I returned today, a week later for a gentle microdermabrasion facial I booked with Christie and was serviced right on time. The spa rooms are in the back of the salon and the area is separated by a lace curtain. Once in the facial room, it felt like any other spa, not like a strip mall nail salon. Christie was professional, and excellent in providing the service. The added bonus of the shoulder, back and décolleté massage while the collagen mask baked was A+. I did need minor extraction and she was able to do them without using any tools. If I were a local, this would be my primary salon for nail and body care. Thank you Ellie and Christine! --four stars because the pedicure service has a few issues. Communication with the tech was a bit off-putting. She has wasn't able to explain the spa pedicure options and wasn't able to tell me in detail what each included. She kept referring me to posters on the wall. They weren't helpful as the listed a service yet provided no explanation as to what was included in the service. Going to try again next week, and request Ellie as my pedicures. I'm sure I'll have a better outcome.

I'll have to call in advance and make sure Sona is available from now onwards!! It's been a challenge to find a good, affordable and trust-worthy salon since I moved to NJ a little over a year ago. Until I found this gem-albeit further from home than I would have preferred. I still choose to go here. The lady that does my eyebrows is quick and she listens to what I want, instead of just doing a standard job. The facials are super relaxing and really make a difference to my skin. And I finally gathered up the courage to let Jenny cut my hair and boy, am I glad I did! I absolutely love it. I told her what I needed from the cut, and then gave her freedom to do what she needed. She told me she has many years of experience under her belt and it definitely shows in her professionalism and demeanor. Being a Tuesday afternoon, it was not busy at all. I walked in 15min before my appointment and was seen right away and done under 1 hour. The facility is very clean and I noticed they do a great job with keeping up with hygiene. I had a detox pedicure full set of acrylic nails with gel polish and an eyebrow wax. My husband got a detox pedicure and a manicure. We were in and out in 2 hours and it cost only $200. We have paid far more in other salons and spent more time for services nowhere near as good as what we recieved here.
