Jayden quickly found and fixed the issue I was having with my door hand and lock. He also spend some time trying to fix my deadbolt too, but he realized the key pad needed to be replaced. Though he worked on it for quite a while, he didn't charge me for it. The Professional Locksmith seems like a good, honest company with knowledgeable workers. Another company told me the handles were beyond repair and needed to be replaced and quoted me $300, but Jayden fixed it for half that.

When there were issues with my lock, the professional (Chris) who served me went beyond the call of duty to solve the problem. The lock, which I had purchased online and not from Elmer & Sons, malfunctioned and caused my front door to jamb. Chris helped my wife and I get the door open and even came back another time to ensure the replacement lock was installed properly and without further complications. Even though this meant putting in a little extra time to get the job done--some of it possibly off-the-clock--he did not rest until our lock was functioning properly and we were satisfied. Later on that same day, my wife had challenges figuring out how to get the lock to function due to its security features. Being the professional he is, Chris swung by our home once again to demonstrate the security features of the lock and make sure she was in the know. As a small business owner, it is my opinion that the best companies to do business with are the ones that not only do good work but they know how to handle the inevitable bumps in the road that come up when dealing with customers. In this regard, great companies: (1) employ skilled professionals who are "bothered" when a job they work on does not meet their own or the customers expectations; (2) receive feedback from the customer about problems and respond professionally and not defensively; (3) set out to do whatever it takes to make things right within reason and occasionally even at their own expense (Napoleon Hill's Principle of Going the Extra Mile); (4) do what they say they're going to do; and (5) don't expect a pat on the back for doing what they said they were going to do. Elmer and Sons, and especially Chris, followed this formula to the letter. While I don't wish for any other lock issues anytime soon, undoubtedly, Elmer & Sons is who I'll call when the need arises. Foolishly, I fell for some prominent Google advertisers that promised a response time of less than an hour. While I waited for callbacks from two of them, I noticed I had a broken torsion spring, and that replacement looked too tricky for me to attempt. Fortunately, I saw Bob's number here on Yelp. I left a message at 3:00 Sunday afternoon when Yelp said he was closed, and he called me back, saying he was available at 9:00 the next morning. Not only did he arrive 20 minutes early, but he did a very thorough job in an hour and a half. He replaced both springs and the central bearing, refastened the motor to my garage ceiling, replaced both drums and cables, tidied up the cabling and sprayed every moving part with a special garage door lubricant. The parts he stocks are noticeably better than what I would have picked up at Home Depot. His price was very reasonable as well. If you need garage door repair in the south suburbs, I hope this review will prevent you from wasting time and money with anyone else.

I opened a request in the morning and Bravo replied within minutes with a quote since I added pictures of what was wrong. They came out quick to fix the door so I could go in with my day. They were great, very professional and polite. They cleaned up after they finished the work and asked if I wanted them to dispose of the old equipment. During the coil spring replacement they also noticed the cables on the sides of the door were getting a little frayed and showed me the areas that might break. They said they had the parts to replace those as well and I had them replace the cables as well so I do not run into any other problems anytime soon. If I do, they said the cool spring has a 3 year warranty and the cable 1 year. Overall a great experience.
