I enjoyed my jerk chicken rasta pasta to. I went in and order my meal to go. Took about 20 minutes. Staff was welcoming and friendly. A lot of people do Uber eat, Grub hub and ect. It's very clean inside. A lot of seating area for dining in and also seating area at the bar. Highly recommend

My significant other has been telling me about this place for three years. Had to enjoy this gym of Caribbean food. The service was quick and fast. You have to wait to be seated very professional. The ambience is very romantic and beautiful. The food was to die for almost fell out of my chair. The order consisted of two rum punches and they poured heavy so B wise drink water after. The order consisted of roti with goat and chicken and oxtails. My favorite was the roti. I cannot wait to go back and try the Calypso wings and an assortment of every dish. You will definitely get your moneys worth at this restaurant. Top-notch 10 out of 10.

Bourbon Grilled Chicken and shrimp with Cajun Spice.

Came here last night with a few girlfriends to celebrate a special occasion. I ordered the Bourbon chicken and shrimp with Cajun spice and it was pretty good. I felt the shrimp and chicken should have had like a spicy sauce to it but overal couldn't complain. Service was pretty decent and our waiter was very sweet to us and accommodating. The ambiance is definitely lively to go into and they play upbeat music. Next time I'll try their Rasta Pasta which my friends tried.

Didn't like the experience. With the food, and other customers that were there. Just skip this place and get food at the boardwalk. -Food was not so great -The place is very dark lighting and was very dead... that should of warned me why the place wasn't full of customers (especially since it's right across Coney Island beach/boardwalk)

This is a hidden treasure... the food is amazing! The location is even better and the service is pretty good! Not a big fan of the ambiance... the place could use an uplift! But it's well kept with a good staff.. Great place for some good Caribbean food and chill vibes..

As a Caribbean I like to try the basics before venturing through the menu. Both goat and oxtail awww delicious and portions were perfect. Out of the way from my stopping ground but definitely a place you should try and if your looking for Caribbean this is your spot

I absolutely loved the idea and the overall vibe of the cafe. That said, we came specifically for coffee and mochi donuts, and unfortunately those fell a bit short. The coffee was just okay, and the mochi donuts weren't great - ours tasted on the staler side, which was disappointing. Overall, I really think this place has a lot of potential. The service is great and the concept is very unique for this area, and with some improvements to the quality and freshness of the food and drinks, it could easily become a go-to spot. Worth checking out for the aesthetic, but I'm hoping the menu catches up to how cool the space is.

The cafe is pretty big, they have a separate room for events! Plenty of photo ops throughout. They have a menu of sandwiches as well as pastries and such. I ordered the caramel macchiato and my gf got the taro bubble tea. I tried both and loved them! The woman at the counter was very helpful. It was approx $15 for both which is expensive but I'd rather pay that to a small business owner than some big corporation.

Ordered a cold draft Butterbeer, and listen--this stuff hits like pure liquid butterscotch candy. Frosty, sweet, and it comes served in a proper heavy tankard you get to take home like a trophy. Since moderation isn't in my vocabulary, I also ordered the Butterbeer ice cream. Absolutely outstanding. 10/10. The place literally has 1,000 glowing bottles floating above the bar, copper pipes running through the ceiling, and a massive 220 lb phoenix hanging out inside. Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood herself) was even hanging around showing off the setup. If you're in NYC, forget the diet, get down to Broadway & 22nd, and get yourself a cold one. ‍

There was so much to look at and they had so many fun things throughout the shop. You could easily spend a good amount of time walking around and looking at everything. We also got some sweet treats while we were there. We tried the cake cup, which was yummy, although I expected it to be a little more moist. The Butterbeer was definitely my favorite though! It was so good and such a fun thing to try while visiting the shop. They even have a restroom, which was a nice bonus since we were already spending some time there. Even if you're not planning to buy anything, I think it's worth stopping in just for the experience. It really feels like you're stepping into the Harry Potter world and there are so many fun details to see. Definitely a fun NYC stop!

They make their syrup in-house, and while I wouldn't say the drink itself is super sweet, they give you a gulab jamun as a topper. One recommendation: don't do what I did and drink the latte first and save the gulab jamun for last, because honestly, once you eat a gulab jamun, nothing else tastes sweet in comparison. I also absolutely loved their concept. All of their drinks and shop items are priced using repeating numbers, like 3:33, 33:33, and 11:11. They have a spirit number guide that explains what each number means, which I found really intriguing. The funny thing is that I didn't notice the guide until after I'd already ordered, and my drink's price happened to match my own spirit numbers! I won't reveal which ones, but I thought that was such an interesting coincidence. Given that the shop is called No Nazar, meaning no evil eye, I thought the whole concept was especially fitting. The location is great, too, right in the East Village and central to so many things. It's about a 10-minute walk from the Missed Connections photo booth if you're looking for something else to do after grabbing your coffee. The girl behind the counter was also so nice. After getting my coffee and walking around for a while, I asked if I could come back and sit for a bit while waiting for my friend, and she was totally cool with it. Overall, such an awesome spot with a unique concept, great coffee, and genuinely nice staff. Would definitely go back!

Even if I can't have my own cat, I'm happy to visit a cat café to interact with some cats and support with my attention and money. Maybe they have to close due to slow business is. There was only three people in my hour and two the next. The half hour sessions seem to be more popular with maybe a dozen people. I used to come here more often until I discovered Meow Parlour. It's much much cleaner and brighter and spacious. It doesn't bother me but Koneko cats tend to be older and less playful which may be not as fun for some guests. I find it calming to watch sleeping cats or just observing them roam around. Not sure when Koneko started offering drinks for all full hour bookings regardless of time. It used to be limited to their happy hour session which would end up being almost $30. This time, the drinks are included and a limited selection is included. Matcha, lattes, and mochas are $3 extra. I think it's fair. I got the oolong four season and was impressed with it. In general I don't expect a cat café to have good tasting food/drinks because the focus is on cats. I wonder if they cold brew all their teas because I saw the barista prepping batches of other teas. The long steeps can also explain why I think there's slight bitterness from the oolong, but it's very subtle. The oolong was refreshing and had an aftertaste and wouldn't taste diluted even with ice in it. Impressed.

Naturally, reservations required; you can make one hour or 30 minute session time slots for yourself online. Cute merch, a little 25 and under for me (ears on hats, that sort of thing), but hey- if you like something, I will not judge if you wear it. There are in fact three levels; my favorite was a pretty outside deck. The trees losing the occasional leaf captured all the cats' attention. No picking cats up, but if a cat jumped in your lap, you were allowed to feel the win! Lots and lots of petting went on, minimal swatting and hissing. No shoes allowed. Not sure about the coffee, just had a Poppi.
