Turned out it was $12, two dollars cheaper, at Foley's, but I realized something else: Auto care, tools, and garden supplies are bread-and-butter to a hardware store, while they're just convenience items for a supermarket: stores like Foley's have to be well-stocked, and have knowledgeable staff who can answer questions. So now I will make Foley's my first choice for tools, because they know them best. But don't worry, supermarkets in Larchmont and Mamaroneck: If Foley's starts selling carrots and cauliflowers, I'll still buy them from you.

Oscar and the painting section crew are great with custom colors and color matching. Being able to pick up a quart of a custom color has been very helpful for me over the years. Steve and the other hardware/store crew are always good at answering my random questions, leading me in the right direction. The checkout staff always changes, but employees are consistently nice.

So it's, ask for help if needed finding the correct aisle. Locate and choose your choice of product. Look for the gigantic orange and white Checkout sign. Hope there's no line, which there generally isn't in the early a.m. Front exit area staff will direct you to one of the available Self Checkout kiosks. Unfortunately, no manned cashiers any longer. Pay for your product while 'Monitoring is in Progress'. And you're done! Easy Peasy. In and out. No major issues here at this Home Depot for me.
