Walking in there was no salutations, just a direct sales approach more of a cold contact engagement with no ice breaking. After I informed the person in the front of my desires, she escorted me to a certain section, I passed another salesperson who locked eyes and gave a warmer greeting that made me feel more at ease. I didn't find what I wanted because the fad is skinny pants, I do not wear anything skinny, that's not my style and that's predominantly what this store stocks. The sweater and shirt that I tried were fitting on the smaller size as well. I was informed that they do special orders for a classic fit but the price would be doubled, starting at $350. My personal opinion, the fashion industry should consider that they can't force a person to adapt to the current styles so bring back the styles were all men can have choices and not succumb to a certain fad. There was slight turbulence leaving the store due to the person assisting me asked the sales rep for help with locating my desires by referring me to another company. He said he didn't know but I guess he was thinking on it and passed the information to me and the sales lady rudely interrupted him saying that he told her that he didn't know of any locations. The improvement needed, in my eyes and my plus one's eye were, 1. Don't throw your sales representative under the bus, save the disagreements for the empty store. 2. Don't leave the front unattended, especially when you ask the rep to assist. Well. The search continues!

I was the first of the…read moregroomsmen to show up, only to find out that none of the suits that we ordered were in-store, and that we would each need to drive out to the store for individual measurements before they could even order our suits, then come back again for alteration measurements, then again to check and make changes to the alterations, then a fourth time to pick up the suits. Not convenient when most of the groomsmen live in NYC. The groom was told by a salesmen that the alterations were included in the package price that he was quoted, but I found out upon arriving that this was a bait and switch, and we only had $20 off alterations. This covered less than 1/3 of my alterations. The manager refused to honor the salesman's promise to the groom when I was in store. He actually raised his voice at me and I walked out. To top it all off, on the wedding day some of the other groomsmen's alterations were off and the suits didn't fit right. Avoid at all costs! :)

I ordered a pair from amazon but they didn't fit, so those got returned. I took my son last night to look for sneakers since online ordering didn't work out. First we were in Freeport, Target had nothing, Sketcher's closed too early, Marshall's and Burlington didn't have much of a selection. So we ended up in Kohl's. I was about to give up at Kohl's. My son can't tie sneakers yet and he was insisting on an aquamarine pair. Close to closing a young sales guy appeared and started to help us. He showed my son different colors similar to aquamarine nothing was a good enough color. Finally he suggested getting a white pair of shoes and painting them with nail polish. I might try acrylic paint. He fitted my son for a white pair of Vans but we couldn't buy them because the registers had already closed. I'm supposed to take my son back on Friday after I get him to Kohl's to actually purchase the shoes. The young salesman's name was Aiden I think. The staff does a great job keeping the store neat and tidy and they have plenty of cashiers on the floor to keep the line smoothly quickly. They currently have an awesome 50% off sale on most clothes so I was able to pick up a few really fun graphic t-shirts for a great price. They even had some pretty nifty recycled goods that caught my eye, as they were only $5 and were made with Ocean Bound Plastic (plastic collected from coastline communities with no recycling in place). I picked up a modular lunch box and also some reusable cutlery that will surely come in handy when canoeing or camping. Also if you're in need for flip flops for the beach or July 4th, they have a ton of different styles for only $5 a pair as well!
