Dr. Cyrus has been my dentist for many years. He does really good dental work. I've had fillings, crowns and an implant after having a cracked tooth pulled. He gives good advice and is congenial. His dental assistant is also terrific when she and the doc do cleanings. I get early morning appointments so have no comments about waiting times. When I've had an emergency they always see me within a reasonable period of time depending on how serious the issue is. The office is well run and I schedule my next six month checkup/cleaning after my cleaning. They are really good with the communications and reminders. Highly recommend. read more

I have been coming here for nearly 10 years now and I just can't say enough good things about Dr. Susan Ezzati and the entire staff at Foothill Dental Care. The kindness and quality care begin as soon as you walk through the door and are greeted with a big smile by the receptionist, who is always nothing but helpful when scheduling appointments and processing the insurance. I come here for regular cleanings--which are always done quickly yet carefully--but I remember one time I had to come in for an emergency appointment due to a badly chipped tooth. It was a VERY last-minute appointment, but Dr. Susan and staff were able to squeeze me in between appointments and temporarily fix my chipped tooth (temporary being ~1.5 years until I got a more permanent veneer later). She worked meticulously to create a temporary tooth shade that PERFECTLY matched the rest of my teeth, and within an hour or so, my tooth was as good as new! if you're an elder on a fixed income, this is a great way to go. very professional. students are watched very carefully by their instructors. it typically take several sessions so you're not gonna get it done in one session. The students and professors are very kind they try to set you at ease. my body reacts to seeing needles but they take their time. and always tell you what they're going to do before they do it. my hygienist was very personable and didn't treat me like a number. I really appreciated that. I do think they really care about their patients. I would not hesitate to recommend them. read more

I have been a patient of Dr Ezzati for about ten years. The dental clinic I went to before was dirty, and they overcharged me for some procedures. I never have a problem with billing with Foothill Dental. And their cleanliness is top-notch. They also constantly upgrade their systems (new software that stores your dental records). And they are pretty good about keeping to the appointment times (since people do need to go back to work). Highly recommended! read more

I highly recommend Susan Ezzati. And I have had a *lot* of bad dentists. I first found her through 1-800 dentist. She's very professional and pleasant. I've had some fillings taken care of. She asks if you have any dental concerns and tells you what she's keeping an eye on. She has a no pressure approach as per elective stuff you may be considering, or updating appliance (like a night guard). When she talks about the possibility of a root canal (of which I've had two by other dentists), she suggests a root canal specialist, though she can do it herself. I like that she's not pushing for what's best for her financially, but what's best for you. I don't think you'll be disappointed with Dr. Susan. The staff is always very nice. Like the other reviewers said, Dr. Ezzati is very nice and conservative. She will not recommend any unnecessary procedures and would start with the least invasive treatment. I had a chipped tooth and she recommended to use a temporary filling before getting a crown. It's been a few months now and has worked well so far. One time I had a filling that didn't feel right, so I had to go back twice to adjust. She was patient and attentive. My two kids used to go to a well-known pediatric dentist on Welch Rd, who required upfront payment and does not take insurance; but now they've been going to Dr. Ezzati for 2 yrs as well. I haven't had any major work performed (thankfully), so can't comment on that. read more

I LOVE Dr Cyrus Ezzati. He is absolutely amazing and is extremely knowledgeable. My husband always struggled with his teeth and when we met Dr. Cyrus he identified his heartburn as the source of his issues and advised that all the work we had done in the past was not necessary. The reason his review gets a 2 star instead of a 4 or 5 is because of his staff. They are completely incompetent. ALWAYS keep track of your available balance with your dental insurance because their job to send claims to insurance is a COURTESY and if at any moment the service charges exceed that amount you are 100% liable for those charges. This is all understandable, you get work done and someone has to pay for it. Nothing is free in this world but my problem with his staff is that they do not communicate or listen very well. Dr Ezzati and I had looked at the work needed and prioritized the work that HAD to get done and said we would work on the others until my funds ran out. My agreement with them was to have some work done NEVER to exceed my available allowance on my dual insurances. After every visit, I would check with the "Finance Manager," not sure if she is even qualified to call herself that, to ensure insure that the claims had been accepted by my insurances and that we had a balance left over to cover the charges of the services we were scheduling and I was assured that everything was fine and I had plenty of funds still available. Well after all was said and done, I get a HUGE bill in the mail saying the insurance did not cover almost $1,000 of the services that Dr. Cyrus provided. I was completely blindsided. How is it that I owe so much when I was just told that all was covered by my insurances. After a LONG back and forth, I was told that I needed to pay the money or I was going to be sent to collections. They worked out a payment plan and gave me a discount but I can't help feel like their incompetence has left me with a hole in my pocket incurring all these costs that could've been avoided if they would've communicated as I had asked to begin with. Needless to say, I will never visit his office again. read more

I have been going to Foothill Dental since I moved from Maryland in 1990 soon after they opened. Since that time, I have never had a complaint with the service I have received. I came to them with a lot of dental issues that I've had since childhood, and all of these and subsequent problems have been resolved to my satisfaction. To be honest, I don't like going to the dentist EVER ... but with all the problems with my teeth and gums, I cannot avoid those visits. So I am happy that all of dentists and technicians who treated me at Foothill are competent, friendly and gentle. Since I have a severe gag reflex making their job even more difficult, I have to add patient to their attributes ... and I never had to wait for more than a few minutes to be served--nor was I chastised for the many times I was late for my appointment. There were a few times when I was facing financial difficulties, and the owners worked with me to reduce the overall cost and make payments over a longer period. With the remodel, they are able to provide an expanded variety of services. The business location is right off the freeway (680) and parking is never a problem.
