Omg total worth it. Sore feet? No problem. A little neck and back massage included. I haven't had my feet worked out like this in a long time. My body was sore and hurting prior to coming in. (My fault really for walking all over Salem). It's in an older looking shopping plaza. When you walk up on it looks way to dark to be open. They are open till 9 pm. Nice relaxing music to relax your mind. You sit on a little ottoman thingy and soak your feet. They will wipe your feet off and then you will turn around to lay down. I only did a 30 min sesh but I could have laid there for an hour. read more

This was my second time visiting. My first experience was very pleasant and I had no issues, which is why I decided to return! I booked the 1 hour combo service. The foot massage was enjoyable and met my expectations but the back acupressure portion felt much rougher than expected and left me uncomfortable at times. However, I understand that pressure preferences can be subjective and not necessarily an issue with the masseuse! What unfortunately impacted my experience the most happened at checkout. I paid in cash and left approximately a 17% tip. After seeing the amount, the employee made many comments such, "that's it?" "oh no no" and demanded that I needed to leave more and insisted on a 20% tip. I ended up adding a few extra dollars because the interaction made me extremely uncomfortable. I found this especially disappointing because making comments about a customer's tip amount is EXTREMELY inappropriate and unprofessional. Tipping should remain voluntary. Unfortunately, this has left me hesitant to return. read more

Footworx Reflexology Spa - Reflexology Near Me - Saugus, Massachusetts

I enjoyed this place. When I walked in, I went to the restroom and noticed that the bathroom smelled good and cleanly which is a great sign. The massage therapist was very kind and smiley, and I should note that I called 10 minutes out and they were able to see me at that short notice at 8 Pm on a Saturday! The massage bed was very comfy, and when I arrived at my massage bed there was a table of mints, snacks, water, and little flowers waiting for me that the massage therapist offered to me. The foot reflexology massage, that was 55.00 for 1 hour, began with me putting my feet in a warm water bucket filled with floating flowers. The water was lukewarm, but that's okay. The massage therapist massaged my shoulders, back, and arms, and never hesitated to ask how I was feeling. After this, she laid me down, wrapped me in a blanket and massaged my temples, head, neck, and shoulders. This was lovely, I really thought this was great. When she moved to my feet, she used oil and it was very relaxing. I've had more skilled foot reflexology massages before, but it was very very calming and I almost fell asleep. I floated into relaxed La La land! I also noticed she paid careful attention to the arches of my feet and applied firm pressure, in a good way. I thought this may be great for athletes or people who have plantar fasciitis. I'm on my feet all day and truly needed this. The massage lasted a long time and when it was over I was offered water. There was also a line to put the tip on the card which I really appreciate. No pressure to tip at all, but of course I gave a great tip. Over all wonderful experience and I hope to return soon! read more

I really want to like this place. I've been going here for a while, but my last visits have been a huge letdown. So much so that I almost ended my last foot massage early just to make it end. This past Monday afternoon, the woman (older) stopped rubbing my feet a dozen times while she was looking at her phone. It was so annoying! I'd wiggle my toes to get her attention, then she would re-rub for a minute, then go back to scrolling on her phone. Seriously, if the owner is reading these reviews, please make it a company policy that staff aren't allowed to have their phones on them during a massage. And please update your furniture. I had what appears to be glue from the duct tape on my chair all over my butt, which I didn't realize until I got out of my car! I spent a good 1/2 hour cleaning it out of the seat! I'd give them a 1 star review for my last few visits, but I did have some luck with epic foot massages last summer. However, I'm done hoping that things will turn around. read more

I really like this place for foot massages, but the bodywork massage I got this weekend was extremely uncomfortable in every sense of the word. It started with an awkward "I have no idea what I'm supposed to do" moment because my masseuse provided no explanation of what to do when I arrived. I was in a semi-private space with a room divider for privacy, but there was no place to put my clothes, and I know you stay fully clothed for foot reflexology (obviously), so I just wasn't 100% sure about fully disrobing. She came back very quickly (wouldn't have been enough time to disrobe anyway) and motioned that I should undress, so I did. Then I quickly crawled into the massage bed, which had multiple layers of blankets on it. Well apparently I crawled into the wrong layer, because she came back and just kept saying "excuse me" in an exasperated tone until I finally stood up (with no clothes on) while she fixed the blankets. I was a bit mortified by this point, and almost left, but she just said "lie down" and that was that. Now, I like deep pressure, but this was spine crushing at times. I have a bruise along my spine today from one time where I felt audible bone crunching and let out an involuntary yell. She said she was sorry and eased up a tiny bit but the pressure was not appropriate for bony areas. I have never looked forward to an hour massage being over, but this felt like it went on forever. I will come back for foot reflexology but definitely not for bodywork. They need to provide a sign with instructions, or a chair for clothes at the very least, if they aren't going to give instructions verbally. read more

I appreciate the wonderful relaxing experience and professional staff after stressful business deals in Boston or traveling. The foot massage is the best and allows you to rest in a calm safe environment. I brought my friend the next time and she had the same wonderful benefit. She reminded me to tell you about the benefit from neck and shoulders as well. Thank you Footworx, it worxs for us! read more

Went here with my girlfriends. We had a great time. We called, made the same day appointment and were lucky enough to get in right away. The spa is very clean, our temperature were taken upon arrival, our hands got sanitized, which made us feel safe during this crazy pandemic. The therapists here are very experienced and gave us deep tissue massage we needed. After the treatment, I saw the staff there change all the sheets and disinfect everything and that's very very important right now. We have been to so many places, but this one is definitely one of the best! Will be back again, thank you Footworx. read more

My boyfriend likes getting his foot massage here and brought me in to try it. I got the 1 hour combo with Patty. She was amazing. Patty was attentive and interactive. Her pressure points were very good all over. But the highlights for me were arch work on my feet (I'm a runner), my neck and shoulders, and lower back. My boyfriend had Peter and he was very happy. I highly recommend this place. read more

Received an hour long reflexology that included a combination of body work. It started with a warm soaking of the feet and a small tray of hot tea and sweets. The reflexology was very relaxing and even included hot stones. What a nice experience to relieve stress and relax for an hour. The prices are also very reasonable. Will be coming back for sure! read more

I've come out of hiding on Yelp because I feel so strongly about this place. I've been to Reflexology appointments at other locations/businesses before, but Footworx is far superior. I'm incredibly lucky that it's 5 min. from my home, and I hope to visit monthly from here on out. The place is beautifully appointed, very, very clean, and the staff is incredibly professional. I've been twice now for reflexology, and couldn't be happier. The added bonus of hot stones is really a huge plus, and both therapists I've had have been incredibly intuitive as to where I needed attention, rather than following a standard routine. I truly wish the best for this business and can't wait to go back. Key words: Professional....Clean.....Affordable.....Relaxing read more

Fantastic place. Wish it could be closer to home. It is the best massage I've had. Ask for Henry

Amazing, Amazing, Amazing!! Booked my first 1 hour session for just reflexology. My reflexologist Brian definitely knows what he's doing. I'm so impressed with the foot and leg massage that I'm booking another for two days from now!! My feet feel incredibly well!! read more

Massage was ok, it was more of a rubbing lotion in than massage. I question the cleanliness of the linens and am a little freaked out by that. read more

One of the cutest and neatest foot reflexology places I've seen in Boston. Try the 1 hour combo. which comes with essentially a foot soak, head and shoulder massage, foot massage and then a back massage where they'll flip you over. $50 well spent. The lady was super nice despite a bit of a language barrier. A lot of real focus on pressure points, I could feel the tension throughout my body ease off. Right off of route 1 with plenty of parking! read more

World's most okay-est foot rubbing place. Because that's just what it is! This isnt real reflexology. It is foot rubbing. I can never find it relaxing because people come off the street talking loudly at the front desk. Last time was the last straw. Typically i keep my eyes closed and I happened to look down to see the foot rubbing guy rubbing one foot and scrolling w his iphone with his other hand reading the screen like a novel. I am paying for his undivided attention. So I thought! read more

Today I got a massage at the Footworx in Saugus. The woman soaked my feet in a wooden bucket with warm water & flowers floating in it. Then she offered me Chinese herbal/medicinal tea. While my feet were soaking she massage my neck shoulders and upper back with her hands & elbows. Then I laid back on the comfy chair and she massaged both my feet calves for what seemed like forever and finished off with hot stone massage. Then I laid face down on the table she actually got on top of me and massaged me with her elbows knees and thighs this type of massage is called Tui Na. It's massage, reflexology, acupressure and a bit of chiropractic. The combo special was $55 and 1 hour long. I feel like a new person but I am still the ahole you all know and love. read more

Very skilled body workers here. I especially like the fact that all of the 4 different persons who have worked me were very well-versed in the fundamentals of massage. Generally, every therapist will naturally have their own unique style that they incorporate into a basic routine and I really appreciate how each Footworx therapist adds this personal flair. I've been to places where the work is very robotic and not intuitive at all. Not so here; one therapist had very good grip strength and he was really able to use this on my forearms, shoulders, calves and of course my feet- I melted in the massage chair/table. Another therapist incorporated Thai techniques and used her elbows, palms, and knees to apply pressure to my traps, glutes, hamstrings and calves. They also use elbow techniques very well here hitting my knots using these rhythmic circular swirly motions with pin-point accuracy. I am a massage therapist myself so it is very important for me to keep my muscles balanced and loose. It's the best feeling when you know that blood is circulating into tissues where lactic acid and metabolic waste gets trapped and simply need a little elbow grease to regain better functioning. I highly recommend this place. $90 for 90 minutes is fantastic deal and is what I usually ask for. Thirty minutes is better suited for folks who need a tune-up of specific areas of which you can clearly communicate to whomever will be working on you. I'm guessing the most popular service is the foot and back combo for $50. Come try this spot if you enjoy advanced skills relative to other reflexology joints nearby and if you appreciate no-frills wellness and therapy treatments that won't break the bank. Easy to get to- right on route 1 N with plenty of parking. read more

I have been to footworx couple of times with my friends. I live in Alston, so it's almost 40 minutes drive from my house to Footworx. However after tried nearly all massage places around Alston and some so called Chinese Tui Na in the area. I rather take all the time to Footworx instead of wasting my money on some place nearby. I have a long history in addicted to massages especially Tui Na for eight years so I can tell if it is a nice massage or just a cozy body rub. Go to Footworx if you want a real massage to deep relax your body and restore your energy. Not mentioning friendly workers and nice clean environment. read more

What an awesome place! I didn't even know about it until a couple of days ago. I brought my daughter for her 7th birthday (her first experience like this) and they made it so special for her. Our massages were perfect. And, they sat us right down when we got there and pampered us until the very last minute of our allotted time. Super clean. Relaxing atmosphere. New and inviting furniture. I'm impressed and excited to come back! read more

This place is amazing! I am due next week and wanted to get some pampering in. The facility is very attractive and clean and the staff was very welcoming and hospitable. I did an hour foot reflexology/bodywork combo and left feeling like a million bucks. Will definitely be back! read more

Hidden Gem! Cici (sp) was great! I'm 8 months pregnant and NEEDED my feet and back massaged asap! Walked in off the street and got an appt right away. I will be going back! read more

Unbelievable!! Walked in after a long day at work for a 75 minute "combo". It was seriously the best massage I have ever had and would go back again tomorrow if my schedule permitted me to do so. Worth every penny. Jimmy was my therapist and was extremely skilled at finding all the problem areas. I highly recommend this place!!! The only drawback was that one woman costumer waiting for her massage was loud and on her phone which was not conducive or respectful to those getting massages. read more

Just got a foot massage ...Wonderful experience!! At first they bring out a warm footbath filled with flowers! I will be coming back!!

The quality of massages has changed so much. I am extremely disappointed at my massage services today. I made for 60 minutes worth of work and for 55. I left feeling worse because the person was rushing through this technique. I started to have a panic attack because of how fast he was shaking my body. Sadly I would recommend the massage school house. read more

I tried FootWorx based on others reviews, as I'm new to the area and was looking for an inexpensive, but good massage. The shop is very welcoming, painted in purple hues and low lighting. The scent is lovely and they had nice spa music playing. The lady I had could not have been sweeter. She brought me some hot tea right before the massage began. My massage was certainly relaxing and felt great, although was a bit weak. It definetly could have been far stronger. But with that being said, it was a wonderful first experience and I will absolutely go back! I'd highly recommend them if you're in need of a walk-in massage! Good work, FootWorx! Thumbs up. read more

There are a bunch of fake reviews for this spot, clearly. Same repetitive motion during the entire massage. Barely any pressure. And completely wide open and unprofessional. People snoring! And horns honking outside smh. Did not seem clean. Don't be fooled by fake news read more

What a great find. I've driven by it a few times and today decided to call for an appointment. Jin was so good. Asked how I liked the pressure points. Listened to me. I had foot reflexology which included a massage. First I soaked my feet in warm water while my shoulders were massaged. This was my first time trying reflexology. It was very relaxing and the pressure was good. The place is clean and the price is very reasonable. I'll definitely go back. read more

Just got back from a 1 hr combo with my wife. First timers but once where massage club members. Very clean, nice and very attentive. Half the cost of a non member full hr massage and worth every penny. Will be back. CC and Li were awesome. Located in a strip mall has very little outside noise. It's not a 5 start resort that would run 4x the price but for a great relaxing hr this place is perfect. Plus it's 1 minute from my house!!! read more
