Every time a retro pair drops, he tries to get it. We went here this past Saturday to pick up his shoes. When he opened the box there was a flaw on the shoe (red coloring on the white part of the shoe). He explained the issue to the girl working behind the register and she went and got him another pair. Again, there was something wrong with the shoe (I know eye roll--but seriously when shoes cost $200 they should be good to go). These shoes were worse than the 1st pair. She told him that every shoe is going to have flaws and basically just to suck it up. I understand he may be a little pickier than your normal shoe guy, but at the same time you are selling defective product and maybe your attitude should be directed somewhere other than your customers.

The clearance rack had plenty of cute, name-brand shoes. I've been on a hunt for Toms shoes. Although many stores carry Toms shoes, I'm very picky about the style/color. Just as I was about to give up, they had Toms on display, and some were on sale! Must be my lucky day because the design I wanted was sold here. In fact, it was one of the on sale items! The sales lady was very nice, attentive, and even brought out another pair of the same size because I noticed a slight imperfection on a pair I was trying. They tend to have a lot of classic shoe shapes but jazz them up with color and pattern as opposed to keeping them solid. The shoes themselves tend to be the focal point of the outfit instead of the other. If you are a shoe lover, you must give this place a try!

I've only been to two sneaker boutiques in Central Ohio and this one has a much better selection. It was busy and a little hard to hard to get help. I ended up buying a pair of sneakers that I've been eying for a long time. The buying experience was rushed. You want to make sure the $300 sneakers you are buying are a good fit and comfortable. I feel you get better service at The House of Hoops by Foot Locker (and they usually only have one person working) Ultimately, I got the shoes I was looking for.
