Starbucks!

I love Harris Teeter! I love the feeling of Harris Teeter! The ambiance screams grocery store and I just have fun shopping in it! Harris Teeter smells so good! The bakery and deli section food is really tasty. The store is very clean and well kept! Floors are very shiny. The associates are really friendly and you can tell they enjoy their job. Whenever I'm looking for something that I can not find their employees are delighted to help!

I'm super impressed with the quality of work the bakery provided me in such short notice! They certainly exceeded my expectations! The ladies have amazing customer service as well. I definitely recommend.

I see some negative reviews which I could probably understand if I haven't shopped in this area for a year and a half. This location by far has the best produce and food selection that I have seen. We will definitely be shopping here from now on. The cashier Laura was super friendly, and all the aisles were stocked with whatever we needed.

50% of the time they are closed.

The Starbucks here, is 50% time closed. Have spoken to the service manager and sent eMails. It is a bit of a teaser saying they have a Starbucks. The other local Harris Teeter in Hampton has 2 staff manning there Starbucks. Why 3 stars instead of 1? Because if you're lucky enough to find the place open they know how to make a latte.

Along with Piggly Wiggly, Harris Teeter has one of the great names for a retail food company. The store itself is a large format supermarket that feels like a warehouse, but has most of what you need for your household supplies - large green grocer area, good deli, and dairy/frozen food zones that make an effort to offer variety. Seems my brother in law knows many of the people who work here by name. I don't think that kind of familiarity happens farther north, at least I have never experienced it. This HT is closest to home, and seems a satisfactory choice if Wegmann, Trader Joe, or Whole Foods are not available. Besides, when you look at the sign out front and start to say the name, you suddenly find yourself singing ditties using everything that rhymes with, "Harris Teeter."

Baked chicken and pizza are fantastic here! Service is on point and it doesn't get overly crowded either.

I often find better deals here now in their weekly circulars than at Food Lion, and the produce is ALWAYS much better than Food Lion.

For the year 2025, I mainly used Walmart Supercenter and Food Lion as my primary grocery stores…read more But for a few times, I stopped here on the way home from work mostly to pick up items. As stated before, this was a go-to for shopping pre-pandemic. Let's see how things went as a whole. Like before, all of the stops were because of lack of items. Basically, I would come on the way home from work and get things here and there, whether it's grocery items in-stock or greeting cards for family members out of state. The checkout process was mostly self-checkout where lines weren't that long. But just like the previous reviews mentioned, the amount of open aisles compared to self-checkout is like apples to oranges. Wait times aren't too long but it can get a little inconvenient if you have more than 5 items to scan. Also, some card readers can't scan cards if you use the chip function. Technology....gotta love it. Other than mishaps, this Walmart has come through at times for yours truly. We all know things aren't perfect. They will continue to remain an option :)

I took the girls to Walmart today, and honestly? It was more fun than I expected. The place was…read morehuge aisles stretching out like some kind of capitalist labyrinth and the fluorescent lighting gave everything a surreal glow, like we were wandering through a simulation. Sayori immediately bolted toward the snack aisle, giggling like she'd discovered a treasure trove. She tried to hug a giant bag of marshmallows and nearly knocked over a display of off-brand soda. I had to gently redirect her before she started naming the cereal mascots. Natsuki was laser-focused on the baking section, muttering under her breath about how "none of these mixes are real food" but still grabbing three boxes "just to prove a point." Yuri, of course, got lost in the candle aisle. She spent fifteen minutes analyzing the scent notes of a lavender-vanilla candle like it was a rare manuscript. I think she whispered something about "the essence of longing." I didn't interrupt. The staff were helpful, if a little overwhelmed by our energy. One poor associate tried to help Yuri find a specific shade of violet ink and left the encounter visibly shaken. I gave him a reassuring smile. He deserved it. Checkout was... chaotic. Sayori tried to scan a plushie shaped like a pickle. Natsuki argued with the self-checkout machine. Yuri quietly paid for everyone's items while I distracted the others with a philosophical tangent about the nature of consumerism. It worked. Mostly. Overall, Walmart was surprisingly accommodating for a group of emotionally complex girls. The selection was vast, the prices were decent, and the experience was if not elegant at least entertaining. I'm giving it four stars. Not perfect, but definitely worth the trip.

Luckily, we were given the green light. Sophia obtained hers weeks prior at another CVS location. I chose this one for the 2nd year in a row. Let's see how things went. Just like previous appointments, I scheduled this one via CVS's website. Simple and easy. I checked in 15 minutes before walking inside to the counter. There was one person ahead of me who obtained his shot during my entrance. I got mine earlier than expected with no problems. In the past, they would tell you to either stay for 15 minutes or walk around the store just in case you had any adverse reactions. They said I could go right home which we did for other plans. Another great visit here to make sure my health remains in good standing. CVS will remain my go-to for booster shots in the near future. Till next time :)
