In the middle of the massage one therapist abruptly left - the next therapist called out "is everything ok" and the second therapist left. They were gone for about 5 mins. We were left lying there wondering if something was wrong or if it was over? The therapists also were talking to each other and laughing during the massages. Over all not a great experience. Found it odd they hovered over the machine as I was checking out and leaving a tip. I paid via tap to pay and then I left a Cash tip but FYI - the preprogrammed starting tip options are 30%, 40% and 50%. At some point it's just out of hand. So a 50% tip on top of an $80 service? Won't be back.

I have been LONG overdue for a massage. I spotted this place a while ago and decided to look them…read moreup. No reviews? Pretty odd, especially since they've been around at least a year. I finally called in yesterday to see if they take walk ins, and they do. I made my way there and arrived shortly before 6 pm. The lady I spoke with over the phone said they no longer offered the specials posted on Yelp, but she did offer to add in hot stones for me, no charge (since I'm a new client). Upon arrival, no one was at the desk, but she quickly came down the hall and greeted me. I was looking for a cross between deep tissue and Swedish. She said the Swedish massage is meant to be relaxing and that if I wanted my knots out, she recommended the deep tissue. I've had both before, but nowadays I tend to lean towards a medium pressure massage. I chose the deep tissue. I was then led to room 3, which was clean and ready for me. I did have to use the restroom before we got started and I'm glad to say the restroom is clean! I went back to the room and went commando!! LOL A different lady came in and started warming me up over the thin sheet that I crawled under. You'll start face down on the massage table and then end up laying on your back. As far as the massage, she didn't do a bad job, but it also wasn't the best I've had. My trouble spots are my left shoulder and neck areas. I have knots in those places 24/7. While the pressure was okay, I would have liked it a bit deeper. Overall though, it wasn't bad. I did walk away feeling refreshed, but my knots remain. =/ I dropped a star because the deep tissue wasn't as "deep" to me. The walls are also thin, so whenever someone walked in, you could hear the lady greet them loud and clear. Also, you have to "prepay to play!" You pay upfront before you get the massage, and there's a $2 fee if you pay by card. Then, if you don't carry cash like me, you can tip by card after your massage, but they won't charge you the $2 fee, so there's that. This is the first place I've been to in AZ for a massage. I'll have to explore other options, but this place wasn't all that bad.

What I am saying is she is actually therapeutic and with a good memory. Even very good therapist will hurt me in the same places when I return. I am speaking of a healthy but sensitive area. In my case on a spot on both left and right side of my torso. At the first spa I received massage from Meigui a customer guest came in not able to lift his right arm more than horizontally but left with what I am guessing was full range of motion. Only Meigui remembered my neck and how best to massage it. It will never be close to normal but is always strongly improved after Meigui. Instead of a lot of crackling it becomes 85% better.

The massage rooms are similar to how cubicles look, but go almost to the ceiling. Keyword, almost. At some point another worker opened our room door to see if the room was available and I do wonder if the other person waiting for a massage got a full moon from me. The massage therapist also play music in their rooms, separately. So if the person in the room next to you had music going it's two of the same or different tunes just clashing. I don't mind that the massage therapist didn't really speak too much English but just the Swedish massage I received was probably one of the weirdest ones yet. I know no two massages are the same but I wonder if the people at this location are licensed? Massage seekers definitely be aware. I left a little more tense than I arrived I think, and my neck is a lot low sore than it would be after a typical Swedish massage. It was not the relaxing massage experience I was hoping for, and yet, I still tipped.
