    I had a bad experience today with Office Depot, I called customer service (SHANTEL)…read more I inquired about a package that was suppost to be delivered today. She ends up keeping me on hold for (1 hour!) when I was trying to get a supervisor. Giving me excuses saying its a 3rd party vendor. Which if OFFICE DEPOT is using this 3rd party vendor its not my concern as a customer. The package is ending up going to a different state, random address. If I didn't reach out to VEYER they were going to send my package to a random address. VEYER chat then stated I am correct it was going to a wrong address by mistake from the shipper. When speaking to VEYER, they said they going to provide a refund for my order and reship it to my correct address. then a few minutes later they said they gave me a "credit" which is different than a "refund" so thats the other issue. He didn't know the difference between the wording (refund vs credit), so i agreed with the credit and proceed with getting my package to my correct address, then I had to waste another hour on the chat getting this sorted. Still hasn't been resolved while writing this post. I wouldn't order anything from OFFICE DEPOT, again or any service that uses VEYER. they are unprofessional and the customer service representative should be held accountable, they want to waste customers time and they are clueless at doing there jobs. -----(round 2), I call today to ask for a supervisor because yesterday they didnt resolve anything on the phone... my package as of now is going to a different address thats not mine. they didnt do anything to cancel that order or provide me a refund now my package is going to another place. Please dont order anything from OFFICE DEPOT. they give you a excuse saying its a 3rd party vendor etc.. but I didnt order from your vendor I ordered from officedepot.com who is responsible not me... you guys are. --(round 3) I just got a call from a Paula Giraldo Executive Customer Relations | Office Depot, as what I assumed they weren't going to do anything.. She said she will provide a refund in 3-7 days, I will not get my package rerouted or anything just a refund a stupid giftcard for my troubles.. DONT ORDER ANYTHING FROM OFFICE DEPOT.

    This review is for Office Depot Online, NOT the store in Garden City…read more I ordered some custom Post-it notepads online, using a coupon for $50 off any custom product. I received an e-mail confirming the order. After 8 days, when I had heard nothing further, I checked my order status online and found that it had been cancelled because the coupon did not apply. Somehow I fail to understand how Post-it pads with my name on it are not "custom". I guess the whole world must have my name! I never received any notification that this order had been cancelled, so I assume that I was supposed to wait forever. To add insult to injury, Office Depot FAILED TO REMOVE the hold they had placed on my debit card when I had originally placed the order. So now I have nothing and cannot use my own money for something else because of Office Depot's UTTER INCOMPETENCE. Staples....here I come.

Huge props and shoutouts to the awesome Store Manager Gus and the Print…read moreDept Supervisor Freddie for being very professional, sharp, very courteous and proactive in not only greeting me right away and letting me know that it would be a couple of minutes; then ensuring all 6 of us waiting in line for different services were communicated with and taken care of pronto. My color prjnt job cost me $0.49 which I thought was an excellent price for the team doing all the work, checking the e mail, centering the photo and cutting the paper. Outstanding! Big also as a small job like mine( lady before me had a 430 page print and 2 sets of copies) got just as much attention, care and prompt service as hers did. While I was waiting, I walked around and checked out the sales they had on various items - Bounty paper towels, Bic pens, copy paper, computers. The store has a nice and easy non cluttered layout. The cashier wished me a good evening as I exited via the doors on that side of the store. This is a convenient location on the very busy and crazy busy Old Country Rd at the south east corner of Zeckendorf Blvd just 3 minutes from the Meadowbrook Parkway and 4 from the Roosevelt Field Mall.

I was working on a local community event and needed high-quality flyers printed on an extremely tight deadline. After a disappointing experience at another Staples location, I called Westbury hoping to save the project. Bob answered my call, listened carefully, understood the urgency, and immediately connected me with the Print and Marketing Department. That is where I met Mike, who was exceptional. He was patient, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to help me correct my print files and produce flawless flyers in record time. Even during a busy rush hour, he assisted multiple customers with professionalism and care. Because of Bob's responsiveness and Mike's technical skill, I was able to present polished and professional materials that reflected beautifully on our community initiative. This level of care and teamwork deserves recognition. If you need printing or marketing support, visit the Westbury Staples and ask for Bob and Mike. They truly set the standard for excellent customer service.
