We like the fact there's a little bitty store inside the grocery store as well and when you first walk in there's a soda machine, a machine where you can get stuffed animals a Coinstar and you can spend a certain amount of money and come home with 15 bags or more so affordable that's why me and my husband love that story because it's great and they have a big nice clean bathroom for men and women and people who work at customer service cashier everyone who works at the Winco is polite and sweet and very helpful. I should have known better. It's the same shit-show every time I shop here and they don't care about customer service because they know they're the only option for late night shopping. Zero points for customer service.

You can never have too many Sprouts!…read more Said no one ever, except maybe little kids who hate brussels sprouts lol Just when it seems like Sprouts has been opening location after location after location after location in and around the LBC, we now have another one that just opened in Paramount on Paramount. If you recall where the ACE Hardware used to be, that's where Sprouts is now, though the ACE Hardware building was demolished to make way for the Farmers Market store, located further away from the main road. I came for the grand opening, and it was a great experience! Their grand opening weekend started on Friday morning with a ribbon cutting. The first 200 shoppers would receive a free usable tote bag with some goodies inside as well as a long stem rose from Falcon Farms Floral. The next 200 shoppers would just get said stem rose. I wasn't able to go on Friday, so I made it a point to go on Saturday morning where they gave out tote bags, but not stem roses. Doors opened at 7 AM. I came at about 6:30 AM, thinking there'd be a line throughout the parking lot, but upon my arrival, the line wrapped around one corner of the building. As we were waiting in line, some employees came out to greet us, either by advertising Sprouts' new rewards program or bringing a photo frame for customers to take photos with. They were all pretty welcoming. The only one I remember by name was Dallas, who was advertising the rewards program and even let me take a photo that I could share with all of Yelp; the photo contains a QR code, so you can use my photo to scan and join! Two minutes before 7 AM, we were all let inside the store, where they were giving out tote bags. Dallas and another employee were handing out tote bags to customers. As soon as I came in, my first thought was that the setup of the location was very much like the Long Beach location, size included. Smaller than the Lakewood location, but they still carry the same variety of merchandise and other groceries. Produce looked to be in great quality, but as always, pretty pricey, though you may find some BOGO deals. I do recall the small cartons of blackberries were BOGO free, and a certain bag of 5 avocados was BOGO half off. During the weekend, they were offering 20% off on everything in the store to celebrate the grand opening. There was also a scavenger hunt, which wasn't really much of a scavenger hunt as one half was answering some produce riddles, and the other half was naming certain produce that satisfied a certain trait or two. The prize I got was a basil plant kit. When I left, I was given a farewell by a couple of employees, one at self-checkout, and the other at the entrance. I noticed there were still tote bags left to hand out, so I guess I did not have to wake up that early just to get a tote bag. Before I went back to my car, I noticed they were giving out samples of cotton candy grapes. They didn't have that many samples left on the table when I came, but I'm sure they'd have more waiting in the wings, or maybe even other samples later throughout the day! I came back the following day around lunchtime, but couldn't find a parking spot. Several other cars were engaged in this parking battle, so I took an L and went back home before returning during the last hour of their Grand Opening festivities. Again, I couldn't find a parking spot, so I tried to park on the street, but as I was heading north on Colorado, I noticed some angled parking spots kind of like the ones on McGowen at Long Beach Exchange (LBX). There was luckily a spot open, so I parked there and went inside to see if the festivities were still going on. Unfortunately, the Tractor brandmobile was no longer offering samples of their drinks, and the scavenger hunt had ended. However, they were giving out samples of watermelon slices, so I happily took a bowl of two large wedges, which I happily ate inside the store. I was carrying some coupons from my Sprouts tote bag, and I was looking for the products to see how much I'd have to spend after the discount. Mihaela and Eduardo each noticed (at separate times) I was looking for an item, and both went above and beyond to find the product for me, though in MIhaela's case, the product was right next to her lol. She even went a step further and explained the essential oils, which I had initially mistaken as cooking oils LOL. A few minutes later, Eduardo helped me find a particular beverage when we were in the beverage section. He had to cross the store twice, but finally found it in the vitamin section. And then another minute later, Mihaela offered her help again even though I didn't need it lol. I've been to probably a dozen Sprouts stores in my lifetime, but none of the employees were as customer-centric as Mihaela and Eduardo. I'm sure the other employees would have been just as helpful, though! Lakewood, Cerritos, Norwalk, Long Beach, Downey, and now Paramount. Who's next? Bellflower? Hope so!

Went to this grocery store for the first time recently. Noticed they had a five dollar sushi that…read moreday. It really wasn't great. The rice was pretty hard and the two end pieces had no filling. The wasabi and ginger amount was pathetic. Filling in the middle pieces really didn't taste that good, it wasn't just the rice. We wouldn't come back to get the sushi. Otherwise, this is a typical sprouts. Clean inside, expensive. 2 stars for sushi 4 stars for the store itself

This seems to be one of the average-sized yet spacious TJ's I've been to, and it has most of the daily and featured items in stock. It gets pretty busy at times, as does the parking lot. The staff is friendly and helpful when needed. I appreciate that they have live cashiers and not self-checkouts. Prices are also good to average. A few personal favorites: - The freshly prepared food and salads - Organic fruits and veggies - The variety of pressed juices, probiotic drinks, and wellness shots - A nice selection of wine, beer, and spirits - Plenty of snacks (chips, salsas, dips, etc) - A good variety of meats, cheeses, and frozen items. - Can't forget the skin and health care needs. Some real winners for a fraction of the cost of big-name brands. ie. Vitamin C Serum and Daily Facial Sunscreen that my family loves. - Complimentary samples Depending on what I want to eat or cook at home, TJ's can provide most of what I need. There are some great items I've bought and will buy again, but there are also some disappointments. Overall, I like to shop at TJ's on the regular and am looking forward to the next trip.

At least for the most part. Mom and I had a bit of time to kill and thought it a good idea to walk off the semi-huge lunch we just had. I figured this town center was a good place to do it. It was a plus finding a TJ's here, so out of curiosity, we decided to make a quick stop just to see if they happen to be carrying these ever so famous tote bags. And they did. And the sign says LIMIT 2. No biggie, we grabbed 4, 2 for each of us. While in line, I mentioned to Mom how much I appreciate this store for limiting the number of bags each customer can purchase. We have seen people hoarding them by the hundreds leaving many others out of opportunity to buy/own them. Miss Young-ish cashier must have overheard us and gave her unsolicited and unwanted retort as she sneered at us paired with snarky attitude and said, "Actually, the limit is 2 per household." Welp... that's not what the sign says. It clearly just says, "LIMIT 2." No hint of the word "household" anywhere. But that's all irrelevant anyway as I responded to her appropriately by turning to her direction, gave her a hard stare and said, "That's nice. She and I (while pointing at my Mom) don't live together." She couldn't hide her embarrassment. That look was priceless. This is exactly what happens when one makes false assumptions, so that's right: keep looking down and avoid eye contact as you complete our transactions. I love Trader Joe's, that hasn't changed. The low rating is about the cashier's attitude. I'd still come back, but that probably won't be awhile since there are many TJ's much closer to home. Will update as needed.

Even though there's a location much closer to my home in the Carmelitos area, I still choose to come to Paramount because of the excellent service I consistently receive. In my opinion, Mothers Nutritional Center has some of the best customer service of any grocery store I've visited. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and willing to help. They go above and beyond to make customers feel valued and appreciated. I also appreciate that their prices are affordable and accessible for families. With the rising cost of groceries, it's nice to shop at a place that offers good value while still providing excellent service. One thing that really stands out is that the employees help customers take their groceries to their cars. This may seem like a small gesture, but it makes a huge difference, especially for pregnant women, seniors, and moms shopping with young children. That extra level of care and consideration is something you don't see very often anymore. The store is always clean, organized, and well maintained, and every visit has been a positive experience. The staff's kindness, professionalism, and willingness to help are the reasons I continue to make the extra drive to this location. Thank you to the entire Paramount team for the wonderful service you provide to the community.

I was told from an employee at my optometrist's office that this Lakewood Costco has the best selection of frames to choose from that includes higher priced, couture designer fashion frames and I'm not saying overpriced but brand names and in that $200 range, so very affordable. I traveled from the SBBC, South Bay Beach Cities opting to drive 40 mins here as opposed to 5 mins to the Costco on Hindry (in the city of Hawthorne) which says a lot of how much better the selection here was/is for frames.
