I had some extra time to spend in the area this morning and definitely needed a redo of my last pedicure from another local Pedi place that left my feet totally (lumpy paint, not straight lines, etc.) ugly after. This place was nearby and had an ability to take me within 15 mins. The store is small but the staff were pleasant, my tech did a wonderful job (he even stopped to make sure the color was what I was expecting and when I wasn't sure he waited for reassurance). My feet look much, much better, and the prices are great. My only complaint was the $45 Pedi (before gel) says it comes with a 15 minute hot stone massage and my hot stone massage was only about 5 mins long. Maybe it meant a total 15 of overall massage? (It was about 10-12 minutes total massage of all kinds so that's close). It was still a great experience and worth the money for sure. Overall it was about an hour experience. Small but mighty! Cute,family owned salon. I highly recommend calling ahead for an appointment. My mom lives in Knoxville. This is her and my Aunts favorite nail salon. Nail salons are much cheaper in Knoxville than in DC/Baltimore. My deluxe gel pedicure with a design was $60. The same pedicure in the area I live in would be at least $75+. Hear me out, the workers are very friendly. They offer drinks, ask you how you are, very nice people. On the other hand the nails I've gotten have been VERY hit or miss. In particular this last time I went, I showed my inspo pictures and he got to work, first off the shape is so crooked, and just not at all what I asked for. When he got to putting the thumb nail tip on he didn't glue it on all the way and the tip isn't glued fully on my nail, he sees this and just pushes it down and it's still not fully on, i tell him and he doesn't even take it off just puts glue. The glue after a couple hand washes comes off. It's been a couple weeks now and my nail literally has fungus bc he didn't fix his mistake. Food has gotten under the nail when I cook etc and I literally have to clean it off. Should've removed the set myself tbh. He should've taken the nail off and put it on again to fix this. I'm not going back here. read more

this was my second time going the first time i went for a full set with white tips and the man was so nice . this time i went in for a full set and pedicure . the pedicure was cool no notes . but when it came time for my full set there was a new guy who was passive aggressive and sassy . he kept trying to make me use the products he wanted when i specifically asked for what i desired . then when i decided to change the design because i figured the outcome would be butchered he made remarks to his coworker . i also asked for square and he gave me square round but i didn't notice until i left . also within the next 24 hours the acrylic LIFTED ! the nails look cute but the customer service and product quality was 3/10 . they are bad vibes do not recommend . i will not be going back . love and light though . read more

My friend and I went to get a pedicure today. We got the #4 service which is supposed to include a paraffin wax mask for the feet but they melted a random candle and rubbed the wax up and down our legs which they did not wash off. A paraffin foot mask is wax in a plastic bag they put your foot in so that was very strange that we got a regular table candle dripped on our legs. it really seemed like the nail techs did not even know their services offered in each package because not all of them were completed and the candle dripping rubbed all over our legs was very strange too. I had the gel polish and during the painting process the nail tech got some all over my big toes off the nail. The massage chairs were pretty strange too because they kept turning off and resetting to sit all the way straight up almost pushing you forward. It wasn't the worst experience it was just unexpected from seeing the other reviews. read more

Ive gone to this salon 3 times. I just moved to Knoxville and this place had some pretty good reviews, they were nice and offered drinks the first two times I went. I always get gel pedicures because I dont have time to keep going back every week or 2 so I pay extra. Gel is $15 more and every time one of my toenails polish has chipped in less than a week. Gel always lasts me more than a month so this has been very irritating!!! I went back for the third time to get it fixed, the owner shrugged me off and didnt attend to me for more than 20 minutes when I went in. So unprofessional, they all just ignored me and wasted my time. read more

Very disappointed with my Nails. I have went to Focus nails off and on for I would guess 10-11 years ( could have been a little less ) and always ended up with great Pedicures and French Tips, until this last time. My nails look horrible. They look like those you get at the Drug Store in a package and glue on your self. They have gel pooled around the sides & cuticles, they did NOT attempt to even manicure my nails or anything like they have done in previous visits before adding the White tips and gel. The nails themselves are horribly misshapen , and way too big for my fingers. Normally when I have had my nails done, they always look amazing and i always would get many compliments and you could not even tell they were tips and gel, but as I said, these are just horrible. The Pedicure was good though, even though after 4 days ,my polish is already chipping and that doesn't even happen when I do them at home myself. Overall, I only gave them 2 stars because of the Pedicure itself being okay, otherwise they would have gotten 1 star. Do NOT go to Tim at Focus nails, he does a horrible job and is more worried about smoking and his phone than his customers. read more

Do NOT go here for nails, I had shellac and my friend had acrylics...the worst job on both we have ever had. I ended up removing mine the same day! The shellac ( and I have had shellac for several months) was too thick and seemed to have lint once placed on my nails, the color did not even go up to the cuticle. My friend had acrylic, which were SO uneven and diagonal, she did not even have them polished. A man did mine and the older lady with glasses did my friend. There is another younger girl there, and her client's nails looked good from what I could see, other than her...by far the WORST nail salon I have EVER been to. read more
