Recently moved in a 2 bedroom here. The people who live above us are obnoxiously loud. Their children are constantly stomping and running through the apartment making extreme noise throughout the day, everyday. I'm here sometimes in the day time during the week and I swear their kids never stop (pretty sure they should be in school)...We have made numerous complaints to management and our issue has been written off. They haven't helped at ALL. I seriously feel miserable living here and wish I hadn't moved in this apartment. Of course when you have people living above you you expect to here a reasonable amount of noise, but these people are on a different level! It's really disappointing that our needs are disregarded by the management staff, we pay rent and should be able to enjoy our apartment. read more

I'm so grateful to be living in this amazing complex! The entire staff and maintenance people are awesome! I've never felt so blessed as I do now. They even have a sectioned off doggie park area for the dogs to play in. The grounds are always clean and they even have lemon, lime, and avocado trees! I am so excited about my future living at Foothill Ridge, I specifically would like to give a shout out to Michael. Michael was our leasing agent during the moving process; she was extremely patient, kind, and understanding. Due to the current state of the pandemic, the tour of the apartment was a self tour, however, Michael kept in contact with us during the entire duration of the tour and even gave us a complimentary water bottle. The unit we were shown was a top unit, I expressed concern to Michael about having a top unit because I am disabled. Michael was very understanding and ensured me that I would get a bottom unit and sure enough I got a bottom unit. The paperwork process was very lengthy and frustrating for me because I had issues with my personal information. Michael went above and beyond and was willing to work with me and was very patient with me through the whole process. She kept in touch with me multiple times a day via email and phone calls to update me on the status of my application. The process took a little over a week due to the fact that I was having issues with my personal information, still a very fast process. Everything worked out with her guidance and patience, Michael is definitely an asset to the Foothill Ridge community. read more

I was going to be a resident at this apartment and the only reason why I wasn't was because of personal issues. Arsi did an AMAZING job assisting my boyfriend and I with any questions or concerns that we may have had. I was iffy about the place at first because I wasn't familiar with the area but Arsi made me feel welcomed and right at home. The outside of the apartments could be remodeled/repainted to make them look up to date with the competition that's out there. However, the inside of the apartments were very nice and very spacious. The current residents were friendly and welcoming as well. Arsi stayed after hours just to assist us with the entire process which was greatly appreciated. read more

I loved my apartment. It was roomy and warm. When there was a maintenance issue the staff was quick to fix it. I would encourage anyone who moves there to not get Frontier Communication Services. Horrible place to live. 40-60 people at the pool every afternoon until 9-10pm at night having parties. My upstairs neighbor has 5 people in a 1 bedroom apartment stomping on the roof all the time. It is illegal to have that many people in a 1 bedroom but the complex does nothing. They close the office 15min, 30min sometimes 1hr early on a regular basis and people getting home from work at that time can not charge there laundry cards or put in work orders. read more

Dear Alma, it's refreshing that you want to fix things (damage control), but it's the policy that needs changing. My husband and myself voiced our concern to management on several occasions and nothing was done. Actually Jackie got very annoyed and catty when I expressed concern regarding you guys charging us for normal wear and tear to the apartment. We were literally charged to repaint the whole bathroom because the shower rod that you guys provided & installed started to chip some paint away where it connects to the wall. All shower rods do that to the bathroom wall. It was just sad that you guys took advantage of a young family like that. Normal wear and tear on a unit shouldn't be taken out of security deposits. That's wrong. There was actual damage that we did do & I didn't mind paying for that, but the rest was just greed on the apartments behalf. read more

Terrible community didn't have hot water for the first 4 months living here. Neighbors vacuum at 4 in the morning and pound all day long. The garage that I have to rent because they only give you one spot, smells like pot everyday because some kids who party in there garage next door every night. Also someone breaks the gate every week so there is no regulation to whose getting in or not. Security would be a good investment for the property. I lived here for 4 years. When I didn't give a 30 day notice to vacate (which is written into the lease) the property manager Jackie took all the action she could. You would think they would cut a long time resident and first time renter some slack. The property manager has a power trip which bleeds down into her staff. She will not budge on anything unless it benefits them. A roommate of mine bounced a check- when this happened we had to give money orders for the next 3 months even though this violated the lease agreement. She may order us to pay in money orders for one month. I recognize I am wrong for not giving a 30 day notice, but to treat people with no respect and belittle them is wrong on their end. This complex shows no love to its residents other than putting your name into a raffle if you pay them early. The walls are very thin. Many nights I was woken up by my neighbors having sex (good for them bad for the single guy). Roaches live in the cracks by the pool (east side stairway entrance is vomit worthy during summer nights). It isn't a good community- last time I checked there was a registered child sex offender living here. Upland Swat raided my neighbors. I called the police because a teenage girl was being molested in the laundry room by some of the neighborhood boys. I woke up one morning to police yelling "stop" as a group ran past my open window. Other than these things I had a great time with my roommates through the years. read more

My boyfriend just moved in to his first apartment. I, myself, have lived in many so I have been helping him with everything to make sure he is comfortable and gets a good start. His leasing and move in process were so simple and the response time was so fast. Michaele, was our agent and she was very accommodating and has been beyond helpful throughout our move in week. The apartments are newly renovated and beautiful might I add. The community is very quiet and mellow, which is perfect for us. There is a wide variety of food and shopping all around us and the complex also has gorgeous amenities such as a brand new gym and a huge spa and pool with cabana areas to relax in. They also are pet friendly and have dog parks which is awesome because my boyfriend will be taking care of my little guy for a while. They have a secured and locked package facility so all packages that are delivered are safe, as well as mail boxes. Parking is nice for guests, the street is huge and close, although it does fill up, it's still a very nice additive. Everything has honestly just been so smooth and I couldn't be happier for my boyfriend, I think this is the perfect place to get started and for the price he's living in what I could consider luxury. I lived here for 1.5 years. I didn't have issues with noise levels or roaches/bugs or anything like that. I found the amenities to be nice: the pool is nice, the spa is big and always warm, the volleyball court is fun, the laundry rooms were fine, the gym was convenient. There were small issues that I think you'd find anywhere: The treadmill in the gym was broken for a long time, some washers/dryers would be out of order from time to time. The park that is advertised is GREAT - huge soccer fields, access to a basketball court. Great place to go for a run or walk the dog. However, about 6 months ago, they started locking the gate that accesses the park. When I asked about it, I was told that they started locking it because people were coming in through that gate and vandalizing the complex. Huge bummer, because I loved going for runs there. In the last few months, I saw the gate open a few times here and there, though. The apartment itself was nice. The patios are really big, which I liked, and the storage unit is a good size. I had an issue with leaking in my storage unit, which I didn't discover until the first big rain. They fixed it after I notified them, but I wish I had known about it beforehand. My apartment was a good size, but the kitchen was tiny. Granted, I was in the smallest apartment offered, but two people could not fit in there comfortably. The vanity area was fantastic. Lots of cabinet space, a huge linen closet, and a good sized bathroom. The air conditioning/heating is not centralized. This was a big issue for me - the AC came out of a little box located in the living room that cooled down the living room, barely. It did nothing at all to cool the bedroom, which, in the summer, was a sweltering heat box. Invest in a fan if you don't like to be hot. The staff that runs the grounds is very friendly - the maintenance man, the woman who cleans. The office staff seems friendly enough, but I had a few issues with being over-charged on different occasions, and when I went in to talk about it, the person I spoke to had no idea why I was charged extra. It turned out to be a mistake on their end. Communication could be improved so this is eliminated. Big issue with trash digging - a lady lives here who goes through the trash all the time. She also lets anyone into the complex (she lives right by the gate) which I found annoying, because it negated the purpose of moving into a gated complex in the first place. There are also trucks that drive in and go through the trash daily. So, be careful what you throw away. The gate on the most west side was broken quite often. I didn't find parking to be too big of an issue. There's street parking that I, or my guests, used very often. In the 1.5 years I lived here, I only couldn't find parking maybe twice. Lots of kids always playing around unsupervised, yelling and screaming. But hey, where are you going to move where there aren't kids running and screaming? You can only have Verizon internet here, as every apartment is only wired for Verizon. Location of this complex is fantastic. Super convenient to be walking distance from walmart and a grocery store. Within a minute's drive, you have any kind of food you want, and plenty of stores. Located right next to two freeway exits. Very convenient location. After my first year, rent increased quite a bit. I stayed on for a 6-month lease after that. When those 6 months were up, the rent actually went down. I moved because I was looking for a bigger place. read more

So...I've been living in this apartment and just discovered a huge rat problem. I found my dogs food bag ripped up under my sink and I saw one on the patio! Pair that with noisy neighbors running to and fro constantly and this place is hell. I was told the rat issue will not be addressed until Tuesday, I've been living in fear for 5 days...DEFINITELY not worth 1700 dollars a month, I had a much better experience in the 1 bedroom I was originally renting. Lots of angry yelpers, and I will definitely update if things change, but so far this has been a great place to stay. Neighbors are quiet, pool area is nice, and besides the lack of extra parking there haven't been issues. Having a spot per tenant would be nice, and that warrants removing a star because the street parking is seriously questionable(there are damaged vehicles that should be towed) but fix the parking and this is a solid complex. read more

Tell me how that shows that you put the needs of the residents before your own. The units are falling apart and you decide you need a new office. Customer Service is absolutely horrific. The only decent one there is Arsi. I was tenant here for 2 1/2 years and for one they NEVER answer the phone. You have to call multiple times a day to finally get someone. At move out I never received any move out statements, so called in to inquire about it and someone who claims to be the manager Tara or whatever her name is was soo unbelievably rude. I'm in shock. She told me they allegedly send a statement in April which again I never received. So She proceeds to say well its in collections now it's not my job to call you and make sure you received the statement. I told her that Arsi said that it would take about 4 weeks to be sent out and if I had t received it by then to call which was what I was doing. And this rude you know what just rushed me off the phone without offering any info whatsoever. I'm so disgusted with her unprofessionalism. Especially since I'm calling to try and PAY them for anything that may have been owed. I have mins to come down there and see if she'd have the balls to be rude to my face. read more

My husband and I had looked into renting here last year but we were completely disappointed. The pictures online made the property look more appealing than in person, the building looks like worse because they tried really hard to make the complex look more "modern" and the grounds weren't very pretty. The floor plans are in a very awkward format making the apartments look and feel smaller than they really are, and the lack of amenities left us feeling deceived by the online posting. The management was also very pushy, unwelcoming and sales driven. Based on the other reviews, we made the right choice in passing on this complex. read more

Here is what you won't hear from the apartment manager when you visit the apartment or sign up your lease: My bedroom is right next to my neighbor's with no sound proof. (All units are that way unless you have 2-bedroom, then only one) I could hear my neighbor snoring, talking, bed noises from moving, etc. Avoid this apartment at all cost if you want your privacy. read more

Every time they go from bad to worse, they have 7 months removed the offices and the gym, and when renting they told us that there was access to the park which is not true! and even so, the prices of rents continue to rise, there are many dirty areas such as laundries, washing machines on the outside ... the person who was left in charge of the offices is very rude and tries to justify himself by saying that he has a lot of work to do. Being in charge of small things like the parcel mentioned this because I got a package on Friday and I was never informed until I went to ask on Tuesday, four days after my delivery date! I had previously returned a package to the USPS stating that my direction was not clear and I had to raise a clarification and investigation so that my object was not reimbursed, this person is not qualified to be in charge of any office, much except in one where you have direct contact with the people that are paying an income to live here! She feels that she does us a favor as if we were living for free and she was benevolent in allowing us ... very bad read more

This is the most frustrating place to live. Since my husband and I moved in may 2014 we intended on renting the larger one bedroom apartment. Unfortunately they had none available at the time. Ever eager for us to hand over our money management coxed us into the smaller apparent with promises of being able to upgrade with no problem at all when the time came. So now a year later our lease was up and we wanted to move with in the apartment complex to a larger apartment. I went to the office looking to discuss our options, instead I was just told they don't have any. The guy never tired to work with me at all didn't tell me when the next one would be up so I can sign a shorter lease or anything the gentleman at the desk appeared extremely irritated by my questions and too bothered to help.I just don't understand why you wouldn't help someone who is trying to move with in the complex? Now I re signed for another year and I'm paying the price of almost a 2 bedroom apartment for the smallest apartment they offer. Will not be staying here because of how terrible management office is.
