Everyone at Dr. Field's office exemplifies Concierge Dentristry. Think of regular commercial airlines as being the usual dentist's office - and Dr. Field's office being the latest Gulf Stream G700 private long range jet. And Dr. Field is THE BEST. What he did with my mouth is nothing short of a total transformation, health wise for my mouth , bite wise and appearance wise. My new smile (26 teeth - 12 uppers and 14 lowers) is getting praises from everyone for looking so natural and pretty! Which of course makes me smile all the time now:)

If you're using Cal Dental, they do accept it. I definitely felt lucky to get in so quickly. When I arrived for my appointment, I immediately noticed how clean the place was. Melanie was very welcoming, got me settled in, and took X-rays. Dr. Rios checked my teeth, and I had a full cleaning done. Melanie also showed me how to floss properly using two fingers. Overall, a great experience, I would definitely come back. If I were come back for cleaning, cash price was also reasonable, around ~110, my case might be different than yours. It's the office choice to accept you as a patient or not, was lucky they are accepting new patients right now so please be patient and nice!

My experience was mixed. The front desk staff was pleasant, and the assistant was very, very nice…read moreand welcoming. I appreciated how thoroughly the assistant went over everything with me before the doctor came in. Unfortunately, my experience with the doctor was quite different. While examining my teeth, she did not ask me any questions or really communicate with me at all. I was unable to have X-rays because I am pregnant, which I understand, but I still expected the appointment to include some level of communication and attentiveness. During the cleaning, the doctor assumed that I had not been flossing regularly because I had been experiencing nausea. She told me, "I know you're nauseous, but you need to try and floss every day." I explained that I was not nauseous and that it would have been more appropriate and appreciated if she had simply asked me rather than making an assumption. She did not respond and continued the appointment without any meaningful communication. Unfortunately, I left feeling as though I was not treated like a person or that my individual concerns mattered. The lack of communication, care, and concern was very noticeable and made the experience uncomfortable. While the assistant was wonderful, my interaction with the doctor was enough that I do not plan to return.

From the phone call, where the receptionist attentively answers all scheduling logistics questions, to the dedicated dental assistants and doctors who go out of their way to make every family feel totally at home- this office covers all the bases. Their warm receptionists are well-versed in checking insurance eligibility and the treatment coordinator is great about calculating accurate co-pay amounts. There are never any hidden fees or surprises for the bill, which is a welcome reprieve from all the red tape that can come with large, DSO-owned offices. It's comforting to come to a private, single proprietor owned practice, with personal accountability. It's reassuring that their financial coordinator bills out-of-network dental insurances as a courtesy to us, and the small difference in co-pay is certainly worth it, for high quality, personalized care. Their spacious waiting room has all of the necessary amenities: plenty of comfortable seating, a wide array of tea and coffee, and educational toys for the kids to play with, while waiting. The kids adore the rustic rocking horse, while they sit and watch their favorite Disney movie that's streaming on the large, flat screen TV. To our pleasant surprise, all of the children, even for filling appointments, happily follow the caring dental assistants back into the clinical room. No child looks anxious, which is rare, given that this is a dental setting. This is such a huge relief for parents, who can totally relax and have confidence when allowing their children to follow the RDA into the clinical area. The assistants and dental associates are all calibrated to deliver the same, high quality dental care that Dr. Cindy prides her team in. Dr. Omid is so gentle and soft-spoken. Dr. Ivan Lee places stunning cosmetic restorations on baby and adult teeth. He is an absolute perfectionist. Dr. Andrew Huang has this soothing and calming effect on even the most nervous kids. He's very thorough with exams, and clearly explains every finding. All of their dentists do excellent treatment, such that even the most fearful children have no reservations about moving forward and returning. I have no reservation about recommending this practice for kids and young adults alike. Everyone leaves with a beautiful, healthy smile here!
