Please check your milk before drinking it.this is my second time that I purchase and the milk is horrible.i was wondering why my 1 year old was not drinking her bottle of milk and I try it and It tasted discusting. Pretty adequate, everything is pretty cheap and at a reasonable price. The only thing I have to say is that parking situation is pretty sketch. A lot of low income people come here so hold onto your purse. read more

I love this store. I shop here for the fresh produce and boneless skinless chicken thighs. I like to shop early and never had a problem with crowds or people trying to eXpose me to Covid-19. Nice clean store. read more

It's not the best looking store in town but it has a large variety of ethnic foods that I can't seem to find anywhere else in Merced. If youre looking for any hard to find Asian or Hispanic ingredients, check here before you go to the higher priced stores. They have more selection in those aisles than Raleys and Savemart AND Foodmaxx. read more

I'm a regular Food 4 Less goer because I like cheap food, but I've seen cleaner, better kept Food 4 Less's. It's not so horrible that I'd stop going there, but it is pretty sketchy. Also, I once bought Salmon here that was spoiled (it smelled like beer). read more

Cheapest bottled water and seasonal produce in town. The store specials are generally super discounts. Also good selection of Hispanic & Asian foods. And they will take my groceries out to my car for me. read more

Great pricing in foods! Rare to be attended by a nice cashier. Never had been told to show my ID for doing a credit purchase. Overall "Thong" was kind at first, but he rudely asked for my ID when I asked for what he asked for. Very bad costumer service. I recommend to shop somewhere else. read more

Prices here aren't as low as other discount grocery stores around town BUT they do have bulk coffee, which is awesome so you can buy as little or as much as you need and it will be guaranteed fresh. They also have a good amount of Asian items here. read more

This is an absolutely wonderful store, If you want to be solicited for money and scared on your way to the doorway. Worst grocery shopping experience ever! The store is chaotic and not well organized. On top of that I wasn't allowed to by wine because I don't have a California ID. They won't even take my passport as an ID! What a stupid rule.. Don't go there! I'd rather pay more for my food then going there again! read more

The produce here isn't particularly cheaper than other places if you know where to look, but the other goods here can be super cheap, especially when on sale! I think the best deal I picked up here the other day was a few packets of Betty Crocker mixes (pizza crust mixes, muffin mixes, cornbread mixes) for 25 cents each! read more

i have used food4less over a decade but their current rationing of drinking water has me looking across the street today where i will go shopping for my first time. when i asked why the water was being rationed the reply was that too many customers bought more than they needed and resulted in shortage...somebody better tell their employees not to blame the customers if their supply chain begins to fail. i know it is plandemic times, but no virus makes for more stupidity among our community business operations. read more
