I've shopped at multiple Lowe's locations across the area for construction materials and bulk…read moreorders, and unfortunately the Burbank location has consistently been the most disappointing by far. A recurring issue is with online orders and quoted purchases. When you request a quote, it's fulfilled by that specific store location, and almost every time I've ordered from Burbank, they send the lowest-quality materials possible. Lumber orders regularly arrive with the worst pieces in stock -- heavily warped, crooked, or clearly the pieces other customers sorted through and left behind. Instead of selecting usable material, it feels like they just collect whatever was rejected and send it out. This hasn't just happened once. I've had the same experience with furring strips and other construction materials as well -- poor quality, damaged-looking, or unusable pieces that should never be going out in bulk orders. For comparison, I've ordered from other Lowe's locations including Northridge, Santa Clarita, Los Angeles, and Pacoima, and while no store is perfect, those locations at least do the basic job correctly. They send acceptable materials that reflect reasonable store quality. Not necessarily premium hand-picked stock, but solid, usable products. The Burbank location stands out for all the wrong reasons because this feels like a pattern, not a one-time mistake. If you're ordering construction materials online or through quotes and care at all about material quality, I would strongly recommend choosing a different Lowe's location.
