if you're an elder on a fixed income, this is a great way to go. very professional. students are watched very carefully by their instructors. it typically take several sessions so you're not gonna get it done in one session. The students and professors are very kind they try to set you at ease. my body reacts to seeing needles but they take their time. and always tell you what they're going to do before they do it. my hygienist was very personable and didn't treat me like a number. I really appreciated that. I do think they really care about their patients. I would not hesitate to recommend them. read more

Dr. Cyrus has been my dentist for many years. He does really good dental work. I've had fillings, crowns and an implant after having a cracked tooth pulled. He gives good advice and is congenial. His dental assistant is also terrific when she and the doc do cleanings. I get early morning appointments so have no comments about waiting times. When I've had an emergency they always see me within a reasonable period of time depending on how serious the issue is. The office is well run and I schedule my next six month checkup/cleaning after my cleaning. They are really good with the communications and reminders. Highly recommend. read more

It was my first time at this office and I didn't really know what to expect. The check in took a little longer than I hoped but the staff handled it professionally. The waiting area was average but clean and quiet enough. Once inside, the assistant was friendly and made sure to go over the basics without making it awkward or rushed. They seemed to know their process well. read more

Dr. Ezzati and her staff are absolute professionals - they provide you all the necessary care within the allotted time frame, and never try to upsell you services or procedures. I have been going to Foothill Dental for 5+ years, and absolutely love the care. read more

I have been coming here for nearly 10 years now and I just can't say enough good things about Dr. Susan Ezzati and the entire staff at Foothill Dental Care. The kindness and quality care begin as soon as you walk through the door and are greeted with a big smile by the receptionist, who is always nothing but helpful when scheduling appointments and processing the insurance. I come here for regular cleanings--which are always done quickly yet carefully--but I remember one time I had to come in for an emergency appointment due to a badly chipped tooth. It was a VERY last-minute appointment, but Dr. Susan and staff were able to squeeze me in between appointments and temporarily fix my chipped tooth (temporary being ~1.5 years until I got a more permanent veneer later). She worked meticulously to create a temporary tooth shade that PERFECTLY matched the rest of my teeth, and within an hour or so, my tooth was as good as new! I sincerely appreciate all of the staff's care and hard work that goes into making the patient's experience a good one. If you're looking for a dentist in the Bay Area, this is definitely one you should try out! read more

I have been going here for 30 years. Still the best place to go. Cyrus is my dentist and he does a great job.

Dr. Susan Ezzati is attentive, caring, knowledgeable and professional. I have been coming here for, wow... more than 20 years now. I appreciate her gentle and careful touch to her craft. She has never tried to push extra services or procedures on me. I trust her feedback and opinions about my dental care. Everyone there is kind and friendly. When I briefly lived in Saratoga I tried a new dentist who seemed like she was poking and tearing my gums the whole time. I quickly switched back to Dr. Ezzati - totally worth the drive from there. Since moving back, I'm ever so grateful to have nearby a dentist I trust. read more

I have been going to Dr. Susan for many years, and so has our family. As soon as you walk in, the staff gives you a warm welcome. Dr. Susan makes you feel comfortable. And they have the latest technology. But the best part is that they have bubble gum flavored paste for cleaning your teeth! read more

We have been going to this dental practice for over 20 years. Quality of care is exceptional.

I am a dental technician and first got a change to work with Dr. Ezzati as a dental professional and see things, that patients do not have a chance to see or experience from technical view. I always enjoyed working with Dr. Cyrus crown impressions and preparations, this guy definitely has best hands and knowledge. Knowing this I choose to became his patient and never regret about this. Besides getting the best professional treatment I could only hope for, I always feel very appreciated and welcomed by Dr. Ezzati humanity and his very warm personality. Foothill Dental Care - At the dentist @foothilldental - General Dentistry Near Me - Los Altos, California

I have been a patient of Dr Ezzati for about ten years. The dental clinic I went to before was dirty, and they overcharged me for some procedures. I never have a problem with billing with Foothill Dental. And their cleanliness is top-notch. They also constantly upgrade their systems (new software that stores your dental records). And they are pretty good about keeping to the appointment times (since people do need to go back to work). Highly recommended! read more

Dr Susan is an excellent doctor. She is very clear and explains everything thing she is doing and also why it's being done. She is always open to questions and answers them very nicely. I went through atleast 3 dentists in bay area and she is the only one I could understand. The support staff is good as well. read more

Instructions are fine but treat a first time patient with more care not in such a patronizing tone. Brush harder was the advice given. Maybe genetics play a part vs power solves all problems. read more

Dr. Susan Ezzati is a kind and compassionate dentist. The entire staff is so pleasant and welcoming- from scheduling to X-rays and exam to cleaning, this was by far my most pleasant and gentle dental experience ever. read more

Dr. Ezzati is the best dentist I have ever been to. Now, I've been to many dentists and being a medical professional myself, it takes a lot to impress me. She is meticulous and is very conservative with what she recommends. While another dentist may recommend a root canal, Dr. Ezzati will recommend a filling -- and she will try to avoid a root canal. What a concept -- be the least invasive as possible! I wish other dentists could learn from her. read more

Dr. Ezzati is the dentist for my whole family. My two young boys really like her a lot. She is gentle and doesn't have big manly hands that can pry your face open when cleaning your teeth--I like that. Her brother is also a dentist, so if you call, specify who you want an appointment with. I'm going to my appointment this afternoon and am totally looking forward to it. Google her if you want to see patient reviews, but my advice is to consider her for your routine dental needs. read more

I was a patient of Dr. Cyrus Ezzati for almost 20 years until I moved from Bay Area to another city. As I was trying to find a new dentist, I realized how great Dr. Ezzati was. He is a skilled, empathetic, and simply the best dentist I have ever had. I highly recommend him. read more

I see Dr. Cyrus Ezzati and he is wonderful. Super gentle and always does the cleaning himself. Everyone in the office is very friendly and knows what they are doing. Also, they are very accommodating with appointment times. I came here on a recommendation and now I am a regular and I often recommend this dentist to my friends and family. read more

Been going there for about 3 years. Very friendly front-desk & dental assistant staff. Generally very pleased. Prices a little on the high side. But then isn't everything in Los Altos! Dr. S. Ezzati is very meticulous, makes sure to answer all your questions and concerns. She's detail oriented and a bit of a perfectionist, which when it comes to your teeth and spending hard-earned $$$, is a good thing to have. She understands the important of aesthetics as well as the dental hygiene and health. Happy to recommend her. read more

Our family has been with both Cyrus and Susan for a dozen years. I appreciate their professionalism, also their explanation of procedures. I like to be a participant in my treatment options and they do facilitate this. Highly recommended. read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Cyrus Ezzati for the past 16 years. Dr. Cyrus is a skilled, knowledgeable, and kind dentist. The office staff (especially Rachel at the front desk) has become like family. Whether it is for a routine dental check up or an emergency situation, they are wonderful. I highly recommend this practice. read more

I highly recommend Susan Ezzati. And I have had a *lot* of bad dentists. I first found her through 1-800 dentist. She's very professional and pleasant. I've had some fillings taken care of. She asks if you have any dental concerns and tells you what she's keeping an eye on. She has a no pressure approach as per elective stuff you may be considering, or updating appliance (like a night guard). When she talks about the possibility of a root canal (of which I've had two by other dentists), she suggests a root canal specialist, though she can do it herself. I like that she's not pushing for what's best for her financially, but what's best for you. I don't think you'll be disappointed with Dr. Susan. The staff is always very nice. Rachel at front desk is great. read more

I asked friends who is their dentist when I moved my family from NY. I had waited a little longer than recommended to go to the dentist (partly because of a recent relocation, partly due to my childhood fear of dentists), so I was a little nervous at my visit. I recently became a new patient of Dr. Susan Ezzati and I had a pleasant experience. Like most people I dread going to the dentist. I generally find cleanings painful but she was gentle. She kept asking me during the cleaning if I was doing ok. I'll be going to her for many years to come. read more

Like the other reviewers said, Dr. Ezzati is very nice and conservative. She will not recommend any unnecessary procedures and would start with the least invasive treatment. I had a chipped tooth and she recommended to use a temporary filling before getting a crown. It's been a few months now and has worked well so far. One time I had a filling that didn't feel right, so I had to go back twice to adjust. She was patient and attentive. My two kids used to go to a well-known pediatric dentist on Welch Rd, who required upfront payment and does not take insurance; but now they've been going to Dr. Ezzati for 2 yrs as well. I haven't had any major work performed (thankfully), so can't comment on that. read more

We found Dr Susan Ezzatti after a very poor experience at another dentist. We have been going there at least 10 years. She and her staff are very friendly, do an excellent job. I recently saw Dr Cyrus Ezzatti- he was great also. read more

I LOVE Dr Cyrus Ezzati. He is absolutely amazing and is extremely knowledgeable. My husband always struggled with his teeth and when we met Dr. Cyrus he identified his heartburn as the source of his issues and advised that all the work we had done in the past was not necessary. The reason his review gets a 2 star instead of a 4 or 5 is because of his staff. They are completely incompetent. ALWAYS keep track of your available balance with your dental insurance because their job to send claims to insurance is a COURTESY and if at any moment the service charges exceed that amount you are 100% liable for those charges. This is all understandable, you get work done and someone has to pay for it. Nothing is free in this world but my problem with his staff is that they do not communicate or listen very well. Dr Ezzati and I had looked at the work needed and prioritized the work that HAD to get done and said we would work on the others until my funds ran out. My agreement with them was to have some work done NEVER to exceed my available allowance on my dual insurances. After every visit, I would check with the "Finance Manager," not sure if she is even qualified to call herself that, to ensure insure that the claims had been accepted by my insurances and that we had a balance left over to cover the charges of the services we were scheduling and I was assured that everything was fine and I had plenty of funds still available. Well after all was said and done, I get a HUGE bill in the mail saying the insurance did not cover almost $1,000 of the services that Dr. Cyrus provided. I was completely blindsided. How is it that I owe so much when I was just told that all was covered by my insurances. After a LONG back and forth, I was told that I needed to pay the money or I was going to be sent to collections. They worked out a payment plan and gave me a discount but I can't help feel like their incompetence has left me with a hole in my pocket incurring all these costs that could've been avoided if they would've communicated as I had asked to begin with. Needless to say, I will never visit his office again. read more

I have been going to Foothill Dental since I moved from Maryland in 1990 soon after they opened. Since that time, I have never had a complaint with the service I have received. I came to them with a lot of dental issues that I've had since childhood, and all of these and subsequent problems have been resolved to my satisfaction. To be honest, I don't like going to the dentist EVER ... but with all the problems with my teeth and gums, I cannot avoid those visits. So I am happy that all of dentists and technicians who treated me at Foothill are competent, friendly and gentle. Since I have a severe gag reflex making their job even more difficult, I have to add patient to their attributes ... and I never had to wait for more than a few minutes to be served--nor was I chastised for the many times I was late for my appointment. There were a few times when I was facing financial difficulties, and the owners worked with me to reduce the overall cost and make payments over a longer period. With the remodel, they are able to provide an expanded variety of services. The business location is right off the freeway (680) and parking is never a problem. These are the reasons I've stayed a patient at Foothill Dental for nearly 30 years. Tanya Freudenberger read more
