    2 cuts in each ear

    1. My doggie (Shih Tzu) has 2 cuts inside each ear, which I noticed once at home. 2. Uneven, bad haircut. I sent 3 pics of what I wanted. Writing after a couple of days because I was very upset the day it happened. The groomer, Ms. Lux was very polite but she obviously lacks skills. I stood 20 min next as she tried to even out his hair and kept asking me what to do. I paid $85 and don't expect to explain something I don't know how to do it. If she kept cutting he would of been bold. I had to return to work as I picked him up during my lunch. I couldn't stay any longer and the haircut was beyond being able to be fixed. The owner was there and I wished she called me after I expressed my disappointment. I tried to call to tell her about the cuts, but was told she won't be there for several days. As a new customer, they should of tried to at least pretend and put me with someone more skilled the first time. I hope they read this and call me. My doggie is my baby and I don't want others hurt. acknowledgment by the establishment would shows empathy and professionalism. Thanks but no thanks for Pet's Sake!

    Luna did a great job with my golden doodle! They did exactly what I asked for. He has never been softer. Love that they didn't crate him also

    Jolie (my standard poodle puppy) has had two wonderful cuts from Hazel! The first cut was at 5 months and she gave her a teddy bear clip which looked great. The second cut was at 6.5 months and she gave her a Miami clip for the summer, which also looked great! Jolie gets excited to see Hazel, so that is a good thing. She's very good with handling puppies who are just getting used to having their faces, ears, and feet handled. I highly recommend Hazel! The first time I took Jolie to get groomed here another gal did her and charged $75 for just a shampoo! She said my then 3-month old puppy was too stressed out to get clean feet, ears plucked, and clean face. That was disappointing since I could've saved $75 and given her a bath on my own. I'm glad a neighbor friend recommended Hazel since she'd done a great job on her standard poodle. Hazel is amazing!!

    Please do not take your yorkie here. I asked for a yorkie face and this is the dog they returned to me. Her haircut is jagged as if they used the dullest scissors they owned. I cannot wait for this terrible cut to grow out. $80 wasted.

    Walked in and they took my cat right away! It was his first time at a groomer and he was terrified to say the least but they allowed us to come in the back with him while he got his cut and let us hold him and pet him while he was groomed. He did great and hasn't stopped purring since his haircut.

    I was in a pinch because my usual groomer was booked up until February and my Doodle needed a full bath and cut ASAP. So a fellow dog owner that we met at the dog park recommended Lee at For Pets' Sake. Overall she did a wonderful job, and my Doodle looks fabulous. The staff was very helpful, kind, and quick to answer questions. They are a bit pricey but honestly it's all about the size, breed, and what your need is that will ultimately determine the cost. It's nice to know that I can now have a back up groomer when my go-to person is too booked up. I highly recommend Lee and this shop.

    They follow instructions and take good care of my Bichapoo puppy. Very pleased with how they demonstrate a real interest in his wellness. He has some separation anxiety but they know how to make him comfortable. Hazel does a great job maintaining that soft Teddy Bear look!

    Awesome staff and very clean facility. Celma does an amazing job of grooming our Standard Poodle, Piper.

    We been going here for nearly 9 years even after moving to Sterling! It takes me about 45 minutes each way. I wouldn't want to change since they are so comfortable and well taken care by Lee.

She scheduled the appointment pointing out that she wanted the complimentary service (see photo) and when I picked her up they told me it was roughly $125. I told them I had a free service and they saw that in the system but that's not what they did. I overheard the lady behind the counter whisper that we were willing to pay the difference even though it is their fault . At that point I was unwilling to pay but my partner was at work and had already paid the entire amount online so that I did not have to have any issues. They reached out to the owner and we were assured that she would reach out to us and fix it. My partner reached out to Jodi (the owner) and she did not respond. This was in February and it is now May. I waited to post this in hope that I wouldn't have to because they would make it right. I understand that the groomer needs to be paid because the work was completed but their mistake shouldn't have been my problem. Oh I forgot to mention how we came about the complimentary service. The original cut was HORRENDOUS (see photo) my partner wrote a review about it and they offered us a complimentary bath and tidy to take it down. She agreed and removed the review(shady). All I want is my partner's money back. This review did not need to be posted but I hate that fact that we were taken advantage of by this business.

We had such a horrible experience and feel a tremendous amount of guilt for trusting that they would take care of our cat. After a short stay, our healthy 1-year old cat was returned to us lethargic and clearly traumatized, with serious episodes of vomiting and diarrhea that ended up in a $2,500 vet hospital stay. A quick business trip turned into an ungodly expense. We were promised an update during his stay as well as a "Pawgresss Report" when we picked him up, but received neither, likely because he wasn't adjusting well and it was easier for them to keep that from us. They didn't even do a basic medical check when we dropped him off, which again was supposed to happen according to their website. I reached out to the hotel manager, Arden, once he was admitted to the vet hospital two days after his stay, and described our experience. She "seemed" very sympathetic and assured me that an incident report would be filed and that someone would get back to me ASAP. Well, here it is 4 days later and I still haven't heard from anyone; I would have thought that they would want, at the very least, an update on his diagnosis/condition to prevent an outbreak at their facility. Nope. Clearly, what they say and what they actually do are at odds. Don't be like me and get caught up in the flowery language used on their website to describe their facility and services; it's all disingenuous, if not patently false. I fear our poor cat will never get over the trauma of his visit at the PetsHotel on Richmond Highway in Alexandria, Virginia
