Came to check out their happy hour deals. Towards the beginning our waiter was very attentive and made recommendations. We ordered several items to try different things. The meats were seasoned well and delicious. The drinks were also good and very strong! Towards the end of our time, our original waiter shift ended and our new waitress checked on us once for more drinks but after that, it took an hour for anyone to come by and give us the check. Although the food and drinks were good, the lack of attentive service towards the end of our meal was frustrating.

I've been coming here for happy hours and service is always great! My go to drink is the Gold Rush and love the cheese bread! On my last visit, Albert served our group which consisted about 22 people and he was very attentive and made sure everyone got what they ordered. Thank you Albert! We definitely love this place for happy hours after a long day of work and will definitely come back!

I've been going for lunch to Fogo, not for the buffet but their lunch menu. You get their classic cheese puffs complimentary and may ask for more! The burger is a nice thick patty with standard fixings: red onion, lettuce, tomato. The ingredients are fresh as the lettuce is crisp and the tomato does not bleed. Them red onions are so sweet they make you want to cry and think of Stanley Yelnats, mmm. I like their ranch sauce and the standard dipping sauce that comes with it (tangy something and a combo of mayo and ketchup? Not sure). I will need to come back and try other items

My drink was delish too

Had an awesome lunch at Fogo! Let me start with my favorite which was the sugar bacon! Wow!! 5 out of 5!!! Crispy and so flavorful. My second favorite was the honey cheese!! I had never tried honey on top of cheese. The cheese balls that they give you as an entry are fantastic too! The salad bar even had dragon fruit that was so fresh and good. For 56 dollars a person you get meat and a full salad bar with rice and beans. Our waitress Tatiana was super nice and helpful with our big table of 8. To my surprise they didn't include the tip so we made sure to take care of her. Restaurant is nice and clean and they kept the salad bar full. It was lunch hour so it got busy. Over all top 5!

$10 Picanha Burger w/crispy polenta and a glass of the Alamos Malbec

The very first time I tried Fogo de Chao was in Irvine, CA almost 7 years ago. But my last two visits took place in the El Segundo location for the churrasco experience with my family and a solo dining experience for a Sunday lunch (all day happy hour menu). The churrasco experience was highly enjoyable. Access to the buffet - abundant with a variety of options for side veggies, salads, vinaigrettes, fruit and more! And of course, the signature cuts of meat. I don't remember every single meat we had. But I do remember indulging in the sausage, lamb, sirloin cut, garlic steak, bacon-wrapped chicken, and the picanha. My parents particularly enjoyed the lamb and the parmesan crusted pork. The crispy polenta, plantains, and pão de queijo were excellent additions as well - really made a well-balanced dinner. I only had a few of the cheese bread balls, but the rest of my family must have easily cleared 3 baskets. Service was wonderful. My family and I enjoyed our meat at different paces, but even with some our cards with the red 'stop, take a break' side facing up - we never felt like there was any shortage of meat carving and/or customer service. Our servers were lovely and occasionally checked in to make sure we were enjoying our whole meal. They were even kind enough to ask of any special occasions prior to entering our desserts of choice into the POS system. Drinks Purchased [Both were refreshing!]: Passion Caipirinha Strawberry Hibiscus Caipirinha Desserts Purchased: Key Lime Pie (4.6/5) Crème Brûlée (4.3/5) My solo dine-in visit took place a couple of weeks after. I came in closer to noon on a Sunday to try their happy hour menu. But what I really had my eyes on was the $10 Picanha Burger that came with crispy polenta and a delectable orange sauce. I think there's also an available upgrade to yuca fries as well, perhaps I'll try that next time. That burger paired with the glass of the Alamos Malbec was awesome! I'm actually bummed I didn't have room in my stomach to try the other items, but I'll definitely be back to try the $6 empanadas. Overall, El Segundo's Fogo de Chao is a lovely establishment with a high-end feel paired with surprisingly affordable eats. I look forward to coming back!

The reason I even considered visiting Fogo de Chão is because of a YouTube channel that I started watching where food vloggers, Bill & Lisa talked about the $18 ayce salad bar during lunch aka Market Table & Feijoada Bar. https://youtu.be/sujJsUXZaU4?si=-osxN98fSYfV4FjT So Meateater Hubby and I decided to check it out in Huntington Beach. We had such a good experience that I decided to visit the El Segundo location the following week for my Dad's birthday. Bought my Dad, Mom, and sister to this El Segundo location and also had a great experience! But since I was at the Huntington Beach location just a week prior, here's a bit of comparison: - This location has a bit more Market Table items - This location has garage parking that is free for 90 minutes with validation. We went past the time a bit and only paid $2 - The lentil soup at this location tasted yummier! This one had spinach wilted in the soup, and the flavor stood out more. Plant-based proteins such as lentil soup filled me up. I also appreciated the chickpea, edamame, and black bean salad. Other fresh produce included salad greens, tabbouleh, cucumbers, pickled onions, asparagus, broccoli, marinated mushrooms, hearts of palm, beets, capers, olives (green and Kalamata), peppadew, and Peruvian drop peppers. As for roasted vegetables, there was cauliflower, zucchini, eggplant, artichoke hearts, peppers, apple & butternut squash, and a cabbage stir-fry. Fresh fruit included papaya, kiwi, yellow pineapple, pink pineapple, blood oranges, and dragonfruit. The one area I wish were better was that there was a single disabled parking spot right in front of the restaurant, which would have been helpful for my elderly parents. But apparently it's only for valet use. Why does the valet need to park that close? What's the point of valet when it's that close? Overall, a good experience and delicious meal. Also, they comped a dessert for my Dad for his birthday which was super nice. We came back a few months later for my sister's birthday, and I ordered the Seared Tofu with chimichurri. Pretty legit!

The service was good from beginning to end I was seated very swiftly party of 2. Waiter came over immediately to take our preferred package options and directed us to the salad bar which is very good might I add. I sat on the booth side which had a back pillow (bonus). Only 3 downsides the drinks were pretty weak and pricey, and I wasn't offered any form of water besides the $9 blue bottle of water in which I paid and was good however I should've been offered a glass of free ice water for the price you pay to dine here. 3rd downside is parking there is none so valet is the only option available. Other than that great location, great service and I'll be back with my fiancée again for sure!

Dining set up

Treated myself to a night out and got the Best of Brazil deal for $54. All staff was professional and kind. Marisa was my host, made me feel welcomed and was super helpful!! Casual atmosphere, didn't feel out of place with my T-shirt and slides. Self serve bar was stocked and servers were attentive. Even brought out pineapple when I requested it! Would definitely go again

Great food, service and upscale ambiance. It is clean. The drinks are good. The salad is delicious too.

Big fan of the restaurants, Beverly Hills location is our regular spot. First time at El Segundo location and it was nightmare. Not enough handicap parking available in front of the restaurant. Waitress does not explain menu when seated. Tables are absolutely cramped. Nature of the business requires many of the staff members to move around and our chairs were being touched every five minutes for the first half of the meal. Once that was over we were waiting for 15-20 minutes for them to bring out the meat. We gave up eventually and asked for check. Of course that took them more than 20min, I ended up walking to the counter. Dessert were asked to be Togo and it was just thrown into containers and could not recognize what it was when we opened it . Table cleaners get sprayed right next to us when other guests left and I could feel the cleaning spay landing on my hand. Had to trash food... Not sure why it can be applied closer to the table or even on the towel. Fruit flies were hanging out at the salad bar, I had to inform the staff but bar foods didn't get swapped out when I went back to it. Worst experience, not worth the price. It felt like over priced market place. There are far better choices and service around el Segundo.

I love Brazilian BBQ and I must say that for me Fogo de Chao is the best :) We have been here 3 times since December and each visit has been an equally outstanding experience. From the friendly service & classically decorated dining room to the delicious food. Everything is 5-Stars!! On the most recent visit we were celebrating my Sons Birthday. We both had the Churrasco Experience which includes all you can eat from the Market Bar and a continuous selection of over 12 fire roasted meats brought to your table. As tempting as it is don't fill up on the Market Bar because one easily could and be happy. TIP: Join the rewards program for great discounts. This time we had half-off one meal & a free desert! The also have a great cocktail bar with a large selection of Brazilian cocktails. I had a Strawberry Hibiscus Caipirinha and my Son ordered a glass of very good Chardonnay from the solid wine list. Mine was so good I had to have a couple LOL After eating soooo much food, special shout out to the pork belly w/ honey drizzle & the lamb chops, We were confronted with the choice of any desert from the menu. I strongly recommend the Cheesecake Brulee which one of the best cheesecakes I've ever had! There is valet parking at the door and free validated parking in the structure next door. No street parking is available.

Went to Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse this past Saturday with my brother and his girlfriend (my lil sis ) before heading to the movies, and overall we had such a great experience! They both absolutely LOVED it, and I was so happy we chose this spot for dinner. The food was amazing -- hot, fresh, flavorful, and constantly coming around. We did the $78 all-you-can-eat meat experience, and the servers wasted NO time bringing different selections to our table. There were always staff members nearby checking in on us and making sure we were taken care of, which made the experience feel very attentive and welcoming. Customer service overall was exceptional. We also had reservations and thankfully didn't have to wait long at all to get seated. We were sat outside with the heat lamps, and honestly they felt AMAZING. We barely even noticed the cold breeze because the outdoor seating setup was so comfortable. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because there were a couple inconsistencies with the drinks from the bar. My brother accidentally received the wrong cocktail at first (he ordered the Caramelized drink but was given a Sunrise instead), and the strawberry hibiscus alcoholic drinks that me and my lil sis ordered tasted noticeably different from each other during our second round. Hers tasted really good while mine tasted a little... perfumery? lol Of course different bartenders make drinks differently, but I just wish there was a bit more consistency there. Other than that, the overall dining experience was wonderful and definitely worth it for a fun night out!

Ask the Community - Fogo de Chão

Is the $49 special still available in the El Segundo location?

I am not sure, but it was worth the meal, I've been there more than twice.

How much is Easter Sunday around 5pm price?

I would say from experience , about 100 per person. Unless you purchase drinks

Hi. How much does it cost to eat at this place?

Between $49-$90 pp

Do you have lunch special?

Yes

What time does lunch start and end?

Monday-Friday 11AM-3PM…

Do you offer free birthday meal?

No free birthday meal, but if you subscribe to the mailing list, you will receive an email redeemable for a discount

If you left a review and the management asked you to contact them and you did, did you hear back from them?

Well thank you for reading my review. Well I've had restaurants ask me to contact them but these guys never did. I usually tell people if you get a bad meal immediately ask…

What do the *'s after a menu item mean?

To what I remember, it's a disclosure regarding food items that may be served Raw or Undercooked or contain such ingredients for medical condition purposes.

Are there any dishes that are kid friendly?

If your child like fruit. Mashed potatoes, I have not seen a fish sticks chicken tenders or anyone like that

Do they serve halal meat?

I didn't see this on the menu

How much is parking?

Valet is $10. There's a structure that validates for an hour I think? Not sure how much it costs after that

Confirming they have omelettes and waffles for weekend brunch? Seen it on the menu but haven't seen…

Never had omelettes when I went twice. Waffles... neither. They have these fried toast things like Jenga blocks one "could" perceive as French Toast.…

Can some people at a table get the AYCE churrasco and others order a La carte?

Anything you want and how ever any meat you like!

What days do you search brunch? What are the times?

seems to be a weekend thing

Is the restaurant stroller friendly?

Not really it's too chaotic and busy

Planning on going for lunch and getting the market table plus the picanha? Does anyone know if this includes the cheese bread and fried bananas as a side?

Yes it does, and also comes with the mashed potatos and polenta!

What is the corkage fee?

$35

I don't want the unlimited meat. Can I just order 1 select cut(8-10oz) of meat eg. Picanha($36 showing in their menu) instead of having full churrasco? If yes, does this price $36 already include the unlimited Market table salad bar?

Hi, I know for weekday lunch, you can go for the Marketplace salad bar for $15 and choice of Picanha for an additional $10

But once the food arrived at our table, everything changed. Almost everything we tried was extremely salty. The empada ($4.50) was honestly one of the worst I've ever had. The coxinha and risole tasted like they had been fried in old oil and were so overcooked and burnt that they were barely edible. As a Brazilian, this was especially disappointing. When you go to a Brazilian café, you hope to enjoy some of the flavors and foods you grew up with, but unfortunately, this was nowhere close to what we expected. Our bill was around $50 for: 1 pastel, 1 coxinha, 1 risole, 4 pão de queijo, 1 orange juice, and 2 guaranás. Then came another surprise: we ordered a passion fruit dessert for $4.50, and the portion was less than half of a small cup. On top of that, you could barely taste any passion fruit. I normally understand that restaurants can have an off day, but there were simply too many problems with the food to overlook. For around $50, the quality and portions were extremely disappointing. Based on our experience today, I unfortunately cannot recommend this place. Save your time and money and look elsewhere if you're hoping for good Brazilian food.

They're opened fairly late, great and efficient customer service, and our food came out pretty quickly too. They have their own merch for sale, T-shirts, 3D printed goods, some of it is created by original artists, others, maybe take a closer look for yourself. There's seating inside and outside and some other customers doing pick up orders to go. It's located in a low key plaza with two bunny logo themed businesses. Not too hard to get parking, but we went pretty late at night, so not sure what it's like during the day time. Pretty extensive menu with lots of different burger combinations, a Brazilian hot dog, salgados (snacks), fries, sweets, and much more. They call out your number when the food is ready, but the gentlemen working were super kind and brought everything out to our table. Thank you! He also brought out all of the sauces too. There's the standard ketchup and mustard, a thousand island style sauce, horse radish kick style mayo, and our favorite, the green sauce. Creamy chimichurri with cilantro taste to it, I was heavily dipping our side of fries in it. For our late night dinner, we got the: 1) X-Picanha: -This is their top sirloin cap picanha with melted mozzarella cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, corn, potato sticks, and their special sauce. -The pictures look like they're goofy Scooby Doo sized vertically tall burgers, but they're manageable. It's enough to feed 2 hungry adults enough if you also upgrade to the combo with the fries and a fountain drink (they also have canned and bottled drinks too). -The picanha is super juicy and tender, went great with the cheese, crunch of the potato sticks and freshness of the veggies. Can't go wrong with a solid, unique burger. 2) Coxinha De Frango: -Our friend ordered this and we got to try it and she, as a Brazilian said this food, and the establishment, are authentically Brazilian which is great. -It's a chicken croquette. Fluffy, slightly crisp on the outside and delicious chicken meat on the inside. Not too salty and not too dry. I love eating this whenever I get the chance to. Would definitely come back again to try more of their menu. Lots Brazilian themed decor here, awards, pictures with customers or celebrities, soccer themed goods, and they play Brazilian music too.
