I opted for 4 lesson package @ Foot Hill Driving School and the classes by Dave was really good, giving the much needed confidence to drive. After the classes with Dave, I became more comfortable with the rules and driving. Went for the Behind the Wheel Driving Test with the Driving School car. My biggest concern, while scheduling the exam was that I may loose practice in the days between my last lesson and the actual exam day. But the practice session before the exam was a good warm up and bring us to the rhythm of facing the exam. Classes were really professional, I am sure that I got rid off my earlier bad habits in driving and all I learnt were good practices from Foot Hill Driving School. Advised my Wife as well to join the Driving classes in Foot Hill Driving School, to get a professional learning. 4 Lesson package is an ideal one to start. I would recommend 100% to choose this school for anyone who is looking for an option and go by the instructions of Foot Hill Driving School instructors. Best in class! Thank you Dave!! :) read more

I would HIGHLY recommend Foothill Driving School. Having recently moved to the USA, I found the instructors very friendly and efficient. Good communication skills are paramount in driving instructors - and Foothills gave clear direction and reasoning, without being too controlling. They let you leave how to drive in a way that is comfortable and progressive. They helped my overcome an obstacle that had been an issue for me for over 10 years - quite a remarkable achievement. Having compared a few local schools, the price they charge is good value and the administration (booking lessons, payment etc) is very easy. They certainly have a focus on creating safe drivers as well as ensuring you pass your test. Very impressive. read more

I can't say enough good things about Foothill Driving School! From the very first lesson, I felt comfortable and supported the instructors are patient, encouraging, and really know how to explain things in a way that actually makes sense. They helped me build real confidence. The preparation for the driving test was so thorough that I walked in feeling ready, not nervous and I passed! Honestly, I'm someone who's always recommending to friends and family when I find them, and Foothill Driving School is at the top of my list. If you or anyone you know is learning to drive, do yourself a favor and go with them. You'll be glad you did. Thank you, Foothill Driving School, for such a great experience! Rabia Najeeb read more

I took the 2 hour Manual Driving Lesson with Dave. It was a great experience. I wanted to take this lesson as a refresher, and I could not have chosen a better place to take it. Dave was great, we jumped into the lesson as soon as I got there. He shared all the tips I should know when operating a manual, and off we went. He was great at putting me a ease, and that allowed me to make a great natural progression throughout the lesson. Definitely recommend Foothill Driving School for anyone who needs to actually learn to drive, or for those like me who want some extra practice in other areas of driving. read more

I have been so pleased with Foothill Driving School! My son worked with Foothill a few years ago and had a great experience. He learned so much during his lessons and enjoyed working with the various driver instructors. My daughter is currently taking lessons and again the same experience. She has been a bit more anxious and nervous to drive, but during her first two lessons, Dave and Wes, two great instructors, have put her to ease. Their calm and patient demeanors have given her the confidence and knowledge to be a successful, safe driver. Thank you Foothill! read more

We had an excellent experience with Foothill Driving School! They provided both driving lessons and coordinated the driving test for our au pair, which made the entire process so smooth and stress-free. The instructors were patient, professional, and very encouraging. Having them handle all the coordination and logistics was incredibly convenient and gave us peace of mind. Our au pair felt well prepared and confident going into the test. Highly recommend Foothill Driving School for anyone looking for a supportive and organized driving school experience! read more

This is one of those businesses that just really does things right. My son had his first driving lesson (yikes) with Foothill and they could not have been better all the way through. The signup was easy, the office people were nice and professional, the instructor arrived on time and did a great job. He was really nice to my son and made him feel at ease (I thought he was going to hyperventilate before they arrived) through the lesson. Now it's my turn. Im told I will need to do some practice time with the boy... Look out roadways. Here we come. read more

My son loved every instructor and he felt so comfortable with all of them, great teachers and great people! He took all of his driving lessons here and we even decided to pay extra to use their car to take the test right after the last lesson. It was so worth it for the extra practice right before the test, they set the testing appointment up at the DMV for you and wait until you meet them back at the DMV after the test. Best part- he scored a 100% on the driving test!! Thank you all so much! See you in May with my next son!! read more

I too had a horrible experience here. I do not like writing bad reviews but if the shoe fits. My daughter had an appointment this summer which they rescheduled twice, when we were finally able to meet the first time Dave cut my daughters appointment short by ten minutes and told me he would makeup the time or give us a discount. The time was never made up and I never received a discount. Seems like a reoccurring theme here. I would strongly suggest going somewhere else. My daughter said she learned more from my husband. read more

Absolutey ridiculous driving school. I ordered the $300 DMV Requirements Package and was never assisted with the purchase. Every time I called to schedule an appointment, I was not called back. For one of my other children, Foothill Driving School even went so far as to pull off alongside of the road, during my son's appointment, to make appointments later on that day. If I could save you just a bit of pain and anguish, I would very much suggest not to even think about contacting Foothill Driving. Thank you. read more

Signed up online and I took my first class out of two classes given by Dave P. It was real good experience and its easy. He instructed like a good teacher and build lot of confidence on driving as well provided suggestions end of the session. Also more over DMV test he instructed the best way of driving safe and pass the behind the wheels test. I would recommend to my friends, this is good and more trust able driving school. read more

I can't possibly give Foothill Driving enough hate for what they've done to me. Words can't describe how unpunctual they are, as well as respectful and responsible. I am completely ashamed that I ever, even for a moment, thought they were a company worth driving with. Please don't place your child in Foothill's care. They will disappoint. Thank you. read more

Both my kids took all their driving lessons here and passed their test on the first try! Lessons were easy to book with a phone call. Instructors were all calm and professional. Most driving practice happens in Folsom, so the kids are prepared to handle the same streets they'll be driving if they take the test with the Folsom DMV. Slam dunk choice. read more

Great school. They really made my son feel at ease on his first lesson. The scheduling was easy, the office staff was very nice, and the instructor was good at what he did. Very patient and he had a good lesson plan. I just felt really good about the whole experience. They were professional and organized and just seemed to do things right. read more

Foothill Driving School was amazing with my son, Matt. He was nervous to drive & didn't get his license right away. After his first lesson, he felt confident & more relaxed on the road. The instructors were patient, kind & made him feel at ease. I will definitely have my daughter go through their driving program when she's ready to drive! read more

I can't even believe I'm giving Foothill Driving a 1/5 rating right now. I paid over $300 and had my money absolutely stolen from me. They simply do NOT have the customer in mind and only care about your money. I received no drivers lessons and they would not refund me my money. Please beware and do not be deceived like I was. Thank you. read more

I took few classes with foothill driving school, excellent instructor. I was little nervous with driving but his instructions put me at ease. Just before the test he made me practice in the same routes that the DMV examiner will take us during the test at Folsom which really helped. I am so happy that I cleared the test. read more

My wife and I had a great experience using Foothill Driving School for our oldest daughter. My daughter was very nervous at first but her instructor made her feel relaxed and built up her confidence. I have already signed up my other daughter for lessons and look forward to having another great driver in my family. read more

My daughter's instructor, Ron, was extremely kind and helpful. My daughter passed her driving test with only 4 points against her, which we mostly attribute to the excellent training from Foothill Driving School. Kim at the front desk is also incredibly helpful and has wonderful customer service skills. read more
