If you are looking for a place that cares about you...forget about it! All about Money! Recently needed to have something in my eye looked at for insight. Dr. refused without any kind of courtesy to patient without having to pay for a full $175 eye exam...even after all the previous business my family provided (over $2000). I even suggested a quiet spot away from his existing Patients. All I got from him was "that's our fee" and "I have to pay my rent" and "that's our economy". In the 10min talking. He could have checked my eye and even charged me $50. Then he gives me card for somewhere else without even checking. So they would rather loose a family of Patients then take a little courtesy time. Way to pay your rent! Btw. I found a full exam somewhere else for half the price! Frustrated. The girls at the counter are nice. The Dr...Fah! I was helped quickly even on a Saturday. This stuff is really professional and knows their stuff when it comes to lenses and frames and all that good stuff. I think they have some good deals on frames for kids. You can also bring in your classes to be adjusted for free, this include sunglasses. It is a little tricky to get in and out of this location. It is worth it's to deal with such caring eye professionals. read more

The optometrist is wonderful but, buyer beware in the eye wear coverage! I bought a pair of progressives, added the blue light package and the glasses were great. I got a scratch on one of my lenses so I called about the 75% coverage I added on during purchase. They said that the tiny scratch warranted a full replacement because they are progressives! So basically I have to pay $85 for a scratch! And that's with insurance coverage! The question is, why didn't they explain this to me at the time I purchased the insurance? I'm not going to bother with this place anymore. read more

I just left my contact lens exam with Dr. Richards-Delatour at For Eyes Pembroke Pines. She is very sweet and makes sure to listen to your needs as a patient. I stopped wearing contacts a little over a year ago due to a different doctor putting me in an ill -fitting brand. I explained this to Dr. Richards-Delatour and she put me in an even more light weight lens that I literally don't even feel it on my eye. She also recommended a doctor to seek consultation with for LASIK as I've been debating doing it for some time. Highly recommend her for your yearly contact lens exam! read more

Over the last several years I have came to this location to purchase eyeglasses. The service was always pretty standard. I had to go in today for a new pair after breaking my eyeglasses. Sebastian was very eager to help, super professional, knowledgeable, and patient. Friendly staff and they treat you like a customer is supposed to be treated. The opthamologist is efficient and doesn't take forever to explain the test results and write out a prescription. They have a decent amount of glasses options and their prices are competitive. I have been here several time and have been exremely happy with the service and the overall experience. Top Notch Customer Service! It's so refreshing to meet folks who really know how to take care of their customers. My husband and I work full-time and haven't had an opportunity to fill our eyeglass prescriptions until tonight. We walked into For Eyes at 6:40pm, not realizing that they close at 7pm. But the two ladies working, Ashley and Donna, did not rush us out the door-instead they told us to take our time choosing our frames and then did all the measuring and paperwork for four pairs of glasses. They stayed with us until 7:45, well after their closing time and made sure our order was thorough and correct, and that we were happy with our purchase. The Optometrist was great, unfortunately, it's been 3 weeks and I still don't have my glasses and no contact from them. All call attempts, inspite of promises to call me next day with updates, were mine. I am so disappointed. I paid over $500 for two pairs of glasses and I have not even received a call from the person who sold me the frames or the store manager to apologize for the wait or with and update of when I should get them. Even if the delay isn't their fault, some sort of contact would have been appreciated. It will be a month this Friday and I still do not have my glasses. read more

We went in to the Weston location last night to get my 10 year old son's first pair of glasses. Stephanie could not have been more knowledgeable or patient with helping us picking them out. She spent time explaining our insurance options, but in the end, their 50% off deal was better than we could have done through our insurance. What another optician in town was going to charge us $375 for, we got at For Eyes for $150! They have a large selection of frames of varying price points and a lot of kid's frames. They also have an optometrist who charges $59 for a regular exam, which is very reasonable. We are very pleased with For Eyes and would recommend them highly! read more

Natalie is one of the most professional, kind and patient representatives I have ever worked with at any store - ever. I went to get glasses a few minutes before closing time, yet my incessant indecision was at an all-time high. After 30 minutes of looking for the right pair I was stuck between a red frame and a black frame. Natalie showed incomparable patience and understanding of my indecisiveness and eased me along to a final decision. Bless her heart! About 30 minutes after closing, I still hadn't chosen the pair that I wanted. Despite my frustrations with this store in the past, when I really needed them to come through for me, they did. Last night my frames broke during routine cleaning within their first year of purchase. Having worn glasses nearly my entire life, I saw this as completely unacceptable and was aghast that such a thing could happen as I've never had a pair fail so quickly. My previous frames were the exact same model and they failed after six years in the same manner: a small break near the nose that caused the lens to fall out. I was freaking out because this is my only pair of glasses--I take impeccable care of them--and I couldn't dare show up at my job with a wire tie holding the lens loosely in place. Despite my obvious and lucid anger at the situation, Scott very calmly assessed the situation and by the end of my visit, my frames were replaced free of charge in time for me to make my shift. My family and I have been a customer at this location for the better part of a decade and will continue to do so on the strengths of their customer service. One can go many places for eyewear but for me, caring service deserves my loyalty. For that reason, I recommend this location to anyone. read more

HORRIBLE! Do yourself a favor and don't go there. My daughter's eye exam was pathetic. The doctor is very sweet but I question his ability. He was asleep in the back office when we arrived. His assistant could not get the pressure exam done without losing her patience with my child. The contact lenses fitting appointment was not written down by them so my daughter had to share the appointment with an older teenager who received 100% of the attention. Of course, she was not taught and therefore was unable to get them, while the other kid left wearing contacts and a big smile. The girl who put in the replacement lense order was not very pleasant. I have never seen someone pose such a fake smile as she did. Their policies are horrendous. I was never notified that my child's glasses had arrived. When I finally called, they claimed they had emailed me to let me know. Of course they didn't. Overall, the worst experience. read more

Prior to this visit I saw a Dr at the University of Miami and was not happy with the exam or results. I exlained my situation to Dr Griffity and she was patient, understanding, compassionate and very knowledgeable regarding my situation. Today is Monday 11/11/13 and I am a very happy and content patient. Her diagnosis and resulting actions has made it possible for me to have the vision I was trying to achieve. I rarely write reviews but Dr. Griffith was so professional and kind that I just had to make sure she gets the compliments that she so deserves. I'm a customer of the Hollywood store, but doctor was not there on Saturday so they suggested to make an appointment on Sunday to the Pines location, BIG regret we got lost and got there few mins late and the clerk and Doctor would not see us bc we were late! Extremely rude and unprofessional! Another customer got there late after us but they decided to see him instead just because he called, I did call too bc I was lost but she didn't even give me a chance to speak and explain just because it was easier to cancel me.
