I love this For eyes! I have been here for my eye exam and both the staff and doctor are so kind and well knowledgeable. I was contacted to confirm my appointment and even after almost getting there late they were very flexible and understanding. I would recommend this location 100% read more

The staff at this location is wonderful. It looks like the management needs improvement. I am here on a Saturday afternoon at 1:00 pm and there are multiple customers and only one employee. She is doing all she can but they are severely under staffed. I tried calling before arriving and no one answered the phone. Now I understand why. For Eyes needs to do better!!! Stop being so cheap and hire staff. read more

The staff was very friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend! They were very helpful and the whole process was quick. Very convenient read more

Made an appointment for an eye exam, Dr Yang was nice, attentive, and informative throughout the entire process. I wish the machines you place your face on had the tissue lining papers like most optometry offices I've been to but the Doctor wiped the equipment with alcohol immediately before I used them. The staff in the retail section of the store were very friendly and informative. They assisted me with finding out what benefits I had with my insurance and were upfront about processing times and pricing before charging me. Good variety of frames and I loved the designer 50% off section! They could use more than two reps working at a time, it got busy but they did their best and remained friendly and attentive. Thank you Michelle and Enchante! I can't wait to pick up my new eyeglasses! read more

I made an appointment for my annual eye exam online for a Saturday in September at the Hollywood Blvd. location. I was told when I got there that the doctor does not see patients at that location on Saturday, and that it must have been a computer glitch that allowed me to make this appointment online. I rescheduled the appointment in person for November 4 at 9:20 am at the same location. Today, I received an email that said my appointment was at 5:40 pm. I called and was told that the doctor does not see patients that early in the morning. Unacceptable to change a patient's appointment without a courtesy call. The doctor keeps changing her schedule and protocol. read more

They were friendly, but they didn't correct my vision? I thought the point of glasses was to see better. The optometrist didn't give a flying fuck if I was seeing with double vision as long as I could read the test. Like fix my fucking vision you bitch. read more

I paid for my glasses 11-14 and I was told I was going to receive my glasses 7-10 business days later. Take in consideration they are open on Saturdays... I would call once every few days after seven days... I did business with a lady named Gina and was told that she went to another store but when I went to the store it seemed like she was still working there. It could be possible I was given a fake name over the phone.. it's 11-24 and I'm being told I have to wait till the 11-28 to receive my glasses that I paid for already... I received a email that my glasses were ready 11-21 but they are not... I don't appreciate the fact I came on the day of a Black Friday sale not knowingly, to check if my glasses came in and they did not even tell me about there promotion "buy a frame and receive free lenses and a free eye exam" I feel like the employees are not reputable!!! I am furious considering I paid out of pocket... read more

For Eyes - Email saying my glasses were done and I still did not receive them - Eyewear & Opticians Near Me - Hollywood, Florida

Getting ready for school includes an annual eye check. We have been going to For Eyes for a number about years and we really like the new office that they moved into about 2 years ago. Today, we asked about contacts and the team was so friendly. Being the first time my daughter was going to try contacts she was nervous to put them in hers eye. Mani walked her through it step by step and she was successful putting them in and taking them out the first time. Dr. Bauer has so patience while working with us. Thank you. read more

This is not a good place. Both my husband and I got our prescription glasses here last year and both felt the glasses weren't right. So we took them back and asked them to re-make the prescription using the pair of glasses that we already owned, rather than matching the prescription from the exam we did at For Eyes. In theory they did this, we picked them up and they still didn't feel right, but we were silly and kept them like that. Neither of us have used our new pair of glasses this past year, because they don't feel right. This year I found another oftalmologist for my eye checkup, and I took the glasses I got done at For Eyes to get them checked. In fact, the glasses are not right. On one of the eyes, the prescription is over-corrected. It was a real waste of money to get two pairs of glasses there last year. It was also a bad experience while we were there, because we went there due to a sale they had going on. When we went in we asked if the sale applied to all the glasses and they said yes. After spending time picking our glasses, neither of the ones we had picked were part of the sale. In fact, a whole section of glasses were not part of the sale. Needless to say, were not coming back, and I don't write many reviews, but I felt it was my responsibility to let others know about our bad experience. read more

I went there to get prescription lenses mounted on my sunglasses and I got extremely disappointed. I chose the G15 color from their samples and the sunglasses came nowhere close to that color that was even lighter! I asked them to redo the job and I waited over 2 months to get the same poor results if not even worst! Eventually I decided to keep the glasses as they were made but I will definitely not return. read more

I stlll can't see out of their glasses close, middle distance or far. Only items with very bright lights behind them like computer screens. No street signs. I was supposed to get bifocals, but didn't receive them. My cross stitching is only possible without wearing the glasses. Keep far away. read more

Had a great experience with the team at the store on Hollywood Boulevard,I first met Dianna and she and the rest of the staff were really nice and responded to my needs and I would definitely recommend this store! read more

If you like one of the frames there I recommend to look for that model online. It may be halve the price. Because they sell older models sometimes for the price of the new ones. A t least we overpaid about 100$. The service is slow and not very professional. The lady in Dior glasses specifically. read more

Terrible place. The attitude of the people working there is horrible. Not sure how a doctor with good review has these assistance.

New employees. It was way nicer to do business. I was in and out quickly and efficiently. The manager I believe her name is Jasmine was super. read more

I came in for two reasons, sudden eye pain and my yearly exam . First off. It was a virtual exam I was not permitted to ask any questions to the Dr .!! So I asked the Patient Coordinator if we can ask the Dr! He said oh whats your question!! I said I have eye pain ! He said oh just rinse your eye !! I asked to please give me details on my exam ! He said it's fine !! When I expressed that I was not satisfied with the service to the gentleman checking me out, another gentleman Jorge jumped in the conversation! He was on his phone watching videos prior to me coming to the counter , so he had no idea what was going on.!! He proceeded to say ohh well you should have told the coordinator, mind you he was standing right behind him !!! I told him I did then he said well then you probably have old glasses which is why your eye hurts!! Basically ASSUMPTIONS !! No help !!! Did not attempt to even sell me any frames !!! I was so upset !! Took like 15-20 minutes just to pay $10.00 I WILL BE GOING SOMEWHERE ELSE TO REPEAT THE EYE EXAM AND WILL HAVE TO PAY OUT OF POCKET !!! Since they used my Insurance !!!! read more

Ive been to many places for glasses an have always had a displeasing experience it's always the longest waits and just such a dragged out experience. So when it came to it this time I went to the foreyes in Hollywood and was help me a gentlemen by the name of Rafael. Rafael helped me give me option and input on what complimented my face and recommended different frames for different use. He asked me question like what will my frames be used for more, what do I expect from me seeing glasses. Rafael also taught me about anti glare lenses and transition lenses and what they are capable of doing for me. All in all Rafael was very informative and actually did not drag out the process I asked a question he answered it. I recommend this location and I really recommend Rafael services he will help you out with all your glasses needs. Thank you, Miguel read more

The manager at this place, Andrew, has no idea what he's doing. Really disrespectful and doesn't use his common sense or have any problem-solving skills of his own. He answers your questions defensively and shouldn't be in a management position. I would never return to this place or recommend anybody going there because of the nightmare experience I had with this guy specifically and their entire process. There's no communication at that office. read more

I had an appointment at 10:30 on July 8th and arrived slightly early. From the moment I arrived at the store the employees started to take of me, each one doing his or her task at the time. I never had to wait for anything or be idle at any moment. Saul, Enchante and Ms. Yamin are a delight to deal with and very professional and obviously knowledgeable of what their purpose and art is. I must say something of the manager, Diana Cadaud, who, with her attentive eye and respectful and discreet directives to each one of her crew , always noticed immediately what could be done so that no time was wasted while another employee involved in the process was preparing for taking care of me by fulfilling his or her own duties. I have rarely seen a more efficient crew cooperating with one another and working together so seamlessly. It deserves to be commended and celebrated. That is a great store! Thank you and please extend my renewed thanks all of them. read more

Wow experience ! I walked in and had an eye exam same day. Doctor was great. Bought two pairs of glasses and they fixed my old pair at no extra cost. Awesome, all my eye wear was 100%. . The doctor was so good I couldn't ask for more I went 3 times she wanted to make sure I had the correct contacts for my eyes and the gentleman help me pick out the perfect pair of frames for glasses to I'm very very happy read more

Shortly after my annual eye exam my new pair of frames broke. I decided to give For Eyes a try since my Optometrist had a very limited selection. Not to mention the pair they provided me with, broke shortly after...The girls here were soooo beyond professional. I was impressed with how much they really knew their stuff. The woman who helped me went above and beyond to explain everything to me (even more than my previous Optometrist). The selection was huge and the pricing was decent. They gave me a nice discount after they heard what I had gone through with my previous pair and eye DR, specially since this was my 2nd pair in just 2 months. That was appreciated. Moving forward I will be coming back to this location. The hours here are also great. I am definitely pleased. read more

Made an appointment today and was taken in on time. The doctor was friendly and Alison helped me pick out frames because I'm super indecisive lol. All the girls were super friendly and I was in and out pretty quickly. Thanks! read more

So my sister urgently needs her glasses and when we went there to pick them up, first they told us that the glasses didn't have the right formula, minutes later they told us the truth: the frames were broken. Now my sister has to keep waiting for her glasses because of their bad service? (Around 5 days) They do not take care of their glasses? And they had to wait until today to realize the flames were broken? HORRIBLE service. Won't go back to this place again. read more

i do not think i have ever left a business as upset as i did last week after being treated terribly. please do not go to this overpriced store just go to target or walmart or even costco.. its a rip off anyways the manager there, a heavy set woman, broke my sunglasses after i asked her to fix them so, i had a special pair of prescription rayban that i sat on and bent the arms i could of easily fixed them myself with two pairs of pliers at home since it was only the metal near the hinge. but i figured, let them use a vise and they have special tools there and can do it right without breaking them. i clearly asked told the manager how special these were to me and that i was going to do it myself but i knew they have special tools and experience and she was busy with a customer and i said, take your time, she said that it could break, and honestly, if she listened and did it how i asked, and they broke i would of been ok with it. so i turned my head and 30 seconds later she says to me sorry they broke. i said. you cant be serious? she told me she had held the plastic arm and just twisted it to bend the metal back. big surprise, the plastic snapped off.. she did exactly what i said not to do. because she was rushing and did not listen. i said, that my 3 year old could of tried that way to fix it and that it was unacceptable. if she was going to try to fix it that way i would of just done it carefully with tools myself and probably would of succeeded. she said that they are not responsible when glasses break and that she was now busy with other customers and there was nothing at all she could do. its not even the cost of replacing these, they really meant a lot to me, i treasured them as i bought them with my fiance and promised to care for them as they remind me of her every day. this manager made tree mistakes, first not listening, if she did she would of used tools and not try to bend metal with plastic that is glued to the metal. second, she rushed. and worse of all is that she did not even have the dignity to admit she rushed and did not listen. please people, dont go there and have to deal with a person that is so rude and careless . thank you. read more

I needed a new pair of glasses and had used For Eyes in the past in another city. Laura, the assistant manager took care of me and was professional, friendly, and extremely helpful. I have been to other optical businesses over the years and many of them try to push products that aren't necessary. This wasn't the case with Laura. Her practical advice was appreciated and she was very respectful of expenses! I highly recommend For Eyes on Hollywood Blvd.! read more

This place is terrific -- I came in last week for an unscheduled repair of a loose fitting on my prescription wireless lens/ frames that I had purchased out-of-state from another company. The gentleman tending to the store immediately looked at the glasses and promptly was able to perform a minor procedure to restore the fitting. To top it off, he ask for no payment, I gave him a small payment non-the-less (sort of as a $5 tip) and walked away very satisfied and feeling some sense that not all establishments are their to "hose" you. KUDO's. I know the store manager is named Cary, but am not sure this man was him. if not Cary needs to recognize this person for his great work and customer service. You've earned my future business! read more

You get what you pay for and even less. Lesson learned. I have gone to for eyes in the past but this one is just plain shady. The people there do not know how to adjust glasses and messed up my frames. I asked for a refund. The manager stated that they do not give refunds despite the fact that there are no signs of that anywhere. then they offered to put the newer lenses into a new frame in 1 day that she would have shipped through 1 day delivery. They did so and I left. Or so I thought. Then they called me 2 weeks later stating that glasses with my name, DOB, phone, address were waiting for me. I suppose that because I had gotten the glasses protection plan the manager simply took off the display frames and put my lenses in them and then ordered new glasses under my name to put the frames in the display. To me this was simply unbelievable and highly dishonest. I do not recommend this location. Very poor business practices going on here. Be cautious. read more
