While walking around the Testaccio Market, we saw people eating supplì. So, we asked them where they got them as they looked so good, and they told us where to find them. They have an assortment of different kinds of suppli as well as Carciofo alla giudia, grilled cheese sandwiches, and so much more. Expect to find a line where you order at the counter and pay, and they then prepare your order. We decided on a Classic Suppli, which is a breaded rice ball with mozzarella cheese, and a Cacio e Pepe Suppli (cheese and pepper). Your food is cooked to order, and this means that the breadcrumb coating is super crispy, but that you have to wait a few minutes before biting into them. They come out super-hot. The depth of flavor is unreal. These were the best suppli we have ever had in Rome. read more
