I have been wanting to try FOB and was glad to hear they opened. New location in Tukwila. The parking at this plaza can be quite difficult as it is quite busy. When I visited there was a short line. As you get closer to the front you can pick a box which probably fits like 25 pieces or a small container fitting about 12. From there you get your tongs and start picking what you want. The first is all the rows followed by inari sushi then nigiri. Behind the roll, there is a brief description of what is in the roll. They had a nice assortment of options for a quick lunch spot. They also have poke bowls. It seemed like people had to stay in the same line as those getting sushi to get to the register to order a poke bowl. By the door is where they have all the condiments. It's all nicely displayed making it easy to grab and go. They have containers for fresh ginger and spicy mayo along with packaged yuzu, soy sauce, and wasabi.

Wifey and I had a great experience here. I've always been a big fan of the Seattle location, but living in Graham makes Seattle a very long drive. Tukwila is much more manageable and offers a wonderful selection of Poke as well as sushi by the pound. I love this model as it allowed my wife and I to get regular poke bowls and try a roll or two. I also love how large this location is. There is a ton of room for groups of all sizes, couples, or even solo patrons. Their fish was fresh and they have strict parameters to ensure nobody gets sick from fish that is left out for too long.

The selection is fresh, due to the constant flow of customers. It is nice when you can choose how much you want, rather than being stuck with 3 or 4 pieces of one kind that you may not enjoy. They have my favorite Calpico - orange too, soo happy about that... Some of the pieces were a bit too largely cut, so that was unfortunate. The bathrooms did not seem to be cleaned regularly, as it was nearly noon, and the trash cans were overflowing and the floors could have used a mopping. Great selection of sushi, so we will definitely return, just hoping for a more clean experience in the restrooms.

Always a fan of FOB Sushi bar, and very glad that they have expanded to additional locations. Sushi is large and delicious. 2 things that could improve is: - Cleanliness of the location, we arrived a early in the day and it is obvious that there are food scraps (fish egg, rice etc.) uncleaned on the floor from day before - Remove unappetizing pieces of sushi. At Seattle and Bellevue sushi bar location, I do not typically see supar (darkened / grayed tuna) being used to make sushi, it would be good for the Tukwila to either trim or avoid those being served.

Just like the Seattle location but much closer to home and with a poke bowl option! We were so excited to come to this newly opened location. The line went all around the store but moved fast as people picked from specialty rolls, inari, nigiri and large pieces of seared tuna. Unique flavors and mixtures of fresh seafoods. Decor is cute and clean. The corner condiment bar has packages of wasabi, and soy sauce and bottles of sushi sauce, spicy mayo, and ginger to put in to go containers. With the large crowds turn over of the sushi available made sure everything was fresh from the kitchen.

Amazing selections for this spot. Opened a few months ago this self serve, weight $15.99/lbs fill your box is super legit and so much great value and quality. We got in the perfect timing and got exactly needed and then some. The staff were continuously restocking the sushi as it gets taken. There also have poke bowls on the counter next to the side. We got a great amount of sushi selection and I love about it is you can mix and match and not have to eat 8pcs of the same roll or sushi, there's variety and you do your own picking. We spent overall $35 for a full box. There's drinks in the fridge for purchase and more condiments such as ginger, sauces, soy and cutlery near the front entrance. Lots of seating, parking is available on lot. I would definitely visit again.

Such a convenient location! The sushi here is fresh, flavorful and they do not skimp out on the protein. 10/10 recommend. The seating area is huge, people come and go so there's plenty of seats available. The little stitch surprise is cute too!

A great place to get sushi by the pound! The line goes by fast, there's a lot to pick from! Everything that I got was spectacular, my favorite was the Inari and Salmon Nigiri. It was a good price, very convenient, good service, I highly recommend and I would come back

So excited there's a new location in Tukwila! I've been to their Seattle and Bellevue locations before and it's always a challenge to find parking. Luckily, this location is perfect with plenty of parking on a plaza. I went in for lunch on a weekend and surprisingly, the lines weren't that long. The restaurant is much bigger and there were plenty of tables for you to sit to enjoy your food. The service was quick. You pick whatever sushi you like with your tongs and they will weigh it at the end. Fyi it's about $15.99/pound. It is so hard to resist filling up the whole box. I like how fast the workers kept refreshing the sushi making it look so appetizing and fresh. I will definitely come back again and recommend this to my friends who never been to fob sushi before.

The new fob is one of its best locations with convenient parking and large indoor space for dine in seating. The flavor and quality is consistent with the other locations as well! Love this new location!

    Deliciousness!!

Uh oh..... We have a FOB Poke Bar closer to home!! I have to say that the price for all the sushi I had in my box was worth it! The interior of the restaurant is spacious compared to the other locations. There's more places to sit, but it is a loud environment. All the condiments, water and utensils are near the entry, making it a little easier to grab as you are leaving. But in the little corner there, it can get very busy too. Everything was a good size and fresh! Yummy!! Everyone working behind the counter made sure to keep all the sushi trays filled, making sure all the different sushi's were available for their customers. The only thing I that I didn't really like is the wait. Maybe cause of the new location, but the wait to make it to the counter was over 30 minutes. So, if anyone that is trying to make it during their lunch period may not have enough time. Also, I don't know if I would ever dine in? It's super busy, loud, and you wouldn't really have much privacy cause the line wrap's around the whole restaurant. Unless, things starts to die down a bit.

Super duper impressed on their busy Friday evening rush! Located in the same plaza as Dollar Tree, Boiling Point, and Jersey Mikes, FOB is tucked snuggly in between. As this is their opening weekend, I waited in line maybe 15-20mins. The line wrapped around the entire restaurant, but moved fairly quickly. Their staff members are attentive and works efficiently. Tap to Pay is acceptable too! Decor inside is bright and cute. The sushi has a big stamp of approval! $14.99/lb and they don't skimp on the fish! Rolls were tasty with many options to choose from. Same goes for the nigiri. EVERY DISH HAS LABELS! You don't have to guess what's in your sushi, haha. Poke is on the left of the bar with delicious fresh veggies, poke options galore, and 2 sizes, regular or large. I ordered a regular with 2 proteins $15. Boxes and bags are glamorous too! Condiments such as wasabi, ginger, soy sauce, and utensils are at the counter by the front door. I'll for sure be a returning customer at this location!

In simplistic terms, it's bougie sushi. Fast casual, culinary art. It's close to Sea-Tac Airport, just a drop down into Tukwila. Hungry passengers can come here after landing. The restaurant is located in Southcenter Plaza, just east from Target. Abundant free parking. The dining area accommodates a range of customers from a party of one to large groups. If you are having lunch with business partners or colleagues then the wave walls will give some privacy. Grab a box or plastic container, then tongs, and start grabbing your preferred sushi. Cost is based on weight. They offer Pepsi products. Sushi was pretty good. Service is transactional. Don't expect a warm welcome or any kind greeting really. They'll just take your box, weight it, tell you how much it is, and you pay. Because it's a newly opened restaurant in the South End there's a lot of hype. Once the hype simmers, I hope management can take the time to train their front facing employees to be friendly.

Definitely part of the Corner Bakery Cafe chain, they are not picked randomly from place to place. In the Southcenter area, it's actually a great breakfast spot that has a fast food vibe, but a casual dining presence. And the food is actually really good. There are self service beverages, like soda and tea, but there is also self service coffee. It comes down to what you want to eat, and its short order speed, and done well. They do have a multitude of fresh baked dail items, but if you look up, you'll see a complex breakfast menu. Scrambled eggs, and bacon. What catches my eye is the stack of pancakes that welcome you to order them. Also don't forget their other specialty scrambled eggs along with egg burrito like wraps. The accompanying sauces are also equally tasty. Would I return? Absolutely. It's definitely a go to among the locals. And definitely something I'd return for! My daughter ordered their Chicken Katsu plate and mine was the Kalua Pig plate. My daughter enjoyed the katsu and it was such generous portion. However I didn't enjoy my kalua pork. It had an amazing smokey aroma but the taste was nothing but just salt. The side dishes were very tasty however. At first, I was trying my best to eat it with rice but the salt in the end really got to me. Especially I have high BP, so I decided to let the lady behind the counter know. It was very nice of her to remake it but it was still very salty. By then, I didn't want to eat it anymore. She offered to remake it for the third time as the chef was feeling bad about it. I told her, it's OK. My mouth only tasted salt and I had chucked down so much water including the free drinks she offered. I was already full. My daughter tasted it and said it was OK and told me she would eat my kalua pork and I could have her leftover half of chicken katsu. Tomorrow is New Year's Eve. It will be our dinner if we can't find a restaurant open.

For our last venture here, we told our server we needed a little more time to review the menu and decide if we would want to try something different. She did not return for a little over ten minutes. In the mean time, I was getting a little bothered and saw she was servicing her other two tables near us many times, having conversations with another server, and just not coming back to see if we were ready to order. I decided to pass the workstation and ask her to take out order, but then hearing their conversation about social life and not work, that upset me. As I was ready to collect my family and walk out l, she returned to take our order. My wife gave her grace and we sat back down. The food here is delicious! I recommend the ravioli or the udon carbonara. Both are elegant dishes and have the best mixture of truffle flavor. These are our favorites. The restaurant is very nice, mall front design. The host and hostess are phenomenal! When you enter, not only are they very inviting and making you feel at home, they also offer everyone in the family champagne and for the young ones, sparkling juice. Who I assume is the manager, she is all over the place and in my mind, she works harder than she should. She was expediting, greeting, cleaning, refilling utensils, replacing chopsticks on the table, etc. I feel her team should stop talking about life at work and do a better job at performing their roles in this business. Because of the table service disappointment three times, I think we will take a pause and not return for a while. Spending $300 on average here, we love to eat, I would expect a certain level of service.
