Went into the All Eyes Optical for the first time while I was in the area to obtain a new prescription from the optometrist. Met with the store rep Juan who was very professional and explained that the optometrist is at another location today but works in-store Mon, Thurs and Sat. My vision insurance covers most optometrist consults and exams in addition to a big portion of the frames and lenses. Juan showed me several sunglasses including Oakley for $250.00 before insurance. Ray-Ban would be a close second to Oakley. The store is very classy with dark wood finishes and glass. A few low tables for sitting with the rep for comfortable discussions and glasses fittings. read more

Dr. Guario is the BEST optometrist I have ever worked with. He is very friendly and thorough, and his work and dedication gave me a new lease on life. When I think about the vision I had before he worked with me compared to now, I am supremely thankful! His office staff is top notch! He does talk a lot, but he is invested in his patients. If you'd prefer that he be quieter, just let him know. We have had some great conversations and he has gotten me out of quite a few jams when I've had issues with my contacts. He strives for perfection in every consultation. I personally don't ever want to work with another doctor. He is the best and I am very grateful. read more

This was my second visit to Dr. Guario, and unfortunately, it was not a good experience. He talks excessively and often asks random, intrusive questions that made me feel very uncomfortable. At one point, he said, "Oh, you have insurance now," to which I explained that I've always had insurance--I just didn't use it last time because it only covers one provider, and he was my second option. He then said, "Today is only going to be $10. Now sit in the other chair." He took a photo and repeated, "You're lucky it's only $10." It felt like he was more focused on money than patient care. However, when I went to the front desk to pay, I was told the total was $50. I was shocked--apparently, the picture he took cost $40, but that charge was never mentioned ahead of time. I was completely caught off guard. Seeing how upset I was, my friend offered to cover the cost. Honestly, if my friend hadn't stepped in, I might have ended up calling the police. I really dislike confrontations, so I just thanked my friend and left. And the Doctor coversation did not seem cool. I would talk about the whole conversation I had with the doctor but this will be an even longer review. Sad excuse of a doctor. I will not be returning!!!!! If you're looking for strange, uncomfortable conversations and surprise charges, then this might be the place for you. Without insurance, expect to pay over $200. Even with insurance, you might still end up being overcharged. Total rip-off!!! read more

Dr Guario and his team are the absolute best! They are very caring and helpful. They have a very nice selection of glasses and sunglasses too. Had a terrible experience at Bascom Palmer due to a cornea scratch and was referred to Dr Guario. He provided relief right away and explained what happened very clearly. read more

Let me start of by saying I have HORRIBLE eyesight (Pelucid Marginal Degeneration\Kerataconus). Glasses only get me to maybe 20/60 at best. Soft contacts maybe 20/40. I am around 20/400 without. Having been to MANY eye Dr.s & Corneal specialists over the years I can emphatically state Dr. Guario has been the best hands down. Very unhappy with my last scleral lens fitting at another local Dr (see review). I knew my prescription was wrong, but the Dr. wanted no part in dealing with it. I found Dr Gaurio on Yelp as someone left a very positive review on a scleral lens fitting (not many Dr.s provide scleral lenses). I had conveyed my concerns about my vision and Dr. Guario worked with me for several hours over the course of a few visits. (More time was spent on my initial fitting with Dr. Guario then my last Dr spent for the entire process). He REALLY spent the time to make sure my very difficult to fit eyes were properly fitted. He checked up on me several xs via phone and text during the whole process. Unheard of these days and really made for a much more personal experience. I am now sitting with a new pair (initial pair) and can see far better then I did with my previous (just about 20/20) and we still have a tweak to do after they settle in for a couple of weeks. Dr Gaurio provides a very rare, special, individualized service and really makes you feel he is doing the best job he can for you (and he is). This is probably one of the best Dr. Experiences I have ever had and I am not easy to please (and always joked I prefer going to the Dentist over the Eye Dr.). Whether you have extremely difficult vision like I do, or just need reading glasses, Dr. Gaurio and All Eyes Optical is THE place to go. I drive 50 miles round trip just to see him and could not be happier with the service he has provided. read more

I happened to choose this establishment because it is very near to where I live. It is not a "walk-in"kind of place. You are best served by calling and making an appointment. Once I as able to get an appointment, I saw why Dr. Guario was so booked up. The staff was friendly, professional, and courteous. Intake is a breeze, and they check out your insurance to make sure there are no surprises. Dr. Guario is personable and makes you feel at ease quickly. He doesn't even look down on you too crossly when you confess that your last eye checkup was back when internet access was dial-up! The doctor was calm, reassuring, and very professional. Turns out I needed far vision and near vision eyeglasses. Big surprise. The rest of the staff was great, helping me choose the specs and I was able to pay them off in installments while they were being made. Dr. Guario is one competent, highly skilled doctor who truly takes pride on his profession and really care about his patient's wellness!!! Three weeks ago, I woke up with blurry vision. I've called the office to see him but he was out of town at the time. His office's staff was very kind and helpful to assist me by providing the contact info of several other offices if they could fit me in to their schedules. Unfortunately none of other offices could see me that day. When the office notified Dr. Guario about my conditions, he called me right away and instruct me what I needed to do until he got back. Since he got back in town, he has been working with me to figure out the causes and what can be done to get my vision back. He is very professional and caring during the whole process. As of today, I have 85% of my vision back and will see him again today to follow up. I believe that I will get my full vision back under Dr. Guario's care in another week or so. I have my fully trust in Dr. Guario's knowledges! I wish to see more Doctors in the healthcare system like him! read more

Walk in's before appointments. Seems that here the idea is the walk in gets to go before the appointment. I had a 2 o'clock appoint.. I show up at 1:54 the door is locked but suddenly the doctor shows up unlocks the door lets a woman and two kids in and with me standing there re locks the door. I take a seat outside and when they unlock the door I go in. But now that his friends have gone before me for what was not an emergency I am left seated. The 2:30 shows up unaware of what has happened and has no idea that with luck his 2:30 will be 2:45...Really there is an eye doctor on every corner so I made another appointment with another doctor and left.. The worst customer service. I just had my baby with me at 12.56pm and I forgot my credit card in the car to pay for my contacts. I asked if I can go get it very fast to pay and the 2 representatives told me they close at 1 for lunch. I asked if they would wait for me to get it very quickly and they said no. It wouldn't have taken me 4 minutes to run to the car and come back but that's not the point. The point is that they are RUDE! read more

The first time I got my glasses, a gentleman picked out a bunch of frames that he thought would fit my face. He was spot on!! This time, I had some girl who was having a bad day. She was like a zombie. She grabbed some frames and I grabbed some frames and tried them on. She wasn't interested in helping me. That was obvious. So today I picked up my $180 frames that I really just don't like. I felt rushed and picked whatever I could to kill that vibe. Now I look like an old lady. Everyone else was great and the doctor is excellent, but this time I was very unsatisfied and I'm stuck with glasses I don't like for the whole year. read more

As a long time struggler with Keratoconus, I still cannot believe how Dr. Guario was able to improve my vision so immensely. I previously wore hard contact lens and was unable to keep them in for more than 4 hours a days before having to take them out due to pain and discomfort. The hybrid lens Dr. Guario prescribed me with now give me amazing vision and I'm able to keep them in for over 12 hours a day with no discomfort! I sincerely recommend these lens to anyone suffering with Keratoconus. In regards to the service - My experience with Dr. Guario and his staff has been an absolute pleasure. I could not ask for better service. I was not handed lens and then forgotten. Doc followed up with me almost every evening to check the comfort level requesting pictures so he could check the fit. Dr. Guario and his team are simply the best you will find anywhere. They are professional, courteous, and responsive. My son was experiencing a red, painful eye with impaired vision, so I contacted Dr. Guario. He had me rush him over to the clinic to be seen immediately. Dr. Guario diagnosed the problem (corneal ulcer with infection) and initiated treatment. He followed up with me by phone to check on my son's progress, and saw him back in clinic the next day to ensure that the ulcer was healing.
