Prices are VERY misleading , they tell you one thing then when we went to pay it was way more than what we expected on what we were told. The man was friendly but the women were not at all. The Man did great work but the women didn't give my daughter at all what she asked for and then charged her more. I just shake my head at some of these glowing reviews! Are we really going to the same place? Yes, technical skills are excellent, but that's just not enough for me. I've tried them 3 or 4 times and find them unfriendly, not respectful of my time, and taking clients for granted. Also, the salon is not pristine. The plastic dividers in the individual work areas should be cleaned more often! Today I had a 5 o'clock appointment, and at 5, the technician wasn't even in the building. At 5:15, I left. It took me four different tries, but I finally found my nail place. I've been twice now for pink & white acrylic fills with Cindy and she does a very thorough and perfect job, and they grow out seamlessly. Her husband Jack does beautiful work, too. Last time I was there he was airbrushing a woman's nails and it was gorgeous. She said he's been doing it for her for years. Another woman told me she drives 45 minutes to go to this nail salon. I came here due to the high ratings on yelp and I was not disappointed! The guy who did my nails (I failed to get his name) was super kind and did my nails with ease. They were only $50, which for a full acrylic set with gel is a great deal in my opinion. He often asked how I liked them and checked into make sure I was satisfied. The color I chose looked a little different than I thought and he quickly helped to make it into what I was looking for. Also, the nails are very sturdy and look amazing. Its been awhile since I've been to Snappy. I soaked mine off to give them a rest. On August 18th I went to another place by recommendation. Not naming them, but across from the old Food City and close to Krystal on Clinton highway. I asked for a pedicure and fullset. Within a week my nails were lifting and gel toe nail polish cracking!! I went back and was told they had no control over how fast my nails grew!? The man suggested another fill in for 30.00!!! So I left after she fixed one nail. I made an appointment that day with Snappy to change my toe nail polish, I still have it on, no cracks at all! I made an appointment to have a fill in with Jack also. On September 2nd Jack took care of my nails, it has been 3 weeks and my nails still look perfect. I have received many comments on the pale blue color. I spent over 100.00 at the other salon and ended up so unhappy. I will not make that mistake again I'm not sure who did my toenail polish but I had fell a few days earlier and broke my little toe. He was so attentive and easy. My entire experience with Snappy has exceeded my expectations and I will definitely return. read more

Called to make an appointment because they said that would be better than being a walk in. The apt was for 3 girls and at 3 pm. I did not get seated until 4:40 and people that has apts at 4 were seated before I was because I was told the only person that could do the design was the one guy that was working. Then a different woman ended up doing my nails. The nails turned out great but they are poorly ran as far as customer service goes. If you have time to wait go ahead buy if you make an appointment because you have plans that day I would go somewhere else. Just sayin. read more

So I've recently moved to Tennessee and as a nail technician doing others nails on a daily I needed to get pampered for a change. This would be my second time trying a salon here in the states and believe me I was just as hesitant this time more than the last. Only because my first experience was just crappy. But I love this place. I failed to get the owner's name but got to talking and he is actually a new owner to this place. He did such an amazing job on both my pedicure and my fill. Super gentle, so clean and sanitized. As a picky person, I am giving him 5-stars. He did not mess up on my nail shape, did not cut me, kept my acrylic thin just how I like. All out just fantastic. Definitely recommend this place ! Despite other bad reviews previously, these new owners are great and this place deserves a second chance. read more

Let me just say how great I have been treated while here. Not only do my nails look amazing!!! But they feel amazing not sure if anyone sympathizes with me but normally after a full set my hands hurt because of the drills. Went for a pedicure (my first ever), was asked if I wanted a manicure too, I said yes. The lady did my pedicure and everything was great. The she started another pedicure, totally forgetting (?) my manicure. She finished the other lady's pedicure, removed my spacers from between my toes, said thank you and took the other lady to the manicure station and proceeded with her manicure. Not a happy camper. I was a walk-in but so was the lady that came in after I did. Paid for the pedicure and left. Went there on the recommendation from a co-worker. The lady that did my pedicure didn't speak English, So she wouldn't have understood my complaint anyway. Won't be going back. read more

Great lil place to get nails done a lil pricey for polish with acrylic nails but done a great job!!

I showed up on time for my appointment and waited thirty minutes before being acknowledged. Fifteen more minutes before I was seated. I wanted gel nails, not just gel polish, and had made an appointment specifically for gel nails. The lady doing my nails insisted that I was wearing acrylic, which I wasn't, and would not hear of using gel on my nails. I should have walked out but wanted nice nails for a special occasion. My nails looked fine when she was finished, but were popping off in a week. The nail bed underneath was left in terrible shape. read more
