I had two separate trousers dropped off by two separate people who work for me. However I had only one item that was delivered back. When I called the ValuClean, the gentleman who works at the front answered and refused to listen to me. He claimed that my daughter had picked up one of the trousers (my daughter has been away and never been to this cleaner), accused me of being crazy, said he had other customers and yelled that he did not have time for me and hung up the phone. I called back and the same thing happened. I eventually got the owner on the phone and we sorted out what the confusion was . It turns out that the same house help person works for two families and she picked up my item thinking that it belonged to the other family, Though the owner apologized to me on my ask, on behalf of the employee, we will not come back to this merchant-one who treats its 20+ year long customer this way.

They also do pick up and drop off for us, and with the amount of chaos going on in my house all the time it helps a great deal. When I first met the owner, Mel, he said he would be able to do the work I wanted and gave me a price. Moving forward a couple of months, I went back many times, and I found that work was either not done (after giving him 2+ months) or things were rushed. I had to call him almost every time, to check on the status of my dress. Not once did someone reach out to me about coming in. In addition, Mel initially said he would hold my dress in the shop, since my wedding was a decent amount of months away. When it was ready, I went to look at the final touches and was told I needed to take it home. The price was also MUCH higher, than what I was told, initially. While the work was being done, an increase in price was never communicated to me. Last week, I took my dress to an actual bridal shop, because I was not happy with the work on my dress. The bridal shop listened to my concerns and had to undo a lot of the work, that had been done, by Mel. On top of what I initially paid, I now how to pay to get it fixed. Furthermore, Gruber's did clean my dress and did take it in a lot, since it wasn't my correct size; but when it came to details, I wish he would have just said that he was not able to do what I wanted and it would have been better to take it to a bridal shop.

They offer a drop off service that she'll do your clothes for you while at work. I don't think she understood what I was saying but she was very friendly and nice. It's $2:50 for a small wash and $4.00 for medium, I didn't use the big one so I can't say how much it cost. The dryers are .25, and for $1.00 my clothes dried in about 30 minutes. If they don't fix my buildings laundry room I will definitely come back too wash more clothes. Couldn't give five stars because I thought that having to spend $4.00 on a machine was high but I think that is the going rate as this time. The last time I washed clothes machines were $1.75 for a small load. Here you have to buy a refillable card to get the machines to work.
