A few companies responded. One company was booked until September while another company declined. A third company was able to show up the same day to measure and provide an estimate. MacVane Electrical was the fourth company to reply but was the quickest to provide an estimate after I texted pictures of the circuit boxes as well as an approximate distance. I was hesitant due to lack of online reviews. Phil (Sr.) quickly responded in the same evening with an estimate as well as a commitment to show up the next day to do the work. Phil (Jr) arrived the next day (Tuesday) as promised along with Ray, and both got the work done in about 2 hours. Both are super nice guys. Turns out Phil and his father started the company just 6 months ago, hence there are few to no reviews online. They are friendly, clean, and thoroughly explained the work that needed to be done. Phil Jr was so thorough that after he finished and left, he called the sauna company to verify the type of plug the sauna required. He then came back an hour or so later to replace the receptacle to the correct type. Westfair put in my system 3 yrs ago and we have had various issues with their system but the recent…read moreevents where when our expensive sony was deemed inoperable after only 3 yrs westfair 's advise was just call sony. They had no interest in helping us. In fact when we bought a replacement tv one of their employees gave us total mis-info on what was need to install it . In addition, i stayed home all day for the install appointment only to be called by the owner to say we were not on the schedule . They are extremely unprofessional and do yourself a favor and avoid this company that could not care less about the customers. They love installs of new exp systems but dont ask them to follow up on issues later on. You will be frustrated !

I was told I just needed to get internet and be able to use the system. I could call Westfair to walk me through the systems installed. Westfair said I needed to pay around $600 for their people to come out and "transfer" the system to me like plug in my modem and change the WiFi name/password. I didn't understand why this required Westfair to bill me multiple hours and asked simply for a quote to just turn on the system for me and they said no. the old owner said Westfair had remote access to the system so they could have helped me more efficiently but they weren't willing to at all, they just wanted to send 2 guys to my house to bill me for 3-4 hours. It felt like a total rip off and they had no interest in establishing a relationship and helping set me up. it left a bad taste in my mouth and I would never us them.

I had been unable to find an antique brass satin finish chain & fittings for a found on the curb on trash day 'Tiffany like' chandelier that I had looked high & low to match @ the 'usual' places w'no luck. The homeowners and volunteers are very welcoming and kind. This is my second year going. I noticed they added more displays, synchronized lights to music in the front and even had a real life Santa on a sleigh. I'm an adult and throughly enjoy it. The kids love it. Last year, I brought my dog and they were gracious and allowed me to walk the displays with her. There are so many cute displays it's hard to focus. It reallly was a joyous visit. Check it out if in the Fairfield, CT area and if you can throw a few bucks in one of the collection boxes.
