Body By Robbie - Robbie greeting a client before their first session

Restorative Therapy is exactly as it sounds: restoring your body back to its proper form/function…read more Despite following Robbie's content online, I was unsure of what to make of this "manual" therapy. I walked in open-minded, wearing a wrist brace that was, at this point, ironically part of my problem rather than my solution. For transparency, I was asked to review this service and was gifted with three sessions to do so. From our initial point of contact to writing this review, my experience with Robbie has been nothing but attentive, explorative and truly rewarding. Knowing two people who train exclusively with Robbie (both of whom are known to have very high expectations AND the results to match), I naturally walked in as a believer, perceiving Robbie as a highly qualified, passionate and knowledgeable trainer. Still, Robbie has managed to EXCEED my expectations. To truly understand his holistic approach and what makes him special, you have to experience it for yourself. I'm now moving forward with his nutrition and personal training program, and I'm excited to be a paying customer lol. Worth it. After meeting with Robbie, you'll soon realize his giving nature as a healer, teacher, and artist. Robbie is very open when sharing his story, specifically why he does what he does, along with his approach from both a personal and professional level. If you're looking for someone to guide you through this process mentally, physically, and spiritually, I'm confident you'll find what you're looking for.

As a…read morefirst-time mom, she helped me not only physically prepare for birth, but also feel emotionally supported throughout the process. Her knowledge and guidance gave me so much confidence going into labor. Postpartum, what truly set her apart was how supportive and flexible she was in allowing my baby to come to sessions. She made everything feel easy and completely judgment-free--whether that meant pausing when my baby needed me, adapting exercises on the spot, or simply creating a space where I didn't have to choose between caring for my baby and caring for myself. She brings so much warmth, kindness, and calmness, especially in moments when anxiety crept in. Her steady presence made me feel safe, capable, and deeply supported during such a vulnerable season. I always left our sessions feeling more grounded, stronger, and empowered. I couldn't recommend her more highly to anyone preparing for birth or navigating the postpartum transition.

From prenatal and postpartum wellness to bodywork, mindfulness, and solid-as-hell nutrition guidance, she brings a deep level of knowledge and professionalism to the table. She's someone I'd 100% trust to refer out to, especially for anyone needing a more holistic and personalized approach. She blends education, experience, and real-life application in a way that's rare to find. You're definitely in good hands with her.

I signed up for personal training at what I understood was a flat rate. After learning about additional charges that were never explained to me when I signed up (80 dollar initial scan fee, 50 dollars a month for inbody scan, 3% processing charge, 80 dollar gym membership) I was very alarmed. I thought I was signing up for a flat rate of 640, but with the additional charges it ended up being 800 dollars a month - none of this was outlined in the contract I signed. When I asked him to send me the contract so I could verify the fees are not in the contract, he refused and said it was all explained verbally to me (which is 100% a lie and if it were true, it's unethical to charge customers based on 'verbal' agreements). He ended up not charging me for two months of the gym - which if it would have ended there I would have been completely fine and not feel the need to write this. I decided to complete my 3 month contract and after that I would not be able to financially support 800 a month and would no longer be signing up for additional months. When I informed Taylor I would be cancelling I received an e-mail with a notice of my cancellation and in the notes "Has been a pain in the a** since day 1" when I confronted him about this he said "oh it's just a jovial joke, you know", didn't apologize! and went on to belittle me saying I am the problem and he never has issues like this. I have never felt so disrespected and talked down to in my entire life. All I was trying to do was understand additional charges that were not in my contract nor communicated to me and instead of realizing there is a gap in his business model he shifts the blame to me "I've never had this problem with anyone but you". Just so disrespectful, I am extremely appalled. I would never ever recommend anyone doing business with Taylor. This is not how you treat someone paying you 800 dollars a month. And to anyone from the gym who is going to respond to this.... it isn't about the money, it's about being ethical with your contracts and how you treated me. Five stars for the gym, equipment, and my amazing trainer. Zero stars for the way they treat their customers.

As a self-proclaimed gym rat who enjoys training in multiple settings (group classes, personal…read moretrainers and on my own); Orangetheory Fitness is what I consider 'exercise heaven'. For me it's like working out with a personal trainer in a group setting. Orangetheory Fitness has been a part of my workout routine for the last ~5 years. I've been coming to this location since ~March 2024 and I am a huge fan of it. An Orangetheory workout is based on the five heart rate training zones with the goal being to spend at least 12 minutes in the Zone 4 (Orange) to ensure the best caloric burn. Each workout consists of time on the treadmill, rower and strength training. On top of these workouts, Orangetheory also offers a 'strength and resistance training' workout that involves very little cardio. On the flip side, they also offer a cardio only workout. Regardless of the workout chosen, it will be challenging and there will be a variety as the the workout changes daily. Note, it's okay if running is not your thing as there is a power walk option on the treadmill. And if that's not an option for you, there is also a bike and a strider available for use. In addition to the level of difficulty (i.e. the challenge) the key focus of an OTF workout are the heart-rate zones with goal being to spend 12 minutes or more in Zone 4 (uncomfortable) and Zone 5 (all-out effort) as one can. If you're like me and want to see how you're doing, OTF has several types of wearables that monitor heart-rate along with displaying your results on the screens inside the exercise room. While these are not required they are another tool to help manage progress. In the end, as the coaches remind us, while those zones are key the goal is to feel like you were challenged by the workout. Speaking of the coaches, the coaches at this location (hey Chantel, Carlee, Carly, Efren) are very friendly and super supportive. In each class, it's possible to have participants working on the treadmill, the rowers, and strength training all at the same time. As a coach, they must manage instructions for each group which I'm sure can be challenging. Add to that, if someone is new to Orangetheory (or even new to exercising), they require a little extra time and the coaching team here does an excellent job of managing it all. The coaches do an excellent job of creating a sense of community and do their best to get to know people on an individual level. They encourage you to do your best and when necessary challenge you to do more (they can tell when you're not giving it 100%). I appreciate that they give a lot of attention to form and ensuring exercises are performed correctly. This is often overlooked but is extremely important as it prevents injuries. And if that wasn't enough, they do an awesome job of keeping the workouts fun. Yes, I said it, FUN!!!! I cannot leave out the front desk staff; they are always very welcoming and do a great job of answering questions, assisting people with their accounts, providing wrist bands or chest straps and just overall handling the daily operations. A big kudos to them as they are the glue that makes this work. They do what they do which allows the coaches to focus on what they enjoy. Lastly, this location is well maintained. The exercise room is clean, and the equipment is always in in proper working order. There are also a couple of showers which are convenient if one wants to work out before the workday or during the lunch hour. If you're looking to energize your exercise routine (or start one), I highly recommend checking out this Orangetheory Fitness. The team will welcome you in with open arms and have you working up a sweat in no time. Be prepared to work hard and have fun doing it.

They treat the entire body at Vive and they truly feel the responsibility to not only train you, but to inform you. For a personal training gym, the community is incredibly special.
