So we did a few errands in the plaza and came back. They were done in probably 25 minutes. Super easy experience. I wish my experience with getting the eye exam at the Galleria Mall location went this smoothly.

True story......woke up one morning and couldn't see out of both eyes Almost 95% BLIND!!!! Frightening to say the least, but I waited for about 2 weeks before I sought out professional medical help after realizing my eye issues weren't allergy related. I'm a snow bird from Germany and new to the area and couldn't believe my luck when Siri from Google recommended, Dr Dawn Bearden on S. Federal Highway as the local neighborhood optometrist. Thank you Siri, I will be forever grateful for your guidance through my darkest hours. When I called Dr Bearden @ Fort Lauderdale Eye Wear & Eye Care I was greeted by such a friendly receptionist that helped me get a same day appointment with Dr Dawn. When I arrived I couldn't have been treated with more care. After numerous tests Dr Dawn Bearden was able to competently diagnose me with Posterior uveitis - a rare disease often associated with systemic diseases and infections. Posterior Uveitis isn't common, luckily Dr Bearden identified my needs and recommended a referral to a Uveitis specialist. Dr. Bearden is amazing and I have total trust in her. Extremely thorough, spends as much time with you as you need, and cares about you as if you are her only patient. For weeks afterwards, Dr Bearden continued to check up on me and the progress of my health. Thank you Dr Dawn for helping me through this nightmare. xxx

According to them there's nothing wrong, but there's no reason they should be giving me a headache or eye strain if they're the correct rx. They won't offer to fix it either, they'll just insist they did nothing wrong. Don't recommend them at all.

He uses cutting edge technology to see what possible underlying diseases and abnormalities you may have with your eyes. I have never had an eye exam with that amount of information and detail. I never expected him to pull out an iPad with a series of eye maps revealing wavelength detection, full visual field mapping, and more. It even had graphs showing my percentile eye performance in different categories! Definitely very top tier material. I'd recommend him for anyone with serious visual concerns and multiple comorbidies (diabetes, hypertension) this would definitely be one of the places I would turn to first. Even though I have some pretty healthy eyes, and the use of up-to-date tech is great, what I really liked was the results. Apparently I had a slight prism defect, which was where one eye was slightly higher than the other. He asked, do you get car sick or seasick? And I said yes! How did you know? I suffer on long boat rides quite often. Apparently this can be one of those causes. I've been seasick all my life, so this is not a new development but he's the first one to find it. Every inch (or micrometer on this case) counts, so for me all the tech and talent of Dr. Radzwill led to very tangible results. I'd come here again for an eye exam and highly recommend Dr. Radzwill. They gave me a trial pair in July that weren't even the correct prescription and the gentleman working there said "it's not the same but it shouldn't be that big of a difference". Calls to them lead you nowhere. Next step will be filing with my insurance company for fraudulent billing and also my credit card company.
