We enjoy coming here on Saturday lunchtime . Sometimes they have a food vendor come in or in the summer, they have the open area across from the brewery to enjoy for outdoor enjoyment (aka beer garden) where you can also bring your dog. From a beer perspective, we love trying all their beers which are fairly low in abv and very drinkable. They don't do flights but do half pours. Favorites are the American kestrel , any of the ipas really are great. They have a good variety of beers in cans to go as well. Kid / family friendly brewery. Bring a board game if you plan to stay long.

We had a very pleasant time sipping and chatting. Jane got a sampler, as per her usual, this time all dark beers. She particularly liked the Gingerbread Stout and Long Beard's Oatmeal Stout. This was going to be a very good trip. Obviously this place is a winery, but they have decided to get into beer too. I think the woman told us that they are still pretty new to brewing, but there is nothing wrong with that. They aren't even on the VT beer map. That just makes coming here that much more enjoyable. It is like you are getting in on the ground floor of a stock that you know will make you a ton of money. The setting here seemed very genteel to me. I think there might have been some doilies. If not, there should have been. They have a tasting. You can do wine, or you can do beer. Or maybe you can do both. We did beer. A few they had to taste were a Ginger Wheat (bought a growler of that), an IPA and a Double IPA. For a pretty new brewery they were all very good.

Their new location in North Hudson is huge and wonderful. Coincidentally, I just realized after reading my previous review that we were here this time on their twelfth anniversary, July 26th. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY, PB! Being in Schroon Lake for a memorial visit, it seemed reasonable to travel another twelve miles north to pay PB a visit before returning home. Their parking lot was almost full at 7:30 on a Saturday night. It was amusing to notice the car license plates from so many different states (Canada is still understandingly boycotting the US). There being a 20 to 30 minute wait for a table, we managed to snag two unreserved stools at the bar. I chose to request a Paradox Helles (German style pale lager) while my wife went with a Ginger Hibiscus Cider. Both were excellent. While my wife munched on a House Made Pretzel, I thoroughly enjoyed a Pulled Pork sandwich with a side of spicy coleslaw and potato chips. I dumped the coleslaw (which I didn't find spicy at all) on top of the pulled pork and really enjoyed the combined flavors, textures, and tenderness of the pork on the toasted brioche roll. It was messy but delicious. Their pizzas looked good as I saw them pass by. Next visit may need to be on a weekday when they are less likely to be so busy. Service was excellent considering how busy they were.
