Terrible. You don't own your website. Sales didn't care to offer that information or really anything on the process. The design team was a joke. We held multiple zoom meetings. They did not come on screen once. Every change was extremely frustrating. Unprofessional. I felt as if I was talking to myself. There answer to everything is, here's a link. It is sad as I have offered suggestions in absolute detail as to how they could turn their system into something that actually would be quite good at a basic level. This is only met with the usual corporate talk. I used the website service to market my financial planning business. It didn't do much in more than 4 yrs so I decided to cancel it. When I called in to cancel they told me I had to pay a cancelation fee of $234 or pay for the remaining 5 months of service and call in before the 30days of automatic renewal. I used them for 5yrs, so Im happy to get rid of them because I was blindsided by this cancelation fee. Legally people get screwed by these contracts that should have a minimum of time used but after 5yrs this is a joke. read more

FMG Suite is a NIGHTMARE to work with, hands down the worst business I've ever had to work with. As a client, we had to constantly repeat the requests we had for changes to our website. When you reach out to them for help, everyone there always passes you along to a different employee who doesn't understand your issue. The Dashboard to make changes to your website is basic, but getting changes approved is complicated, takes forever, and when a request is denied it is never clear why. In terms of getting our website set up, we, the customers, constantly had to jump through hoops and essentially do aspects of their job for them. All of those partners we worked with echoed the same frustration. Stay far, far away from FMG Suite. They are literally the worst. read more

The website design is average but the reason I'm giving one star is you can't cancel before your subscription period ends or you pay an "early termination" fee. It took them two months before they informed me of this fee so now I'm stuck with a website I don't want. If you are looking for website design almost anywhere can do what they do. It seems like this is one of those companies that doesn't care about clients, once they get their hooks into your wallet that's all they care about. 1 star rating. The whole process started out good until I realized the "copyright" content I paid for was merely canned and used in other websites. When I decided to cancel, their customer service will not respond and they have no number available for the department that handles cancellations. Seems they are dragging things along so I have to pay another monthly fee. They also have a 30 day cancellation, which nobody disclosed. read more

Extremely frustrating company to partner with. My team and I have not been heard when we have repeatedly requested what we want. 2 months were wasted of the billing process as FMG was expecting a questionnaire to be filled out but did not follow up or clarify expectations. Canned content is so-so, the marketing plan is not sensitive to the desires and interests of actual financial and wealth clients, and I found a canned article about a specific hotel that was essentially an ad. Ugh. FMG staff assigned to us typically take their time in responding to messages and requests. Once our new site became "live", it was not correctly assigned to the domain name. Days have passed after this was reported to them and a solution has not been made. The website developer told us that our domain hosting site and I would be responsible for setting up the redirect, but a staff person from the domain hosting site said that the web developer was responsible for the set up. The domain hosting site staff person followed the codes given by the web developer to me in an email but apparently they were wrong because now the old site (using the domain name) is down and the new site continues to not have the new domain name attached. PLEASE go elsewhere! The beefed-up marketing packages are overkill, weak, and expensive, and dealing with this company is more than a headache and a half. Trying to get out of a contract with them is an ongoing issue... RUN! read more

Do not use FMG. I'm on a month-to-month contract and I've informed them of my plans to transfer my website to a new registrar and they've ghosted me. I've called them 6 times since August 8th when I notified them I was planning to cancel and they just won't call me back. I've had to block them from charging my credit card, I've contacted an attorney, and filed a complaint on ICANN.org. Very poor business practices. read more

My website was very slow to prepare to launch (combination of my fault, a 7 month delay before the State approved my RIA, and the delays causing FMG to lose interest). They charged me for the basic website development and also their enhanced marketing suite for the entire time (which doesn't work if your site isn't launched). I paid roughly $1,000 in enhanced marketing services which they cannot provide if your website is not launched. Their customer service response was that they were covered since I'd signed their contract stating "regardless of website being live or not", but they would give me a discount (not specifically stated) on my next bill. When we were finally ready to go, I was then surprised at a new "If you are ready to Go Live, sign this next contract" from them changing website design to an hourly fee. I ended up doing the site myself (it was basically a similar process as working with FMG on design and content). It looks very similar (not quite as nice, but close) and I have full flexibility to change and adjust as my business changes without having the FMG charges or hassle. read more

If I could give this company a negative star rating, I would. Do not expect actual design work or wisdom. They basically use templates, slap what information you give them into the template, are unable to do anything creative (unless you move to their custom plan). Our site went live with buttons that don't work and missing information. Excuses for the poor work are abundant but ridiculous! read more

We have used FMG for almost 2 years. In the beginning things went pretty smoothly. However, the last few months have been a nightmare. First we discovered the unsubscribe link didn't work in our emails. The first time I reported it I was told the problem was on our end (which is strange since send our email through their site). Then I was told "they would let their team know about the problem", finally someone from FMG admitted the problem was on their end. The second issue is we've been using articles from their resource library that aren't up to date. In fact, I had a lady contact me quite upset because the piece had 2020 information and it is 2023. I pointed this out to FMG and they gave me the same song and dance "they would let their team know about the problem". I pointed out this was a compliance issue...we can't send out information that is not accurate. They told me it was my responsibility to check it. The whole idea of using them was because they advertise their the stuff is compliant and has been approved by FINRA. Yesterday I noticed one of the articles with errors had "updated" next to it. I checked and nothing had changed. When I contacted FMG they said they would "let their team know about the problem". Then they let me know the "team" said it could take several weeks to fix. I told them they needed to take it down then. One of the aggravating things is most of the issues can be fixed just by entering the 2023 information....they don't have to rewrite the article. They have had the 2023 numbers for several months. When you pay over $300 a month for a service, you expect it to be correct. If you currently use them, you better triple check everything you use that they have created. If you had negative stars, I would definitely give one (or three). read more

We used FMG for our company website and it's up around last Nov. (2017). Since then, we have pointed out their general resource portion has mistakes (on tax return due date and related info). Up to now, late Feb, 2018, even with our repeated contacts with the company "customer service" team, the bad mistake is still there. Getting a simple tax due date wrong (that has nothing to do with new tax law) is already amazing. Then, dragging on over three months and still cannot fixed a date on their web page is just beyond us..... read more

I subscribed to FMG about a year ago and when it came time to cancel their service, I couldn't. Apparently when you operate from misinformation by the company, you are still responsible. I was told that my site subscription went from the 28th of the month to the 28th of the month even though the billing started at the 20th. Because I called on the 24th, I was required to pay for a full month that I hadn't even used yet because it is in their...wait for it....Terms & Conditions. My alternative was to be sent to their 3rd party collections and not pay the 59 bucks. I spoke with Austin and Darren. Their answer to just about everything was....yep, you guessed it....it's in our Terms & Conditions. That was a lot of fun. read more

if you ever come across this company -- run for the hills! they are bad news! -- they happen to buy out the company that was managing my website and first thing they do is delete all my content and call me to tell me I need right away to recreate my website -- this after charging my Amex without authorization using the info that was on file from company they bought out -- after I cancelled they still continue to charge my Amex -- I have reported them to Amex but now I'm thinking will need to report them to the authorities as well read more
