"oh no no" and demanded that I needed to leave more and insisted on a 20% tip. I ended up adding a few extra dollars because the interaction made me extremely uncomfortable. I found this especially disappointing because making comments about a customer's tip amount is EXTREMELY inappropriate and unprofessional. Tipping should remain voluntary. I never had an Ashiastu massage before, but looking into it, decided to give it a try since my back pain was flaring up and I needed help. I was very impressed with how much better this type of massage feels over the typical ones I get. An Ashiastu massage is the type where they walk on your back, but it is much more than that. I opted for the $69 special with aromatherapy foot bath, 30 minute pressure point foot massage and one hour body massage. My therapist was no nonsense, but friendly. I had pulled my neck/shoulder last week and we talked about the depth of pressure I was looking for. Amazing! I've had many many massages and this one was one of the best. I left feeling utterly relaxed and the tightness in my neck had melted away. Two days later I'm still pain free. She used a massage cream instead of oil, which is my preference and even used hot stones. Highly recommended, I will definitely return.
