High marks due to wide variety and reasonable prices. Known for fruit and veggies but carries lots more: cheese/dairy, baked goods, spices, ethnic food -- and much more. It's a small speciality store next door to the one of the best speciality stores: Trader Joe's. I quibble a bit as I regularly find berries that are moldy and veggies with soft spots. Some yelpers complain about the staff. They can be perfunctory but I've never seen them be rude. Base your own groceries to speed things up.

Staff refuse to wear masks, even when asked multiple times. Huge Covid concern. No social distancing of staff observed.

I could literally shop here every day, if I could. But it's too far from where I stay without transportation. The ambience was very pleasant and I almost danced to the Latin music. With how crazy inflation has gotten for groceries, anything to save helps. There is a lot of good variety of fresh fruits and veggies here. I usually can find good prices for tomatoes, apples, onions, and other basic cooking staples here. That said, you do need to be careful when picking out your food because some items might be getting close to expiration or are going moldy or bad already. So just pick and choose diligently. The shop does get crowded after work and on weekends, so it's best to come during weekdays or earlier mornings if possible. The workers here are always nice. It's well lit inside and they usually have fresh fruits outside the door as well for you to browse before you enter the store. Overall, cool place to shop. I enjoy frequenting here when I can to grab groceries for my family!

Everything is made fresh to order, and you can really taste the quality in every dish. I especially loved the grilled meats -- they had that perfect smoky char flavor straight from the grill. The staff were incredibly friendly and took the time to explain the different dishes and the best way to enjoy them. Beef, Kofta & Chicken: Super flavorful and packed with spices, with an amazing grilled/charred flavor. I loved being able to build my own wrap with all the different veggies and sauces! Hawawshi Traditional (Egyptian Meat Pie): Similar to arayes, but even more flavorful and juicy. It comes generously stuffed, and the arugula paired perfectly with it. Chicken Breast Bowl: OMG, the fries were so good! The chicken and fries combo worked perfectly together. The chicken had subtle hints of lime and was served over a creamy mayo-style sauce that tied everything together. Salad: Light, refreshing, and topped with onions, pickled veggies, fruit, and vinaigrette. Overall, it's such a fun and casual place to hang out. There's an outdoor patio with self-serve tea and water, and I loved the cozy lights and tent setup. I'll definitely be back!

During that time, the staff never acknowledged us, and we had to make several attempts to get someone's attention just to ask about our order. The food ended up being good but not enough to justify the long wait. The dining area was also a letdown. The enclosed patio with its clear plastic covering trapped the heat, making it feel like we were sitting inside a greenhouse. It was uncomfortably warm and made the meal much less enjoyable. Overall, the food was fine, but the combination of the long wait, lack of communication, and uncomfortable dining area made for a disappointing experience.

It's a bit smaller than some other markets I've visited, but they have everything you need here. Some of my favorite vendors include: Orange Elaichi: This is my go-to spot when I'm at the market. The owner, Janki, is so kind and always remembers me, which I really appreciate. Every vegan option they have is delicious, but my favorites are the Tadka Focaccia, Rose Pistachio and Saffron Orange bundt cakes, and Orange Cranberry Muffins. Hernandez Nursery: They always have the most beautiful plants at great prices. I've bought so many plants from them, and their son has even helped me load them into my car. I highly recommend stopping by their booth. Brother's products S.F. has the best hummus. I always make sure to stop by for the Habanero Hummus, but I've been trying more flavors lately. Their garlic sauces and olive tapenade are also really good. Although I can't eat the flavored labneh, my mom has tried it and loves it. Dumpling King: I love that they have vegan dim sum options clearly labeled. My favorite items are the Green Veggie Bun. I also like the Vegan Siu Mai and Scallion Pancake. I love the organic raspberries at Gomez Berry Farm and organic strawberries at Gonzalez Farm. I tried the tea at Chafolio today because the young man working the booth was super kind. I ended up buying rose hibiscus, and I'm excited to brew it. I can't remember the name of the vendor with the musubi and smoothies, but their Tofu Musubi is so delish, the tofu is very flavorful, and the rice is the perfect texture. Plus, the fruit smoothies are all fruit, so there's no need to worry about dairy or fillers. I'm sure I'm missing someone, but overall, there are so many wonderful produce options and other great vendors. I highly recommend spending part of your Sunday here!
