The optometrist is nice enough but I had my visit on June 13 and here we are September 28, and I still HAVE NOT received my contact lenses. They gave me a trial pair in July that weren't even the correct prescription and the gentleman working there said "it's not the same but it shouldn't be that big of a difference". Calls to them lead you nowhere. Next step will be filing with my insurance company for fraudulent billing and also my credit card company. read more

I have been coming here for a few years now. I have always been able to make an appointment with a relatively short lead time- most recently I was able to make an appointment for the next day. Dr. Radzwill is super nice and very knowledgeable. I had a different optometrist on my recent visit, I can't remember her name, but she was super nice as well! Extremely upset. I took off work around everything with COVID just to come in for the appointment I scheduled 2 weeks ago. I had to ask for advanced notice to get off and made accommodations for my entire week to make this possible. I had recieved a text 24 hours in advance confirming. Then I arrive and they refused to see me. They had called me an hour before my appointment to tell me the doctor couldn't see me but of course I was on my way there not looking at my phone. They were very unhelpful completely unprofessional and made me feel like it was my fault!!!!! Never go here. read more

Like most eyeglass wearers, I've had more than my fair share of eye exams. But Dr. Radzwill is definitely the best I have seen so far. He uses cutting edge technology to see what possible underlying diseases and abnormalities you may have with your eyes. I have never had an eye exam with that amount of information and detail. I never expected him to pull out an iPad with a series of eye maps revealing wavelength detection, full visual field mapping, and more. It even had graphs showing my percentile eye performance in different categories! Definitely very top tier material. I'd recommend him for anyone with serious visual concerns and multiple comorbidies (diabetes, hypertension) this would definitely be one of the places I would turn to first. Even though I have some pretty healthy eyes, and the use of up-to-date tech is great, what I really liked was the results. Apparently I had a slight prism defect, which was where one eye was slightly higher than the other. He asked, do you get car sick or seasick? And I said yes! How did you know? I suffer on long boat rides quite often. Apparently this can be one of those causes. I've been seasick all my life, so this is not a new development but he's the first one to find it. Every inch (or micrometer on this case) counts, so for me all the tech and talent of Dr. Radzwill led to very tangible results. I'd come here again for an eye exam and highly recommend Dr. Radzwill. He is a top tier optometrist with an excellent bedside manner. He made me feel comfortable from start to finish, and I felt very comfortable under his care If you're a big fan of tech and science like I am, it's worth the trek just to see your eyes charted out using every statistic and visual graph possible. I had a horrible experience with Dr. Radzwill. Before visiting his office, I called to make sure he accepted my health insurance, which he did. The eye exam was very thorough, he increased my contact lens prescription and recommended I try the lenses out for a few weeks see how I like them, and then we can place the order. Perfect. I go to my bill, which should be $25-$50 based on my co-pay and it was $250! I have no idea how they got that price. They even tried to show me that I got a discount because of my insurance. Some discount. They refused to go line-by-line with me over the statement and explain the exorbitant price. Two weeks pass. I am unhappy with these trial lenses. They are uncomfortable and feel too strong and are giving me headaches. I return to the office and try new lenses. Two weeks pass, these lenses feel better but still too strong. I was told my eyes will just get used to it and the headaches will go away. Regarding eye care, I always practice the rule of thumb that it is better to go weaker than stronger, because you can't go back. Fast forward a year. I go to a wonderful new doctor in Boca Raton who is out of the way, but came recommended to me by my family. He could not believe the prescription of the lenses and was able to weaken my prescription. My headaches have gone away. I do not recommend Dr. Radzwill. He is a rip-off who will give you too strong glasses. read more

I came here last year, made my appt, got my exam, got my prescription for contacts, got some samples, and was told that the office would call me for a follow up and then I could purchase from them whichever contacts I thought were better from the samples they gave me. I waited for the follow up and it never came, so I bought my contacts somewhere else. Guess they don't want me to purchase from them, no big deal. Had an appt today, walked in behind a lady. An associate walked up and greeted her. I started to walk around them to go towards the optometry office and talk to the lady there, but before I got there the associate who greeted the lady I walked in behind passed that customer off to her and goes and helps someone else. So now I wait. While waiting, the doctor comes out with a patient who just finished her exam and now she's waiting as well. The lady everyone is waiting for finished with the lady I walked in behind, then helps a lady who was already sitting down, okay fine, she was obviously there before me. Another guy comes up and leans on the counter waiting to be helped, now there's 3 of us waiting. The lady behind the counter then helps the lady who just finished her exam... umm, okay. The associate who helped the lady that I walked in behind came back to the counter and starts to help the guy leaning on it. I consider myself to be a patient person, but I have not been acknowledged with a hello or eye contact, so at this point, I just leave. Then as I'm driving off, I get a call from them asking if I'm on my way to my appt HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I tell her my experience, say "thank you", *click* In short, the dr is competent, but if you want crappy customer service on top of that, this is the place for you! read more

The best experience I have ever had with an optometrist. Dr. Radzwill and his entire staff were polite and were very knowledgeable. My experience with the Doctor proved to be a great experience. He is very professional and yet, he has a welcoming manner that made me feel comfortable at the start. Highly recommend Dr. Eric and his office. I've been going to him for several years -- always extremely pleased with service, Dr. Eric always takes time to answer questions and provide great guidance on my eye care. Staff is really helpful too -- you'll get appointment reminders by email and really helpful at navigating insurance bureaucracy (pre-approvals, etc). I've worn glasses for corrective vision since I was 4 years old -- Dr. Eric has, without a doubt, provided me with the best eye care ever. P.S. He's not paying me to write this review, lol! I had to walk in on a Sunday due to what I thought was an emergent issue with my eye. He saw me within 40 minutes, examined me, prescribed medicine, and I was out of there. His "bedside manner" evinces care and concern. I am in the military, and unfortunately he doesn't take my insurance, so I had to pay out of pocket. But the rate was reasonable, and his office followed up to ensure my condition was improving, then he personally followed up twice and offered to see me gratis if things got worse. As an aside, my wife & two kids see him for thier eye care too, and like him alot. I highly recommend him. read more

I have been going to Lens Crafters in the Galleria Mall, Fort Lauderdale for over 3 years. I had an appointment on July 28, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. I arrived at 12:50 p.m. There were 4 associates on staff that day....2 of which were standing at the front entrance to the facility talking to each other and 1 sitting looking at his laptop. I was asked to sit in the waiting area with a "walk-in". Marilynn, was prepping a patient and told me that it would a couple of minutes and thanked me for being patient. I asked the guy looking at his laptop if I could have some water....he pointed at the refrigerator so I could retrieve it myself. His customer service was less than 0. I started to look at some frames when Marilynn took the "walk-in" for prepping. I told her that I had not anticipated waiting for a long time and that there were two other people ahead of me....meaning the walk-in took my appointment. I didn't make a huge deal about it as I did not want a scene. I told Marilynn that I would reschedule for another date. As I am rescheduling another person came in and stood at the front counter waiting for assistance. The 2 associates up front at the entrance did nothing to help him, nor did the guy looking at his laptop. Marilynn assisted him as well, which took away from her assisting me. I rescheduled for August 18, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with the assurance from Marilynn that I would be first in line when I came in. I like both doctors, who have always been nice and professional. The staff sucks and their professionalism in assisting customers is again less than 0. Marilynn had a lot on her plate....answering the phone, assisting one associate who didn't want to speak with a particular customer on the phone regarding their lens' and just plain running the front office. I would have given Marilynn a 5 star had she not given my appointment to a "walk-in". I had no plans on going to the Mall, but I had made an appointment. It was a total waist of my time to drive there only to have my appointment given to someone else. No excuses for the lack of consideration that was given to me. Question: Do the videos ever get checked for quality of service given to customers? If not, there should be. Also, if Marilynn is going to do the jobs of 4 people, then she should be paid. Also, my co-worker was going to the same location, but stopped going due to customer service. This particular location is convenient for me, but if customer service does not change at that particular location, I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

I've frequented multiple LensCrafters in my lifetime...but Dr. Radzwill is by far the best optician I've seen to date. I was able to call in the morning and get an afternoon appt to see him. Doctor seems competent enough, yet if $$$ is a concern I would find another. I was charged $240 for a routine eye exam. She had some special equipment to study the eye in-depth, but in the absence of any problems on my part I would say this was excessive. if you do go, make sure you understand the cost of each procedure she does so you won't be surprised at the end as I was. read more
