He did such an excellent job, that there was no question that we would call him when we moved into our new home and once again wanted to have recess lighting installed in four rooms and to do some re-wiring. Yesterday Kosta came and reviewed our minor electrical problem. We have eight overhead lights embedded into our kitchen ceiling and a couple of the light bulbs were out. He then showed us that there was faulty wiring in a few of the fixtures. We had already had one of the lights changed using a different type of fixture and bulb and Kosta recommend we replace the rest of the lights with the new fixtures. When I asked him how much it would cost us, he came up with a figure that made me immediately tell him, "OK let's go ahead with it. Can you come tomorrow?" He showed up at the exact time in the morning he had promised with all the material he needed to do the job. With in two hours he had replaced all the fixtures and installed the bulbs. The new lights are much better than the previous ones. He is now my electrician to go to. read more

I called Zveno to help me take down an unattractive ceiling fan in my apartment and replace it with a vintage chandelier. I'm a renter, which meant extra considerations (i.e. the job needed to be done without disturbing my neighbors and in such a way that the original fixture can be reinstalled if and when I move out), but Kostadin understood exactly what the deal was, provided a straightforward estimate, stopped by that afternoon to check things out, and did the job the very next day. And when I say "did the job," I mean that not only did he and his assistant put up the chandelier correctly and for the agreed-upon price, they helped me figure out what height it should be, extended the cord, switched out the chain for a longer one, reattached the (approx) 10 gazillion teeny tiny crystals that had fallen off the chandelier pre-installation, and installed a new light switch, with a dimmer(!!!), so that I can make it all ~sexy~ in here if I want to. (And I do. Oh yeah.) Also, they were very nice to my cat. I don't have a lot of electrician-related experience -- actually, this is the first time I've ever used one -- but I nevertheless feel confident in saying that Zveno is the best in the area, and probably in the world. read more

Hired him for running underground wiring to pool. Took out the permit 6 months ago and still did not do the work. Every time I called he would say two more weeks. Well after doing that 6 or 7 times I got tired of waiting and hired someone else. Then he has the audacity to call me and tell me that I wasted his time and wanted two hundred dollars. Who wasted who's time? Don't get a permit and hold me hostage for 6 moths while you are doing more important and more profitable jobs. read more

Kostadin Dimitrov is as good as they get as far as electricians go. His prices are fair and his work is excellent. He has installed a backup generator for me as well as all the wiring and the additional circuit box so that ten circuits in my home get powered when the power fails. He did it on time and on budget for a reasonable cost. This has worked through a hurricane when the power was knocked out for six days, a massive snow storm where the power again was knocked out for six days, and a second hurricane that knocked the power out again for six days. That is 18 days we have lived on the generator in just three years! All of it with no problems. While he does not do maintenance, we have a third party he contracts with which has done an excellent job of maintaining it. Over the last five years he has worked on multiple things from circuits failing to installnig a roof antenna to receive a digital signal. All is work has been excellent and I cannot recommend him more. read more
