I opted for 4 lesson package @ Foot Hill Driving School and the classes by Dave was really good, giving the much needed confidence to drive. After the classes with Dave, I became more comfortable with the rules and driving. Went for the Behind the Wheel Driving Test with the Driving School car. My biggest concern, while scheduling the exam was that I may loose practice in the days between my last lesson and the actual exam day. But the practice session before the exam was a good warm up and bring us to the rhythm of facing the exam. Classes were really professional, I am sure that I got rid off my earlier bad habits in driving and all I learnt were good practices from Foot Hill Driving School. Advised my Wife as well to join the Driving classes in Foot Hill Driving School, to get a professional learning. 4 Lesson package is an ideal one to start. I would HIGHLY recommend Foothill Driving School. Having recently moved to the USA, I found the instructors very friendly and efficient. Good communication skills are paramount in driving instructors - and Foothills gave clear direction and reasoning, without being too controlling. They let you leave how to drive in a way that is comfortable and progressive. They helped my overcome an obstacle that had been an issue for me for over 10 years - quite a remarkable achievement. Having compared a few local schools, the price they charge is good value and the administration (booking lessons, payment etc) is very easy. I took the 2 hour Manual Driving Lesson with Dave. It was a great experience. I wanted to take this lesson as a refresher, and I could not have chosen a better place to take it. Dave was great, we jumped into the lesson as soon as I got there. He shared all the tips I should know when operating a manual, and off we went. He was great at putting me a ease, and that allowed me to make a great natural progression throughout the lesson. I have been so pleased with Foothill Driving School! My son worked with Foothill a few years ago and had a great experience. He learned so much during his lessons and enjoyed working with the various driver instructors. My daughter is currently taking lessons and again the same experience. She has been a bit more anxious and nervous to drive, but during her first two lessons, Dave and Wes, two great instructors, have put her to ease. This is one of those businesses that just really does things right. My son had his first driving lesson (yikes) with Foothill and they could not have been better all the way through. The signup was easy, the office people were nice and professional, the instructor arrived on time and did a great job. He was really nice to my son and made him feel at ease (I thought he was going to hyperventilate before they arrived) through the lesson. Now it's my turn. I too had a horrible experience here. I do not like writing bad reviews but if the shoe fits. My daughter had an appointment this summer which they rescheduled twice, when we were finally able to meet the first time Dave cut my daughters appointment short by ten minutes and told me he would makeup the time or give us a discount. The time was never made up and I never received a discount. Seems like a reoccurring theme here. I would strongly suggest going somewhere else. Absolutey ridiculous driving school. I ordered the $300 DMV Requirements Package and was never assisted with the purchase. Every time I called to schedule an appointment, I was not called back. For one of my other children, Foothill Driving School even went so far as to pull off alongside of the road, during my son's appointment, to make appointments later on that day. If I could save you just a bit of pain and anguish, I would very much suggest not to even think about contacting Foothill Driving. Thank you. read more

Signed up online and I took my first class out of two classes given by Dave P. It was real good experience and its easy. He instructed like a good teacher and build lot of confidence on driving as well provided suggestions end of the session. Also more over DMV test he instructed the best way of driving safe and pass the behind the wheels test. I would recommend to my friends, this is good and more trust able driving school. read more

They simply do NOT have the customer in mind and only care about your money. I received no drivers lessons and they would not refund me my money. Please beware and do not be deceived like I was. I took few classes with foothill driving school, excellent instructor. I was little nervous with driving but his instructions put me at ease. Just before the test he made me practice in the same routes that the DMV examiner will take us during the test at Folsom which really helped. I am so happy that I cleared the test. read more

Amazing! I learned so much from their lessons! I personally had Greg. He was great and made sure everything was perfected before my upcoming license test. On my second lesson, he took me for 40 minutes on the highway, even though highway lesson is the third lesson. It was a valuable experience. read more
