The cashier, Arianna (hopefully I'm spelling her name correctly), was amazing -- friendly, professional, and welcoming. She made the process easy. However, what appeared to be the manager approached during the return and asked Arianna if she had inspected the items. I stated clearly that the dresses were brand new, tags intact, and I had just removed them from the plastic while waiting in line. The tone and approach felt unnecessary and uncomfortable. Additionally, this same woman was near the entrance adjusting merchandise when I walked in and did not greet me at all. First impressions matter. My online customer service experience was excellent, and I'm glad I initiated the return beforehand. Unfortunately, the in-store interaction with the manager made the experience feel tense and unwelcoming. I will likely be reaching out to a district manager to share this feedback, as customer service at the leadership level should reflect professionalism and courtesy.

The manager made no effort to look up the item or find the price and simply refused to sell it. It felt like they didn't want to help. This Target collects 5 cents deposit on nearly every carbonated and non-carbonated beverage (even…read morewater) that they sell, as every store does. It doesn't sound like much, but if you buy a lot like I do, those nickels add up fast. This location, however, will not refund your money (as required by law). Technically, they have four machines outside the store, around back, but they are literally always broken. They won't refund your money at the service counter inside either. So, they're just keeping everyone's money. Also, they start restocking their shelves hours before closing, so you can't even get down the aisles in the grocery section. Customer service is extremely lacking as well. Additionally, be careful because the prices marked on the shelves often don't match what they charge at the register.
