I have two wonderful dogs I got from Tom two years apart. I wanted to buy two at my first visit,…read morebut Tom advised me that taking two puppies at once would make them difficult to train. He said that while I was away at work, the dogs would be deciding who would be leader of the pack, and that it would NOT be me. I really trust him for that. Tom has given me so much good advice as a new dog owner. He has spent his whole life around animals and puts much effort into best practices as a breeder. If you take the time to hear his philosophy, you will learn a lot and respect him as much as I do. This is not a puppy mill or a chain store. This is an older man on his farm trying to do right by the animals and the humans who take them home. Please do not judge him by the standards of the corporate world, this is not that kind of place. Trust the process and you will end up with just the right dog for your home.

Even though workers were busy stocking and cleaning I was greeted right away. The doggie cupcake was very soft a fresh. This location even adds a candle. Very cute. After we left I saw the employee cleaning off the enterance mat on her hands and knees with a sticky brush it looked like. Get the workers a long handled sticky roller brush. I've seen them before at a regular store. Very impressed by this location. We live 90 mins away. If we're back in the area we'll stop in.

There were aprons, shampoos and conditioners available. I wished there were pet brushes to massage in the shampoo as I've seen at other self serve facilities and I wished the temperature was a little warmer on the dryer but even without having those things, Bentley enjoyed his bath time. Overall, my experience was good and I'm sure I will be returning. The staff was helpful and friendly.

They will just not be open sometimes, like today, a sunny Sunday. We like being able to support our local independent pet store, but we can no longer rely on them for our dog's food because they just decide to sometimes not open on Sundays, a day they have listed as open, or open late. So we decided today we are just ordering dog food online from now on. This has happened too many times to us now. We need reliability, and we don't have it here, sadly.

Our new favorite pet store!…read more This store is so clean and super dog-friendly -- exactly what every pet parent hopes for. One of the workers even took the chew out of my hand and replaced it with one of better quality -- then kept swapping until we found the perfect one for my dog. Not all chews are the same, and they really took the time to help us get the one that looked the best. That kind of care is amazing and rare! The staff clearly loves dogs, and it really shows. We also used the pet wash stations -- clean, easy to use, and the store less busy than PetSmart. Great prices too. We'll definitely be back!
