They were willing to take my girlfriend right away, but there was no ophthalmologist or Eye Specialist on duty. My girlfriend was very upset wanted an eye doctor, we looked online to see if there were any local doctors who could take her right away. We were so lucky to find Dr. Smith, who was kind enough to fit her in and take us on a late Friday afternoon. Not only did he find the eye not to be infected, it was an inflammation on the inside. That probably would have been misdiagnosed anywhere else . He has a really new nice office in a new building, its all set back from itself and other offices it also has a parking garage and room to park a car . I will say he is really nice guy and patient friendly, along with being accommodating, he answered all the questions we asked and made us feel very comfortable, but most of all..prescribed the right medicine, gave us a few options for future, & my girlfriends inflammation is almost gone.     I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding my recent visit to your office and to request a…read morerefund for services that were not disclosed to me in advance. Three weeks ago, I had a full eye examination with Dr. Wise, an ophthalmologist (MD) in Florida. Since I have worn glasses since high school, all I needed at this visit was a new prescription after losing my glasses. Last year, I also had a full exam at LensCrafters in Aventura, where the front desk clearly explained all costs and insurance coverage before my appointment. That visit was handled transparently and professionally. At MyEyeDr, however, the front desk did not explain what my insurance would or would not cover. During my appointment, a technician took retinal images without informing me that this would result in a $44 charge. I should have been told in advance and given the choice to decline. In addition, I was charged $140 for a contact lens fitting that was never discussed with me beforehand. The optometrist attempted multifocal lenses, which did not work for me. I was the one who had to suggest the lens setup I normally use (one lens for distance), and only then did he agree it would work. This left me feeling the fitting was unnecessary and not worth the fee. At checkout, I was presented with a bill of $640 that included these undisclosed charges. I was not prepared for such an amount and chose not to proceed with the purchase. The interaction with the sales associate afterward was uncomfortable and unprofessional. Because I was not informed of these additional services or fees beforehand, I am requesting a refund of the $44 retinal image fee and the $140 contact lens fitting fee. I believe this is a fair resolution given the lack of transparency and communication at my appointment. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. I visited the office about 6 months ago. I was interested in making minor eye lid adjustment and the doctor was a great salesman in making me feel comfortable and signing up for additional services which I don't really need. In order to schedule a firm date for the procedure I was asked to pay 100% upfront which I did. Once I got home my wife told me that I overpaid - I guess everyone negotiates but I was unaware of this. Oh well. I liked the doctor and he did have 5 stars . My schedule is extremely busy however and I was told that if I need to as long as I provide a reasonable notice I can change my procedure date. As it happened I did have to do just that twice. The second time however things went down hill rather quickly. Even though I apologized and gave reasonable notice I was treated extremely poorly as if they were doing me a favor by providing the procedure I paid for. After I had enough of their condescending language I told them I am done with the drama and they can either rebook me or refund my monies since absolutely no work has been done. Instead I was told that they will refund my money minus penalties and various fees. This in my opinion is a behavior of fraudsters and rogues not medical professionals. Therefore I plan on seeing you in court. I assume I am not the only one that has been mistreated by these rascals. Therefore I welcome others to reach out and join my cause. I am happy to foot the bill for what I consider a righteous cause. Doctors need to hold themselves to a higher standard then just how to make a quick buck. My email is rhe same as my name @gmail.com. Meanwhile I will have my staff file official complaints with the following departments: 1. Florida Department of Health (DOH): They oversee healthcare practitioners in Florida. You can file a complaint through their Consumer Services Unit. 2. Florida Attorney General's Office: For issues related to consumer protection, such as potential fraudulent practices, you can submit a complaint to the Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division. 3. American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS): If the surgeon is a member, you can report ethical concerns to the ASPS Ethics Committee.

He said it required 3 surgeries out in Davie. I went to a top plastic surgeon and had the filler removed in 3 minutes and the charge was $300. This con man right now is under 3 investigations. He is advertising on Tik Tok. How unprofessional. He must be slow and desperate. Save your money and run to a top plastic surgeon.

I am in agreement there is a problem w/members of the staff (they are the front line -they are good at what they do however a little refresher in public/patient relations is in order) that's when one takes ownership and asks for the doctor call you back direct. Let's remember quality vs quantity. Dr. Braverman is excellent in his field. As he does have ancillary employees, it's a sign of his quality and teachings. Bravo-Dr. Braverman, you have saved his eye again. Their staff can definitely use some training on how to treat patients, or even use new staff. It's not right to have an appointment scheduled for so long, then call the patient on the same day an hour before their appointment (after they've rearranged their whole day) to cancel their appointment because they made a mistake! And it's not the first time it happened. They make too many mistakes! One of the girls is too busy on the computer online shopping instead of tending to the patients and she gets REALLY loud with all patients, embarrasses them in front of everyone. Just plain rude, nasty! Definitely do not recommend going here, EVER!
