arrived in time for the appointment but was told to put car in line for no appointment (they have 2 lanes). A half hour AFTER my scheduled appointment time, car was still parked where I left it with 3 cars in front of me in the line. I asked for my keys back and will never return. Why do they offer scheduled appointments if they do not intend to honor the commitment. The chip shortage has caused a huge deficit on four-wheel-drive pick ups and the price has almost doubled in the last year. Last year I was contemplating trading by Ford F150 in for a new heavy duty pick up and I looked up the trade in value in the private party value which was around $6000. Today the same pick up would sell for $12,000. My son had an accident in my pick up, bent the frame, so we decided to buy another used one for him. Lucas helped me and was a Airon request. Lucas really tried to help me find an alternate vehicle since I felt that $30,000 for a 2014 used to pick was too much. I do understand that as a car salesman, they do a lot of stuff to sell their vehicles. But in this market, I have had so many sales people just say stuff like " this is what we have, this is the price, you either want it or you don't" Lucas didn't make me feel this way at all. read more

He was very informative and helpful and the next day(a Sunday) I was able to see, drive and purchase the car that I really really really wanted. The entire process was made incredibly smooth and even pleasant by Mark and other staff (Jonathan and the finance gentleman). The car needed some work that I requested and Mark, Jonathan and Kayla in Service worked very hard and made sure that I became a satisfied customer.
