I've been getting eye migraines from too much screen time (anyone else?) so I decided to finally come back for an eye check-up. I haven't been back since 2018, so I was excited at the thought of getting some new frames. Healthcare is one of those categories of businesses where you usually find your provider through your insurance or through recommendations and I can say that I wholeheartedly recommend this office. Everyone is friendly and appointments are a breeze to schedule and go through. Dr. Betancourt is such a gem of a doctor & really takes her time to go through any concerns you may have plus answer questions with what is happening. She answered all my questions and helped me find a possible solution to my light sensitivity and eye migraines. They gave me two different sets of prescriptions (one for nighttime driving & one for computer/screen use, thanks astigmatism!) They also help if you have any problems with your current frames and have pads for glasses to purchases in case yours fall off. Thank you Pines Vision Care for amazing eye care everytime! I had been going to many ophthalmologists during my life, and none of them had diagnosed me with high tension, which leads to glaucoma. She referred me to an ophthalmologist that specializes in that field, and he has taken care of me since then. I go to see her every 1-1/2 - 2 years for my glasses, and she's always given me the right prescription. I have never had any problems with any of the office staff; they have always been very pleasant with me. I highly recommend Dr. Fallazadeh and her staff.

They then said they can not give it to me as apparently "prescriptions would differ depending on the contact lenses that I would use. They then demanded which brand I would prefer so they can give me the prescription for it. I actually work in the medical field and told them their claim is untrue. You do not need a brand to diagnose my eye prescription. This was the worst eye exam I have ever been to. I worry about customers who are unable to advocate for themselves and end up ripped off. These loud, unprofessional, car salesmen-come- opticians should be held liable to what they are doing to customers. Bad practice.

My favorite thing is how friendly most of the people are, my only concern is a couple of the people who work the front desk definitely need to be on the happier side because a few times they have been super grumpy and it is only 9:30 or 10:00 in the morning. Not a good way to start your day or my day in my opinion. The doctors here are super friendly and the checkups are insanely quick and then get you your prescription faster than any other eye doctor that I have gone to in the past. One thing that I do not like is they are very pushy about me trying new contacts, I know that they are trying to get more of a commission off of the brands they are pushing but I had one of the female doctors basically get upset saying that my contacts are horrible compared to the ones that she was trying to get me in when I kept telling her I do not care for One A Day Contacts I prefer my monthly. They have some very up-to-date machines and I love the retina scanning machine that they have to show you the back of your eye. It is super detailed and yes it does cost a little bit extra to do but I definitely think it is worth it to make sure that your eyes are in the best shape they can be! Right They also have an entire Optical section where you can buy your lenses and frames in store however I usually don't look over there because the prices for their frames are on the rather High side. Love this eye doctor and I will continue to stay a patient here until I move or they stop taking my insurance!
