These grocery stores are all over the island and not only have some of the best poke on the island. It also is one of the best priced all around for their poke and all their other food options. Cheap bentos and in a great plaza can't really go wrong if you are looking for good food here

Shopping in Kapolei, O'ahu, Hawai'i... I actually went to this Foodland because there's a Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf inside! I also had to use the restroom... At Customer Service, the pleasant clerk called a worker to escorted me to the back... It was an employees only area. It was almost like a maze, but it was a necessity! Thank you! Since I was there, I looked at the new promotional bags... mango, guava, and lychee paintings... hmmm... I also looked at the famous poke, cute plushies, fresh produce, greeting cards, SPAM merchandise, etc. Thanks for a clean, spacious, organized environment!

Tofu poke, spicy salmon poke, shoyu poke!

Foodland is the place to go for fresh poke of all flavors!! They also have local eats that can't be missed! - highly recommend the shoyu salmon or ahi tuna (your preference for fish) and the ube mochi!! - can't miss getting a bunch of spam musubi to enjoy right away on the go

When I think of Foodland, I immediately think fresh poke! Every time I walk in, I'm reminded why I love this place. The local flavors, the fun variety, and the consistently great experience. There's always something delicious to try, and the poke options never miss.

Went to Foodland Kapolei this morning for a "few" items. As always, the store is pristine, clean and orderly. Without hesitation, we made a beeline straight to the Poke Department. Loaded up on our favorites including: California Roll Poke, Fresh Spicy Ahi, Salmon Poke, etc. The Staff was very friendly and helpful with us. They also have a huge Wine and Spirits section that fit anyone's tastes and needs. Fresh grub, great location check out Foodland Kapolei and load up on the stuff you need. Aloha Foodland!

If you're staying in the Ko Olina area, I highly recommend checking out Foodland, especially for their fantastic selection of premade food--particularly their poke, which is made fresh daily! Be sure to sign up for their Makai rewards program so you can enjoy discounts and get the best local prices. In my opinion, Foodland surpasses Vons in quality and variety. If you're watching your budget, keep an eye out for the weekly ads at both stores; they're conveniently located near each other. FYI - Parking is super tight!

My favorite Foodland when staying out West side, Always make a stop to this Foodland location ( Kapolei) for the good stuff. During Super Bowl when we stay out in Ko'olina, its a much needed stop for alchohol, poke, chips, last minute stuff for the game! & this most recent visit was during July 4th! Thank you for staying open! It was late after 8 pm, after day of swimming we didn't have plans for dinner. Stopped here to get container of spicy poke and King Crab Poke. I had the crab on my mind while enjoying my day of relaxing. On the way there, I was worried they wouldn't have any poke/crab left. Yay I got our goods! I loved this Foodland, huge, very organized. I glanced really quick at front of store , gift and plant section, since I might end up buying plants and cute trinkets. The poke section is all the way in the back, if its super busy - you will have to pull a number to be be served. The cashier are friendly and quick, I never had problems with my purchase. The lines do get long but I noticed there are more registers opened up when it gets packed. Back at the hotel and my family are sure enjoying the poke and the crab for me, make sure the pot of rice is cooked! hehe. If you haven't tried the king crab poke, you are missing out! This is my favorite @29.99 lb, so worth it! Super buttery, tender and delicately sweet, they are pre-cut, huge size legs, so good with rice! Ask for extra butter sauce, I know so buttery bad for you but its so good! I hope this is a regular item! Thank you @Foodland = Food, Family, Friends, & Aloha! Yep. Yes. I Agree!!

Food lover heaven... Located in Kapolei Village Center this Foodland is stunning as it's obviously new but the layout is nice and roomy with each section has a huge sign so you know if you're heading in the right direction with Bake Shop, Butcher and of Poke just to name a few they also have R.Field Wine Company right in the middle where you're able to find various cured meats and condiments along with cigars as well. All this in a grocery store where you're still able to find all your necessities and I do love that they carry many local items to support our small amazing biz along with the most fun and expressive eco shopping tote bags that I do have a difficult time resisting, Foodland is a place to find the usual and unusual items making it easy to get everything that you need. Thank you!

We traveled from the Mainland & needed supplies for a Wedding Rehearsal Dinner. We purchased all of the flowers from Foodland & were very happy with their selection.

If you're going to Hawaii, please don't pass on this spot! I heard that Foodland Poke was good, but I did not expect it to be great! My boyfriend and I came through 3x in our 1 week stay because it was sooooo good! I love the variety available here and the quality is fresh! I expected it to be a little low quality because it was around $8 - $12 for a bowl, but I was definitely wrong. I may even say this is better than some of the more well-known Poke places in Honolulu.

What are the hours for the poke counter?

Kapolei Foodland - 6am daily

Are prices better at Foodland or Safeway?

It depends what you shop for. Our family like Foodland and the prices best for the things that we buy.

It's an ABC store with a made to order kitchen, so you could order hot food as well. They have monthly specials, coffee and other drink options (milk tea, smoothies, etc) - and all the cute souvenirs you could imagine! If you don't see musubi's out, just ask. They may have some in the back. They also have katsu musubi's ($5). We ordered a few things here and everything was pretty good! Even the loco moco was better than the one at our resort... If you order from the smoothie counter (where they have smoothies, açaí bowls, milk tea, pastries and gelato) - get a punch card. There's $5 off once you get 10 punches. Also, you have to pay for parking. Don't try to pass this up. We've seen the tow truck a few times here, doing their job! Overall, it's a great option away from resort prices!

I ordered a beef stew this time with double rice and in their coffee and smoothie area they had mango sticky rice which I have been wanting to try for a while. It was actually really good! I told myself that I would only spend 30 minutes here, but I ended up extending my parking four times. No regrets and no parking ticket.

I like the convenience of knowing that they open at 6am-ish... Most times it opens up around 6:04 to 6:05 depending upon who's in charge of that area. The store is typical of Wal Mart's layout. Rows and aisles of clothing, food, household goods, etc. Most employees are nice and some you can tell are just trying to make it until break time, which is okay because we all have "days". My biggest issue is having to navigate through aisles that are riddled with pallets and merch needing to be shelved. Sometimes they'll be multiple employees in one aisle with their merch carts crammed against each other try to stock shelves. They're focused and most often won't move for you to get your shopping cart through, let alone get what you need off of the shelf. There are (2) restrooms, one is located in the back near the fabric area and one across the cash registers next to the eyeglass shop. The bathrooms are always clean and stocked. Again, it's a toss up between speaking with a nice, cordial employee and an employee who's just going through it. My recommendation is to have a plan if you're short on time. Especially for people who start work at 6:30am and the store is slow to open at 6am. Have a plan and be ready to do an audible in the event that the area you need items from are congested with merch carts and pallets.

All kinds of fruit and vegetables were available for sale along with fresh poi, filipino pastries, and a variety of fresh herbs. Prices were really cheap and the vendors were really friendly. I definitely would go again. I am super happy with a bag of five tomatoes that I picked up for only $2! If you want Thai basil, it is only 50 cents a bunch, and pastries start at only 50 cents among lots of other items. Parking is street parking. There were lots of parking available. One thing though is that this farmer's market is a really early one ending at around 730 or 8 am. Cash only and open only on Sundays.
