Navigating through the panhandling and aggressive begging behavior has become uncomfortable. Several people I spoke with are upset with the situation and will not patronize this Harris Teeter location if this panhandling is permitted to continue. The "music" being allowed in the parking lot is also very loud and obnoxious. Why are they permitted to to panhandle and play music in the first place? Taking my business $$$ elsewhere!

I completely forgot that the old Farm Fresh in this area had been converted into a Harris Teeter and was pleasantly surprised to see they also have a Starbucks in store (just like most H.T's, but it's super awesome to have one in the area instead of having to drive to Mercury.) I was welcomed by several employees when walking into the store and taken to where the gift cards were, and then checked out, and that's it - I was on my way. Happy days!

We went to customer service and spoke with the man in charge, but unfortunately, he told us it was the last one in stock. Since we are not familiar with the area and weren't sure where else to go, we decided to take the broken package and use it anyway--it's a dry spice, so we figured it would be fine. To our surprise, the same gentleman came to the cashier and told her not to charge us--it was free. Even though the cost of the spice wasn't significant, his thoughtfulness and kindness truly impressed us. This kind of gesture doesn't happen often in international markets. He made this Thanksgiving feel even more like Thanksgiving.
