Him and his team came in early today which was Saturday morning and knocked out the project in 4.5 hours. There workmanship was absolutely awesome and professional. I had them buy the insulation and products to do the job as this is there business and they know what to get and order based on the square footage. They got to my house and from beginning to end they never stopped working. I made them breakfast and brought it to them as they never stopped working and figured they deserved some good energy food to continue the good work ! There price was WAY better then any of the other companies. They took the job and showed up on time and completed the work. My attic was warm and cozy within hours of them leaving. Insulation is the way to go if you don't have it . I am sure my fuel bill will go right down now and my heat will stay in my house and not out . I research and price out anything I have to do to my house. This company truly will do a fantastic job ! I give them 5 stars 100 percent ! Again, all the other companies prices where way higher then any of the others. The bottom line is there work is neat and they come and do a professional job. We had a sales guy and technician on site during our inspection to answer ANY questions we may have. We live in a condo association, so noise was something we were really concerned about. They priced us a model that was quieter than others, and explained the entire process to us. The team came out on 7/3/2018, THE HOTTEST WEEK we had this summer, and worked tirelessly to install our unit. We have vaulted ceilings and a tight attic entry, so this was a challenge, and took longer than they anticipated due to the heat, but they got the job done. They vacuumed my entire upstairs hallway, stairs and living room after they were done to pick up any/all insulation that may have been moved around, dirt ect... The sales guy, David, came back over about under a month later to check in on us, and make sure everything was running properly. Most recently I called at 4:30 pm to ask if they could send me a description of the work they had performed at our house a YEAR earlier. I was not surprised that I had to leave a message that late in the afternoon but I was pleasantly surprised to receive the summary I had requested from Elicia by email at 8:50 am the following morning. I had 12 windows installed by American Building Technologies, and this was one of the worst…read morecontractor experiences I have had. The installation crew itself was excellent--hardworking, polite, and professional. My issues were with management, particularly Jose. We agreed on a specific brand and style of windows, including three large living-room windows. When the order arrived, I was told they could no longer do the three large windows, but the price was not reduced. I was told the remaining windows would be installed and the large ones reordered. When the windows came off the truck, I immediately noticed they were not the brand we had agreed to. I contacted Jose and found him dismissive and disrespectful. Because my old windows had already been removed, I was told these windows would be installed and the correct ones ordered later. An inspector was then sent as though the job was complete. Every installed window failed inspection because the required safety glass was not used. The proposed solution was to replace only three windows and apply safety film to others to meet code. I am now left with windows that were not what I agreed to purchase, that failed inspection, and an unresolved dispute over the correct windows and pricing. Based on my experience, I would not recommend American Building Technologies. I am also very disappointed that Mass Save refers homeowners to this company.
