Place was ok after living there for a few years. Some of the reviews they did ask a few of the residents to make, so not place is not really a 4*. A lot of the residents and former residents have/had complaints but they don't say anything. Homeless come around once in a while. I had my umbrella stolen caught the person on my ring camera nothing was done. Didn't care for umbrella but still nothing happen. Cars were known to get broken into. Mine got broken into once. Neighbor of ours put a camera facing our cars so that helped. Tow truck was infamous on towing cars, even for being there for a couple minutes. I remember someone's car getting towed while they were moving. Management is ok. Maintenance is ok. Cleaning lady is nice. Resident app they use is convenient at times, but for some reason they can't stop pending payment. There were times the amount was wrong, management was able to fix. Seems like app need to be updated. Dog park is nice. Should have a water hose or something during hot days. Management got a dog trainer to come, but their training technique mostly revolves around prong collar. Not really a fan. The water drain need to be longer above porch area. Dirty water would just drain inside the back of the first floor porch area. I installed a Flex-A-Spout Extension for the water wouldn't fall in our back area. If you have two cars good luck with parking. They'll give you extra parking spot if available, but if not sometimes we would need to park across the street or have our guest park across the street. Gym is nice and pool area is nice, but Covid ruined those areas. read more

Moved here a few weeks ago. Only a few compliants. I was advertised and apt with an extended back yard, I was showed an apartment with an extended backyard, I was told I was getting an apt with in extended backyard and then when we signed the lease and walked over, it was a regular backyard. We weren't happy but we got used to it. Also, we would've like to of know how shitty frontier is. Took us two weeks for someone to come out. First they didn't show up. Then they come and say the internet is down and they don't know when it will be up. What the fuck. It's still out right now. How can you charge people for services you're not providing. We have to stream our phones to the tv for the time being. To be contracted with them as a apartment complex is unacceptable. And you know the office ladies don't really care because the internet is not their problem. And speaking of the office, yesterday they said the phones were down. I didn't check because I was at work, but I think they did that so they wouldn't have to answer calls about the internet service. The living spaces are an upgrade from where we were but I just feel like we were swindled a little bit. read more

Me and my husband has been living in this property since 2009. We both love living in here, they have pool, gym, and 3 laundry rooms. I have only been living here for a few months and I can say that main positive feature of this complex is the friendly and helpful staff. The managing staff was friendly and accommodating during my move in. The maintenance staff is friendly and hard working. I frequently see them around the complex, working to maintain the cleanliness and landscaping of the property. I especially want to give Monica a shout out. I can tell when she had recently working because I'll notice cleanliness and removal of debris around the property, especially in the laundry facilities. SO INCONSIDERATE AND I AM LIVID!!! If I could leave 0, I would! There is a roach infestation in which they failed to inform us of before signing our lease. They informed us 22 hours before our move in date!! I am so angry and frustrated. They also said that the infestation was so bad to the point of where the roaches were in the walls. They claim to be pet friendly, but use toxic chemicals like Delta Dust in their apartments with no intention of informing their tenants and prospective tenants, which is illegal! DO NOT SIGN A LEASE! After visiting 6 apartment buildings, Foothill Ridge is hands down the BEST option in Upland. Beyond the amenities, layouts, renovations and finishes.. the location is at best. I got kicked out by that loser of a manager, Jackie. After 8 years of perfect payment history and not a single complaint against me, I was kicked out because I complained about the psychotic couple living next to me. They constantly argued loudly and sometimes fought physically. Eventually, I was able to record video of them fighting and rolling around on the grass in front of my apartment and showed it to the management and they responded by kicking me out. Don't live here unless you feel at home in the ghetto. I didn't mind cause I was paying low rent and I'm just a single guy. If I had children, I certainly would not live here. The place could be better if it wasn't being run by such complacent losers. read more

I lived at Foothill Ridge for 2 years. I was fortunate enough to have a great view of the neighboring park. Street parking was a fuss at times but beyond that no horror stories. I've had horrible experiences at other apartment properties and this one in comparison is great. The staff is friendly (besides that old lady) and facilities are clean around the complex. read more

Due to heavy winds, a large tree fell into our apartment building. It took the complex about 2 weeks to organize a competent crew to remove the tree. My entire patio got infested with spiders after that and despite filling maintenance requests, the problem continued all year. read more

My wife and I have lived here for 3 years with no complaints. The place got new owners a little while ago and it seems like there is always something being renovated, which has been a little annoying, but it seems like the bulk of it is done now. I moved into these apartments recently. I love my 2 bed floor plan, so spacious and has tons of storage. The community is nice has a brand new gym and large pool I can't wait to use it this summer. My girlfriend and I moved in earlier this week and as all newbies know it takes some time to set up, clear the mind, de stress, finally take your shoes off, enjoy a cold one and write an honest review. 5 star service from the office door to the moment she hands you the keys to the apartment and closes the door behind her. Now as for the property. Calm, clean and we feel at home. Everything is well maintained and everyone who works on the property is very respectful and friendly. Location! Location!! Location!!! Doesn't matter what you need/ want it's close by to everything. I'm from LA and for the price and sq footage to the area and locals, I will not mind the commute. I absolutely love living here! My husband and I have rented a few places before living here, and let me tell you that management makes a HUGE difference! For example, the parking availability is a bit tight, but management does everything they can to be accommodating. I also love how pet friendly they are. But what really stands out to me is, during this Quarantine when our income was severely impacted, management did THE MOST to help us out and feel safe. Arsi especially has been absolutely wonderful. I have lived here for eleven years. The changes/upgrades the property management company has made to our community here in Upland, Ca. has been remarkable. The grounds are very kept very well. The parking is covered for all vehicles and well maintained. The apartments have all been upgraded with new flooring, kitchen appliances, and a fresh coat of paint. If you look around Upland and the surrounding communities the apartment rent is pretty staggering for a single individual and couples. Some of the apartments in our area have rent that is over priced and the properties have not upgraded since the mid 1970's. If you are hunting for a reasonable apartment in the Upland area then look no further the Foothill Ridge Apartments. The front office staff is very professional and friendly. They will also easily help you while you transition into a great community that is located in the heart of Upland in a nice area on route 66. read more

So I had been speaking with Michael or Michaela, I believe that's her name, but the lady in the office with the lip injections. I spoke with her several times regarding my need for a two bedroom availability that was listed on rent cafe for $1875. I also let her know that i had a housing choice voucher, no problem. I was suppose to meet with her several times however she kept saying that their system was down and to come the next day..when i called next day to confirm I'm still coming , she said corporate was there and they were really busy as if discouraging me to come early in the day, so i waited until late afternoon. Once there Carla advised me that the rent was well over $2000 which is the voucher cutoff amount in san Bernardino county for a 2 bdrm. I asked why it was advertised at the lower rate and when Michaela asked my voucher amount she was aware of it being $2000. Then I looked back online to show her, and low and behold it was gone. Thats why they were putting me off so they could remove listing and so now I'm no longer eligible. I found a copy of the listing that i printed off that showed the rent at $1875 and will be contacting equal opportunity housing with this information. The fact that they wasted my time knowing I was in desperate need of housing is discusting. read more

I am not a resident of your community but pass it daily on my way to work. Your new leasing office exterior is definitely 100% more appealing to the eye than before the remodel. However, the building number plaques, facing Foothill, infuriates me. The overspray on the plaques has not been addressed. As you would assume, yes, I am in property management and just a suggestion, get the vendor to clean up his mess. At this point, they'd probably charge to have it removed. Money spent to have overspray removed, in my opinion, will be worth it. As you know, curb appeal is very important, as you never get another chance to make a first impression. Btw, the building color and the leasing office, shows very nice. Thought I'd offer another eye to a fellow community. read more

Foothill ridge is a pretty good apartment complex. We moved in because it was closer to our respective work places. I believe when we signed our lease the new owners had just taken over. They were in the process of some major renovations. The pool and leasing office were done with the renovations but while we were there, they also did our windows, parking area, painting, and our sliding glass door. The renovations are really amazing and really makes the place look more modern. In the leasing office area, there is a gym (decently sized with decent equipment), game room (3 TVs, pool table and shuffleboard table), dog park, Amazon Hub station and pool area. The pool area has a jacuzzi, volleyball court, a lounging area, two grills, and a decent sized swimming pool. The pool was usually full on weekends but my roommates and I usually went to the jacuzzi to relax at night. We also had some friends over and played a game of volleyball a couple times and it was nice to relax in the lounging area afterwards. Honestly, telling you what amenities there are won't do it justice. If you have some time go for the tour. Arsi gave us ours and really showed us around. The staff there is also really amazing. Tara, Arsi, and Michael were the people we dealt with most in the leasing office. They were always very helpful when we had any questions and always worked to make sure we always felt like we were family. The other staff members we saw around always greeted us in the morning when we left for work and we could grab some coffee in the leasing office when we wanted. There are so many food places around that I cannot name them all. Every thing you are in the mood for is well within a 10 min drive. Seriously just yelp around the area and you will see. Market wise is the same thing. From Walmart to Costco to Ralphs and many more. You can literally drive past like 10 markets within 15 min. We loved living at foothill ridge. Two of the roommates had to return back home due to personal reasons and the rest of us were unable to continue to live there but when we can, I would totally move back. We have since moved on but secretly wish we could still enjoy the foothill views and new fitness center. Definitely an A+ place to live in the area. I haven't had any problems the other reviewers have had. The interior of my apartment was recently redone and looks nice. The building's exterior isn't necessarily in the best shape, but the apartment is well-insulated and spacious. One disappointment I had is that the outlets inside the apartment seem quite worn out, and the power cords can sometimes just fall out. However, the outlets are grounded. Everything else worked and I haven't had any other issues. It is pretty quiet most of the time, at least in the back of the complex. The staff is friendly and helpful. I think an on-site manager available for assistance after-hours would be a good addition, though. Update May 19, 2015: So far, so good. The rent has been raised, but that's just how it goes. I chose to stay because I like the place (and moving sucks!). The building exterior has been getting repaired and looks better. I also had some necessary repairs done inside my apartment and the repairman was friendly and came quickly. Pretty much the only issue I have is with the security of this gated community, though. People keep breaking the mechanical gate, and keeping the pedestrian gate open with rocks. This makes it so anybody can come in and vandalize and make graffiti in the complex, and steal my clothing out of the laundry machines. How can this be fixed? read more

This place is horrible. I moved into this complex at the end of November, beginning of December I reported a leak in my vanity area and they took almost 2 months to correct the problem saying they couldn't find the leak. Finally I walked into the office to complain again and told them I would no longer pay my rent until the issue was resolved. I had to walk the maintenance manager into my apartment to show him the leak until the finally fixed it. Now in July a leak in the same sink has started, I reported the problem, and the maintenance fixed it by tightening the knobs to the point that I had a hard time opening them to wash my hands. How is that a fix?? I no longer allow them to come into my apartment when I am not there, so that I can show them the issue. Thank goodness my lease is almost up! read more

I just finished my 6th month at foothill ridge on a 1 year lease. The 740 square foot (larger) 1 bedroom apartment is very large, and the balcony is a strong feature. Having Verizon Fios fiber Internet and TV is great (and reasonable). The pool area and other features are also nice, including the laundry room. As a single woman I feel safe here, especially on the second level. In the apartment the vanity area is nice, plenty of room, and great light (once they fixed the one in the unit). The kitchen is okay, no dishwasher is not good (the model one I saw had one, but my unit does not). The living areas are a good size, and hold my furniture well (and plenty of space for my library also (which is extensive). The air is an issue, and barely cools the apartment, and does not reach the bedroom. I have two fans and a ceiling fan going all the time and it keeps the temp reasonable even when hot. The apartment has a good pet policy (35 per month for a cat in my case) with an extra deposit. The rent is reasonable, and since I got in during the winter was at a lower point. I hope they don't significantly raise my rent when I renew in 4 - 5 months. I love my unit at foothill ridge, but the small things make it not a 5. That said it is an apartment, kids, parking, etc. Even with those I consider myself a long term tenant... read more
