This then made me wonder if the brakes were as bad as they claimed. They showed my wife brake pads that were metal on metal, which would have at the very least been squealing or grinding, and neither was happening. Furthermore, as bad as the pads were, they showed my wife the rotors would have shown damage, and there was none. My wife went in there to get one tire replaced that was supposed to be $130 by the time she got out of there the bill was $600 they are ripping people off. I met another young lady who told me what Pfaff's told her what was wrong with her van before they could do an alignment. She said they told her the wheel bearings were bad, the tie rod ends were bad, the struts, were bad, the rotors and brakes were bad. I jacked up her van the Wheel bearings were tight as could be, the tie rods were tight as could be, the struts showed no leaks and I asked her if her van floats she said no. Her brake pads were still 90% and there was no wear on her rotors.

I parked my car just outside your shop. I was not certain that your Gardner Illinois shop worked on cars. I was parked less than two minutes wondering my next move (my tire now flat) when you, Jeff, came outside your shop, walked towards me and said, "I can help you." Even typing those words I can feel all weight lifted from my shoulders. What a gift. Thank you. I said, "How do you know?" and you replied, " You look a bit lost." We chatted, Jeff grabbed a patch kit and he patched that decently sized tire hole. My day was saved. I am grateful for you- the owner- being so observant and breaking from your busy routine to check on a stranger. It has renewed my faith in the kindness of others. Thank you for your instinctually kind self. I bet I could visit 40 different shops and probably never meet the owner, they may not even be in the building. I will share with others about how kind and fair you are, Jeff. I wish you the most wonderful success in your business.

On Friday I came to pay our final bill and told me he'd drive it Saturday make sure everything was good and Monday I could pick it up. Well Monday came and now we owe more money which was never discussed. And he never drove the RV. Iv been paying in checks now I have to pay in cash. What is that? Now he wants us to come back tomorrow to pick it up. Please don't take your cars to him. I believe he over charged us , the service was horrible, no communication and when we went to pick it up he said he ever agreed to anything So we picked up our RV today. My husband couldn't even drive it over 30. Larry promised that he would redo our engine and have it running like it should clearly it's not
